Early Life: Born Daniel Trombley Ingram on September 7, 1934, in Oceanside, New York.
Career Beginnings: Ingram started his radio career while still in college at Hofstra University, working at WHCH Hofstra College, WNRC in New Rochelle, and WALK-FM in Patchogue.
WABC-AM: Ingram joined WABC-AM in New York City in 1961, where he became one of the most popular DJs of his era. He was known for his humorous and irreverent introductions, often talking over the musical introductions of songs.
