Shown here are my takeaways from all 48 PPM-measured markets, based on Nielsen Audio’s 6+ total week stats from the January 2026 ratings period.
Round One
New York
After trending 6.4 – 6.8 – 6.5 – 6.2 (October – “Holiday” 2025, 6+), Audacy all-News WINS-FM busts out a January 2026 +1.3 to 7.5 (6+), pushing up from second to first. “1010 WINS at 92.3 FM” upends iHeartMedia-owned Adult Contemporary WLTW “106.7 Lite FM” (12.5 – 7.0, -5.5, first to second, 6+), which held a stranglehold on the top spot the past 41 survey periods. “Lite” had been a net +5.1 via three straight surges (7.4 – 7.4 – 9.9 – 12.5, 6+); this (7.0) is its lowest 6+-stat in essentially three years (February 2023, also 7.0).
Including its January +1.1, iHeartMedia Urban Contemporary WWPR “Power 105.1” continues an alternating up/down pattern that commenced in September (2.7 – 3.3 – 3.1 – 3.4 – 2.9 – 4.0, #12 to #10, 6+).
Without an increase the past three sweeps for a net loss of eight-tenths (3.5 – 3.0 – 2.7 – 2.7, 6+), Audacy Sports Talk WFAN-FM “101.9 The Fan” posts a +1.2 to 3.9 (#14 to #11, 6+).
Los Angeles
Having more than doubled (net +7.8) its 6+-topline since September (5.5 – 5.7 – 6.5 – 11.2 – 13.3, 6+), iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary KOST forfeits seven full-shares to 6.3 (6+). Nonetheless, “Coast 103.5” is #1 the third time in a row.
Enjoying increases of nine-tenths each are Spanish Broadcasting System Regional Mexican KLAX “97.9 La Raza” (3.3 – 4.2, eighth to sixth, 6+) and Univision’s similarly formatted KSCA “La Nueva 101.9” (3.0 – 3.9, #13 to #9, 6+).
Every Los Angeles station placing in the top twenty registered a (6+) “Holiday” 2025 – January 2026 increase, except aforementioned KOST (-7.0); Univision Spanish Contemporary KLVE “107.5 K-Love” (flat at 3.0, #13 to #14, 6+); Audacy Smooth AC KTWV “94.7 The Wave” (4.3 – 4.1, -.2, fourth to seventh, 6+); and iHeartMedia News/Talk KFI “AM 640” (3.1 – 2.9, -.2, #11 to #16, 6+).
Chicago
The combination of Audacy-owned WBBM-AM & WCFS notching an increase of eight-tenths (5.1 – 5.9, 6+) and iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary WLIT freefalling by -7.2 (12.4 – 5.2, 6+) results in “News Radio 780 & 105.9” progressing from second to first and “93.9 Lite FM” dropping from first to fourth. The “News Radio” simulcast was up three-tenths in “Holiday” (4.8 – 5.1, 6+). “Lite FM” led the way the past four sweeps and recorded four consecutive gains for a net +7.7 (4.7 – 4.9 – 6.0 – 11.5 – 12.4, 6+).
Immediately after stumbling by eight-tenths in “Holiday” 2025 (5.0 – 4.2, 6+), Hubbard Broadcasting Hot AC WTMX “101.9 The Mix” bounces back with a +1.3 to 5.5 (fifth to second, 6+).
With their 6+ “Holiday” 2025 rank in parentheses, these Cumulus Media-owned/Chicago stations did not subscribe to the January 2026 sweep and are thus unlisted: Classic Hits WLS-FM (seventh) and Alternative WKQX (eighth).
San Francisco
It’s a “Holiday” 2025-only stay at #1 for Bonneville International Adult Contemporary KOIT (9.9 – 4.7, -5.2, 6+) which slips to fourth-place. “Better Music For A Better Workday” had more than doubled (net +5.2) its 6+-share in back-to-back sweeps (4.7 – 7.0 – 9.9, 6+). Succeeding KOIT is KQED Inc.-owned public News/Talk KQED (9.2 – 9.8, +.6, second to first, 6+). Prior to giving way to KOIT in “Holiday” 2025, KQED was the frontrunner for 12 consecutive sweeps.
As a result of January’s full-share increase to 3.7 (tenth to sixth, 6+), iHeartMedia Hot AC KIOI “Star 101.3” pulls the plug on five straight decreases which resulted in an overall loss of eight-tenths (3.5 – 3.4 – 3.1 – 3.0 – 2.8 – 2.7, 6+).
With their 6+ “Holiday” 2025 rank in parentheses, these Cumulus Media-owned/San Francisco stations did not subscribe to the January 2026 sweep and are thus unlisted: Classic Rock KSAN (#11) and Sports Talk KNBR (#16).
Dallas
The highly-consistent October 2025 – January 2026 topline for iHeartMedia Hot AC KDMX is: 4.8 – 4.4 – 4.5 – 4.4 – 4.5 (6+). Its one-tenth January 2026 boost is sufficient for “Mix 102.9” to advance from fourth to first, overtaking co-owned Adult Contemporary KDGE (10.1 – 4.4, – 5.7, first to second, 6+). “Star 102.1” was #1 the past two survey periods and more than doubled (net +5.3) its 6+-topline in back-to-back sweeps (4.8 – 8.6 – 10.1, 6+).
Logging gains of six-tenths each are North Texas Public Broadcasting’s “90.1 KERA News” (2.8 – 3.4, 6+), which catapults from #16 to #8 and Urban One-owned Urban AC KZMJ “Majic 94.5” (1.2 – 1.8, #18, 6+).
With their 6+ “Holiday” 2025 rank in parentheses, these Cumulus Media-owned/Dallas stations did not subscribe to the January 2026 sweep and are thus unlisted: Country KPLX (second); Country KSCS (third); and Sports Talk KTCK (fourth).
Houston
A combined -6.7 the past two sweeps (16.4 – 13.3 – 9.7, 6+), iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary KODA “Sunny 99.1” is nonetheless #1 the sixth time in succession.
With an enormous uptick of two full-shares to 5.0 (#12 to #6, 6+), iHeartMedia-owned KTRH “News Radio 740” more than fully eradicates its collective -1.7 via three straight declines (4.7 – 4.4 – 3.3 – 3.0, 6+).
Slipping from seventh to ninth, Audacy’s Country-formatted KILT-FM “100.3 The Bull” returns exactly half of “Holiday” 2025’s +1.4 (4.8 – 4.1, -.7, 6+). KILT-FM’s topline had been in the three-share range the previous five survey periods (3.2 – 3.0 – 3.2 – 3.7 – 3.4, 6+). Also regressing by seven-tenths is Spanish Broadcasting System Regional Mexican KROI “La Ley 92.1,” which is an overall -1.3 in three straight drops (4.0 – 3.7 – 3.4 – 2.7, #11 to #15, 6+).
Cumulus Media/Houston CHR KRBE (tenth in “Holiday” 2025) did not subscribe to the January 2026 sweep and is thus unlisted.
Atlanta
A combined -1.8 in December and “Holiday” 2025 (8.5 – 7.4 – 6.7, 6+), Cox Media Group-owned WSB-AM “Atlanta’s News & Talk” answers with a January 2026 +1.1 to 7.8 (6+) and is #1 the sixth successive time.
After sputtering by a combined two full-shares in December and “Holiday” 2025 (6.8 – 6.1 – 4.8, 6+), WSB-AM’s Adult Contemporary sibling, WSB-FM “B-98.5,” erases half the deficit with a +1.0 to 5.8 (eighth to sixth, 6+).
Up or flat the past four sweeps for a net gain of three full-shares (3.3 – 3.3 – 3.6 – 4.2 – 6.3, 6+), Audacy’s WSTR “Star 94 The Rhythm Of Atlanta” spirals by -2.5 to 3.8 (third to ninth, 6+). Including January’s -1.7, Educational Media Foundation Contemporary Christian WAIA “Air 1” continues an alternating up/down sequence that began in September (3.7 – 4.2 – 4.0 – 4.5 – 2.8, #10 to #12, 6+).
With their 6+ “Holiday” 2025 rank in parentheses, these Cumulus Media-owned/Atlanta stations did not subscribe to the January 2026 sweep and are thus unlisted: Country WKHX (seventh); CHR WWWQ (#14); Classic Rock WNNX (#17); and Urban-Rhythmic Oldies WWWQ-HD3 (#20).
Philadelphia
Audacy Adult Contemporary WBEB suffers the largest (6+) “Holiday” 2025 – January 2026 attrition by any station in all 48 PPM markets (17.0 – 5.4, -11.6, 6+), collapsing from first to sixth. On top in December and “Holiday” 2025, “Philly’s B-101” more than tripled (net +12.0) its 6+-stat (5.0 – 10.1 – 17.0, 6+). Powered by an increase of three full-shares (5.5 – 8.5, 6+), co-owned Eagles flagship “Sports Radio 94 WIP” advances from fourth to first.
In addition to WIP, cluster-mate KYW “News Radio 1060” escalates by a whopping three full-shares (3.6 – 6.6, 6+), vaulting from ninth to third.
Progressing by at least one full-share are: Beasley Broadcast Group’s “93.3 WMMR Rocks” (5.9 – 7.1, +1.2, unchanged in second-place, 6+); WHYY, Inc.-owned public News/Talk WHYY (3.9 – 5.2, +1.3, steady in seventh-place, 6+); and Audacy’s WPHT “Talk Radio 1210” (1.7 – 2.7, +1.0, #19 to #14, 6+);
Nassau-Suffolk (Long Island)
Tacking on a substantial +2.2 to “Holiday” 2025’s increase of four-tenths (6.6 – 7.0 – 9.2, 6+), Audacy all-News “1010 WINS at 92.3 FM” progresses from third to first. Ousted after a “Holiday” 2025-only stay at #1 is iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary WLTW “106.7 Lite FM” (8.5 – 3.5, -.5.0, 6+), which freefalls to tenth. WLTW was a combined +5.6 the two previous sweeps (2.9 – 6.6 – 8.5, 6+).
WINS-FM’s Sports Talk and Hot AC cluster-mates, WFAN “101.9 The Fan” (3.6 – 5.2, ninth to sixth, 6+) and WNEW “New 102.7” (2.5 – 3.7, #11 to #9, 6+), are +1.6 and +1.2, respectively. Cox Media Group CHR WBLI “106.1 BLI” is +1.4 (4.3 – 5.7, sixth to fourth, 6+), while Red Apple Media-owned WLIR “Talk Radio 107.1” is +1.2 (.6 – 1.8, #15, 6+).
After more than doubling (net +4.2) its 6+-topline via three straight gains (3.4 – 4.0 – 5.5 – 7.6, 6+), Connoisseur Media Hot AC WALK-FM “Long Island’s Best Variety” plummets two full-shares to 5.6 (second to fifth, 6+).
Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario
An overall -4.4 the past three sweeps (12.0 – 11.4 – 9.1 – 7.6), Entravision Spanish Adult Hits KLYY “Jose” responds with a +1.8 to 9.4 (6+) and is #1 the 14th time in succession.
Lazer Media Spanish Adult Hits KAEH “La Mejor 100.9 FM” (1.0, 6+) resurfaces on the top twenty at #16.
San Jose
Off by a combined full-share the past two sweeps (5.9 – 5.8 – 4.9, 6+), Univision Spanish Adult Hits KBRG “Amor 100.3” registers a +1.3 to 6.2 (6+) and advances from second to first. Displaced from the top spot after back-to-back survey periods there and sliding to fourth is Bonneville International Adult Contemporary KOIT “Better Music For A Better Workday” (11.6 – 4.7, -6.9, 6+). KOIT was a net +7.3 the past three sweeps (4.3 – 4.7 – 7.9 – 11.6, 6+).
Improving by +1.6 and +1.5, respectively, are Audacy-owned KCBS-AM “All News AM 740” (4.1 – 4.7, third to second, 6+) and Bonneville International Classic Rock KUFX “98.5 K-Fox” (3.2 – 4.7, seventh to fourth, 6+).
In the Hot AC battle, iHeartMedia’s KIOI “Star 101.3” is +1.4 (3.9 – 5.3, fourth to third, 6+), while Connoisseur Media’s similarly-formatted KEZR “Mix 106.5” is up a full-share (3.6 – 4.6, fifth to sixth, 6+). “Star” gained eight-tenths in “Holiday” 2025 (3.1 – 3.9, 6+); “Mix” was a combined -1.8 in December and “Holiday” 2025 (5.4 – 4.7 – 3.6, 6+).
With their 6+ “Holiday” 2025 rank in parentheses, these Cumulus Media-owned stations did not subscribe to San Jose’s January 2026 sweep and are thus unlisted: Sports Talk KNBR (#17); Classic Rock KSAN (tied for #18); and News/Talk KSFO (tied for #18).
Middlesex-Somerset-Union
Up one-half share in “Holiday” 2025 and another two-tenths in January (7.0 – 7.5 – 7.7, 6+), iHeartMedia Classic Rock WAXQ “Q-104.3” jumps from the runner-up slot to #1. It succeeds Adult Contemporary sibling WLTW “106.7 Lite FM” (10.9 – 5.9, -5.0, 6+), which drops to third after back-to-back stays in the penthouse. “Lite” more than doubled (net +5.6) its topline in four successive advances (5.3 – 5.5 – 6.4 – 8.7 – 10.9, 6+).
Four Audacy outlets boast “Holiday” 2025 – January 2026 upticks of at least +1.1: Classic Hits WCBS-FM “New York’s Greatest Hits,” which was locked on 5.4 (6+) the past two sweeps (5.4 – 6.7, +1.3, third to second, 6+); Sports Talk WFAN “101.9 The Fan” (3.3 – 5.1, +1.8, ninth to fourth, 6+); all-News “1010 WINS at 92.3 FM” (3.2 – 4.3, +1.1, #11 to #7, 6+); and Urban Contemporary WXBK “94.7 The Block” (2.2 – 3.6, +1.4, #12 to #11, 6+).
Round Two
Washington, DC
On the heels of forfeiting nine-tenths in the “Holiday” 2025 sweep (12.2 – 11.3, 6+), Hubbard Broadcasting-owned WTOP answers with a substantial +2.2 to 13.5 (6+). The all-News facility is #1 the eighth time in a row; in double-digits (6+) the 15th straight survey period; and has its highest 6+-stat (13.5) since August 2025’s 13.9.
A combined -1.8 the past two sweeps (11.6 – 10.9 – 9.8, 6+), News/Talk WAMU “88.5 American University Radio” rebounds with a +1.2 to 11.0 (third to second, 6+). Prior to the “Holiday” 2025 sweep, WAMU had been in double-digits (6+) 47 straight times. Without an increase in each of the last five sweeps for a modest overall loss of three-tenths (1.2 – 1.2 – 1.1 – 1.1 – 1.0 – .9, 6+), Audacy Sports Talk/Capitals and Wizards flagship WJFK-FM “106.7 The Fan” posts a full-share gain to 1.9 (#19 to #16, 6+).
A net +5.8 via five consecutive sweeps without a loss (4.3 – 4.6 – 4.9 – 4.9 – 8.7 – 10.1, 6+), iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary “97.1 WASH-FM” regresses by -5.2 to 4.9 (second to sixth, 6+).
Cumulus Media/Washington, DC News/Talk WMAL (eighth in “Holiday” 2025) did not subscribe to the January 2026 sweep and is thus unlisted.
Boston
Trending 6.4 – 6.9 – 6.2 – 6.3 (October – “Holiday” 2025, 6+), Beasley Broadcast Group Sports Talk WBZ-FM “98.5 The Sports Hub” logs a +1.3 to 7.6, its strongest topline in exactly one year (9.0, January 2025, 6+). Moreover, the flagship of the Celtics, Bruins, and New England Patriots progresses from the runner-up slot to #1. WBZ-FM last hit the top spot in November 2025.
After setting the pace in back-to-back sweeps, Audacy Adult Contemporary WMJX “Magic 106.7” (13.5 – 6.2, -7.3, 6+) trades places with “The Sports Hub” at #2. “Magic” held – or shared – #1 honors five straight months before shifting to third in July, and was then #1 in August; September; October; December; and “Holiday” 2025.
Owing to January’s +1.2 to 3.6 (6+), iHeartMedia News/Talk WRKO “AM 680 The Voice of Boston” (#15 to #13) wipes away a collective loss of one full-share through three straight declines (3.4 – 3.1 – 3.0 – 2.4, 6+). This (3.6) is its best 6+-stat since July 2025’s 3.7.
Miami
On top the third time in a row, Cox Media Group-owned Adult Contemporary WFEZ “Easy 93.1” registers a 6+-stat in the 7.1 – 7.5 range the sixth time in the last seven sweeps: 7.1 – 7.2 – 7.2 – 6.6 – 7.3 – 7.4 – 7.5.
Expunging “Holiday” 2025’s loss of nine-tenths (5.9 – 5.0, 6+) with a full-share increase to 6.0 (6+), Univision Spanish Contemporary WAMR “Amor 107.5” climbs from fourth to third.
Up one-half share this time last month (5.1 – 5.6, 6+), Audacy Adult Contemporary WLYF “101.5 Lite FM” surrenders seven-tenths (4.9, third to sixth, 6+).
Seattle
It’s déjà vu at the top, as University of Washington-owned News/Talk “94.9 KUOW” (9.4 – 9.7, +.3, second to first, 6+) succeeds Hubbard Broadcasting Adult Contemporary KRWM “Warm 106.9” (11.1 – 5.3, – 5.8, first to fourth, 6+). In “Holiday” 2025, “Warm” supplanted KUOW, which had spent 12 straight survey periods at #1.
A combined -2.2 the past two sweeps (6.3 – 5.7 – 4.1, 6+), iHeartMedia Classic Hits KJEB “95.7 The Jet” responds with January’s +1.4 (5.5, fifth to third, 6+).
Bonneville International-owned/Seahawks flagship KIRO-AM “Seattle Sports 710 AM” tacks on a +1.3 to “Holiday” 2025’s six-tenths (3.2 – 3.8 – 5.1, seventh to fifth, 6+). At the same time, owing to a +1.1 to 4.8 (ninth to seventh, 6+), co-owned KIRO-FM “News Radio 97.3” pulls the plug on three straight drops that resulted in a -1.5 (5.2 – 4.4 – 3.9 – 3.7, 6+).
Advancing by +1.2 and +1.1, respectively, are Audacy Country KKWF “100.7 The Wolf” (3.3 – 4.5, #11 to #8, 6+) and Friends of KEXP Alternative KEXP (3.2 – 4.3, #12 to #9, 6+).
Detroit
After trending 7.4 – 7.8 – 7.6 (6+) the last three survey periods, Audacy Sports Talk WXYT-FM “97.1 The Ticket” posts a +1.3 to 8.9 (6+), as the flagship of the Pistons, Red Wings, and Lions moves up from second to first. Having spent three straight survey periods at #1, iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary “100.3 WNIC” (14.7 – 6.3, -8.4, 6+) segues to fourth. WNIC basically doubled (net +7.3) its 6+-stat through three straight surges (7.4 – 8.0 – 12.2 – 14.7, 6+). In calendar year 2025, WNIC was #1 in January; February; March; August; November; December; and “Holiday.”
Audacy cluster-mates (Classic Hits) WOMC “104.3 Detroit’s Greatest Hits” (6.0 – 7.4, fourth to second, 6+) and WWJ “News Radio 950” (4.3 – 5.5, sixth to fifth, 6+) are +1.4 and +1.2, respectively.
Meanwhile, iHeartMedia CHR WKQI “Channel 95.5,” which was down or flat the past three sweeps for a modest overall loss of three-tenths (3.8 – 3.8 – 3.6 – 3.5, 6+), obliterates that deficit with a +1.2 to 4.7 (ninth to eighth, 6+).
With their 6+ “Holiday” 2025 rank in parentheses, these Cumulus Media-owned/Detroit stations did not subscribe to the January 2026 sweep and are thus unlisted: Hot AC WDVD (#10) and News/Talk WJR (#20).
Phoenix
Even though it craters by more than nine full-shares (16.8 – 7.5, -9.3, 6+), iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary KESZ “99.9 KEZ” is #1 the fourth time in a row. Entering the January 2026 sweep, KESZ had been a net +10.7 in four consecutive progressions (6.1 – 7.9 – 8.3 – 14.0 – 16.8, 6+).
Three of KESZ’s cluster-mates chalk up gains of at least one full-share: Adult Hits KYOT “95.5 The Mountain” (3.6 – 5.2, +1.6, fifth to third, 6+); KFYI “News Talk 550” (3.5 – 4.6, +1.1, sixth to fifth, 6+); and Country “102.5 KNIX” (3.3 – 4.3, +1.0, steady in seventh-place, 6+).
Without an increase four times in succession for a collective -3.7 (8.8 – 8.7 – 7.6 – 6.0 – 5.1, 6+), Hubbard Broadcasting Classic Rock “100.7 KSLX” is +1.1 to 6.2 (third to second, 6+). Immediately prior to November 2025, KSLX was #1 for six consecutive months.
Minneapolis
An increase of four-tenths (8.5 – 8.9, 6+) proves sufficient for iHeartMedia Sports Talk KFXN “100.3 The Fan” to progress from second to first. The flagship of the Minnesota Vikings; Minnesota Timberwolves; Minnesota Wild; and the WNBA’s Minnesota Lynx had been a collective -3.5 the past three survey periods (12.0 – 11.0 – 10.3 – 8.5, 6+). Following back-to-back stays in the top spot, co-owned Classic Hits KQQL “Kool 108” (13.1 – 6.2, -6.9, 6+) drifts from first to fourth. “Kool” was a combined +7.6 in December and “Holiday” 2025 (5.5 – 10.8 – 13.1, 6+).
A whopping +1.7 propels Minnesota Public Radio-owned KNOW “91.1 MPR News” to the eight-share range (6.9 – 8.6, fourth to second, 6+). In three straight upticks – including January +1.5 – Audacy’s WCCO “News Talk 830” has more than doubled (net +2.3) its 6+-share (2.2 – 2.7 – 3.0 – 4.5, #14 to #10, 6+).
Dialing up gains of +1.3 each are Hubbard Broadcasting Hot AC KSTP-FM “KS-95” (5.6 – 6.9, fifth to third, 6+) and iHeartMedia Country KEEY “K-102” (4.0 – 5.3, ninth to seventh, 6+).
With their 6+ “Holiday” 2025 rank in parentheses, these Cumulus Media-owned/Minneapolis stations did not subscribe to the January 2026 sweep and are thus unlisted: Rock KXXR (#12); Classic Rock KQRS (#13); and Adult Contemporary WGVX (#17).
San Diego
Albeit off four-tenths (8.1 – 7.7, 6+), Audacy Classic Hits KXSN moves up from second to first. Prior to December, “Sunny 98.1” held the top spot 12 straight months. Adult Contemporary sibling “KYXY 96.5” (13.7 – 6.7, -7.0, 6+) exits the penthouse after December and “Holiday” 2025 stays there and drops to fourth. KYXY had been a net +8.1 via three straight upticks (5.6 – 5.7 – 11.1 – 13.7, 6+).
Progressing by +1.7 each are San Diego State University-owned News/Talk KPBS (5.9 – 7.6, fourth to second, 6+) and Audacy Country “103.7 KSON” (3.2 – 4.9, eighth to sixth, 6+). In “Holiday” 2025, KPBS was -1.6; KSON regains in full the -1.7 it lost this time last month.
Meanwhile, iHeartMedia Hot AC KMYI “Star 94.1” (4.1 – 5.2, sixth to fifth, 6+) and Local Media San Diego-operated Alternative XTRA “91-X” (2.2 – 3.6, #16 to #9, 6+) are +1.1 and +1.4, respectively.
Tampa
Trending 8.8 – 8.6 – 8.4 – 8.8 (November 2025 – January 2026, 6+), Radio Training Network Contemporary Christian WCIE “The Joy FM” advances from second to first. Displaced after back-to-back stays at #1 and trading places with WCIE is Cox Media Group Adult Contemporary WDUV “Lite Favorites 105.5” (11.0 – 8.4, -2.6, first to second, 6+). WDUV had been a combined +4.2 the past two survey periods (6.8 – 9.1 – 11.0, 6+).
An overall -1.8 via three drops in a row (5.5 – 5.3 – 4.2 – 3.7, 6+), iHeartMedia Country WFUS “US-103.5” answers with a +1.1 to 4.8 (tenth to eighth, 6+).
Following a loss of nine-tenths in “Holiday” 2025 (3.0 – 2.1, 6+), Cox Media Group News/Talk WHPT “102.5 The Bone” improves by +1.3 to 3.4 (#16 to #11, 6+).
Denver
Notwithstanding that it sputters by more than five full-shares in January 2026 (12.1 – 7.0, -5.1, 6+), Bonneville International Adult Contemporary KOSI is #1 the 12th survey period in succession. “Real Music Variety” had been an overall +5.6 via three straight improvements (6.6 – 6.9 – 10.9 – 12.1, 6+), directly after a collective -1.1 in four straight down or flat sweeps (7.7 – 7.5 – 7.5 – 6.6 – 6.6, 6+).
As a result of a +1.7 to 5.6 (6+), KOSI’s Country cluster-mate, “98.5 KYGO,” curtails four successive tailspins that eventuated in a combined -2.7 (6.6 – 5.7 – 5.4 – 4.5 – 3.9, 6+) and zooms from tenth to third.
Baltimore
Turnaround is apparently fair play as Urban One-owned Urban AC WWIN-FM “Magic 95.9” (9.2 – 8.7, -.5, 6+) succeeds Audacy Adult Contemporary WLIF “Today’s 101.9” (11.6 – 4.1, -7.5, first to seventh, 6+) at #1. Roles were reversed this time last month, as “Magic” took over at #2 after 11 straight months on top. It’s a “Holiday” 2025-only residence at #1 for WLIF, which was a combined +6.4 in December and “Holiday” 2025 (5.2 – 9.0 – 11.6, 6+).
Down or flat the past three survey periods for an overall -1.1 (3.5 – 3.5 – 2.6 – 2.4, 6+), Hearst Communications-owned/Ravens flagship WBAL “News Radio 1090” recaptures nine-tenths of that loss (3.3, #12 to #11, 6+).
Gaining nine-tenths as well – and remaining steady at #13 – is Baltimore Public Media Triple A WTMD “89.7 Total Music Discovery,” which erases a “Holiday” 2025 decrease of the same magnitude (3.0 – 2.1 – 3.0, 6+).
St. Louis
One of seven market outlets posting a (6+) “Holiday” 2025 – January 2026 gain of at least one full-share, Hubbard Broadcasting’s KSHE (7.5 – 8.5, +1.0, 6+) progresses from second to first. “Real Rock Radio” supplants Audacy Adult Contemporary “102.5 KEZK,” which craters by more than ten shares (17.6 – 7.0, -10.6, 6+). After consecutive #1 stays, KEZK shifts to fourth-place. In five straight sweeps without a loss, KEZK more than tripled (net +12.4) its 6+-topline (5.2 – 5.6 – 5.6 – 6.5 – 13.3 – 17.6, 6+).
Owing to a +2.1 to 4.4 (#15 to #12, 6+), the drought is over for KMOX “The Voice of St. Louis.” Entering the January 2026 sweep, the Audacy News/Talk outlet had its 6+-share slivered in half (net -2.4) via eight straight survey periods without an increase (4.7 – 4.7 – 4.5 – 4.5 – 3.7 – 3.2 – 2.9 – 2.6 – 2.3, 6+). Co-owned/similarly formatted KFTK “97.1 FM Talk,” an overall -.9 in three straight down or flat trends (1.9 – 1.5 – 1.0 – 1.0, 6+), adds a full-share to 2.0 (#19 to #17, 6+).
Notching a +1.8 are iHeartMedia Country KSD “93.7 The Bull” (5.1 – 6.9, sixth to fifth, 6+) and Audacy Hot AC KYKY “Y-98” (4.1 – 5.9, ninth to eighth, 6+). Off a combined nine-tenths in December and “Holiday” 2025 (5.5 – 5.0 – 4.6, 6+), University of Missouri-St. Louis News/Talk KWMU is +1.4 to 6.0 (seventh to sixth, 6+). With an October through “Holiday” 2025 topline of 3.4 – 3.7 – 3.6 – 3.7 (6+), iHeartMedia CHR KSLZ “Z-107.7” records a +1.3 to 5.0 (#12 to #9, 6+).
Round Three
Portland
A combined +6.8 the past two sweeps (8.2 – 13.4 – 15.0, 6+), iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary KKCW regresses by -5.5 to 9.5 (6+); nevertheless, “K-103” is #1 the third straight time.
Tied in third-place are Connoisseur Media Triple A KINK “True To The Music,” which boasts a two-share gain (5.5 – 7.5, fifth to third, 6+) and Oregon Public Broadcasting-owned News/Talk KOPB “OPB Radio,” which is +1.5 (6.0 – 7.5, steady at #3, 6+).
Without an increase the past three sweeps for a net loss of eight-tenths (4.6 – 4.6 – 3.9 – 3.8, 6+), iHeartMedia CHR KKRZ “Z-100” answers with a +1.2 to 5.0 (ninth to seventh, 6+).
Charlotte
Adding two-tenths to “Holiday” 2025’s half-share gain (7.0 – 7.5 – 7.7, 6+), Urban One-owned WOSF “105.3 RnB” pushes up from second to first. The five most recent (6+) fluctuations for Beasley Broadcast Group Adult Contemporary WKQC have been: +.8 (October); -1.5 (November); +3.4 (December); +5.3 (“Holiday” 2025); and now -7.5 in January (14.9 – 7.4, 6+). After back-to-back #1 finishes, “K-104.7” segues to #2.
In light of its +1.9 to 6.3 (seventh to third, 6+) University Radio Foundation-owned WFAE “Charlotte’s NPR News Source” fully eradicates its collective -1.8 via three straight dips (6.2 – 5.0 – 4.6 – 4.4, 6+).
Off a combined half-share in back-to-back survey periods (3.8 – 3.7 – 3.3, 6+), iHeartMedia Country WKKT “96.9 The Kat” flaunts an increase four-times that magnitude (+2.1, #13 to #5, 6+), reaching a five-share (5.4, 6+) for the first time since July 2025’s 5.0.
San Antonio
A first-place tie involving Cox Media Group siblings has an added twist: Both facilities are down by at least a full-share. Specifically, Classic Hits KONO-FM “KONO 101.1” is -1.0 (8.1 – 7.1, third to first, 6+), while co-owned Classic Rock KTKX “106.7 The Eagle” is -1.2 (8.3 – 7.1, second to first, 6+). This time last month, KONO-FM and “The Eagle” improved by +1.8 and +3.2, respectively. KONO-FM was on top from August through November. “The Eagle” had been a net +3.7 in five straight sweeps without a loss (4.6 – 4.6 – 4.8 – 5.0 – 5.1 – 8.3, 6+). The CMG cluster-mates oust iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary KQXT (10.7 – 5.6, -5.1, first to fifth, 6+), which had been on top in December and “Holiday” 2025. “Q-101.9” nearly quintupled (net +8.4) its 6+-topline in six successive surges (2.3 – 2.5 – 3.3 – 4.2 – 4.3 – 9.9 – 10.7, 6+).
Two iHeartMedia siblings register gains of +1.1: Country KAJA “KJ-97” (5.6 – 6.7, fourth to third, 6+) and WOAI “News Radio 1200” (2.0 – 3.1, #16 to #12, 6+). The latter was a combined -1.3 in four successive down or flat sweeps (3.3 – 3.3 – 3.2 – 2.9 – 2.0, 6+).
In one-share range five of the last six sweeps (1.3 – 1.6 – 1.9 – 2.1 – 1.4 – 1.2, August – “Holiday” 2025, 6+), Connoisseur Media Regional Mexican KSAH “Norteno” doubles “Holiday” 2025’s 1.2 to 2.4 (#17, 6+).
Sacramento
January’s +1.6 (8.7 – 10.3, 6+) enables iHeartMedia-owned KFBK to match the 10.3 (6+) it notched in October 2025. Moreover, “News 93.1” progresses from second to first. After being a combined -2.1 in back-to-back losses (5.2 – 4.3 – 3.1, 6+), co-owned/similarly-formatted KSTE-AM “Talk 650” roars back with a +1.9 to 5.0 (6+), rocketing from #12 to #4.
In the Adult Contemporary arena, Bonneville’s KYMX, which was on top the past two sweeps, falters by -3.4 and slips to third (10.6 – 7.2, 6+). “Mix 96” had been a collective +4.7 in four straight surveys without a loss (5.9 – 7.2 – 7.2 – 9.4 – 10.6, 6+). iHeartMedia’s similarly-formatted KBEB “92.5 The Breeze” is a combined -5.8 in December and “Holiday” 2025 (9.1 – 6.8 – 3.3, 6+), freefalling from #3 to #13.
Logging January gains of +1.2 and +1.5, respectively, are Audacy Classic Rock KSEG “96.9 The Eagle” (6.8 – 8.0, third to second, 6+) and California State University – Sacramento’s KXJZ “Cap Radio” (3.4 – 4.9, ninth to fifth, 6+). “The Eagle” logged an 8.0 (6+) in September and November, as well. In three straight slips, “Cap Radio” was a combined -1.3 (4.7 – 4.5 – 4.0 – 3.4, 6+).
Pittsburgh
Not only is Audacy Sports Talk KDKA-FM without a loss the fourth straight time for a net gain of four full-shares (7.7 – 7.7 – 8.0 – 8.2 – 11.7, 6+), “93.7 The Fan” zooms from fifth to first. After four straight months at #1, WWSW “94.5 3WS” (15.6 – 10.5, -5.1, 6+) segues to third. The iHeartMedia Classic Hits outlet had been a collective +5.4 as a result of four straight increases (10.2 – 10.5 – 10.6 – 11.8 – 15.6, 6+). Despite exiting the top spot, WWSW is in double-digits the seventh consecutive time and ninth time in the last ten sweeps.
Off -1.1 in “Holiday” 2025 (9.7 – 8.6, 6+), Steel City Media Adult Hits WRRK “96.9 Bob FM” responds dramatically with a January bump twice that margin (10.8, +2.2, third to second, 6+).
Following six straight down or flat trends that resulted in an overall -1.7 (5.2 – 5.1 – 4.8 – 4.5 – 4.5 – 4.3 – 3.5, 6+), iHeartMedia CHR WKST “96.1 Kiss” is +1.1 to 4.6 (eighth to sixth, 6+). Leaping from #12 to #7, Audacy Country WDSY “Y-108” is +1.6 (2.3 – 3.9, 6+).
Salt Lake City
Up a modest one-tenth this time last month (5.4 – 5.5, 6+), Bonneville International’s KRSP explodes with a +2.3 to 7.8 (6+), advancing from fourth to first. This (7.8, 6+) marks the first time “103.5 The Arrow” has reached a seven-share since June 2025’s 7.4 (6+). On top the past two sweeps, co-owned Adult Contemporary KSFI “FM 100.3” (15.8 – 6.9, -8.9, 6+) segues to #2. KSFI had been a net +9.5 in three straight upticks (6.3 – 6.4 – 13.2 – 15.8, 6+).
Paced by a +2.4 from iHeartMedia-owned KNRS “Talk Radio 105.9” (2.8 – 5.2, #15 to #4, 6+), seven other stations in addition to “Arrow” log sweep-sweep upticks of at least one full-share. This (5.2) is the strongest 6+-showing for KNRS since April 2025’s 5.3. After losing half its 6+-share (net -3.6) in three straight setbacks (7.2 – 6.4 – 4.4 – 3.6, 6+), independent Country KSOP-FM “Z-104” logs a +1.6 to 5.2 (ninth to fourth, 6+). An overall -1.7 as a result of three straight drops (5.7 – 5.5 – 4.8 – 4.0, 6+), iHeartMedia Classic Hits “94.1 KODJ” improves by a full-share to 5.0 (eighth to sixth, 6+).
In the Broadway Media cluster, CHR KUDD “Mix 105.1” is +1.1 (3.3 – 4.4, #11 to #8, 6+); Alternative KXRK “X-96” is also +1.1 (3.0 – 4.1, #13 to #9, 6+); Adult Hits sibling KYMV “Bob” is +1.3 (2.7 – 4.0, #16 to #10, 6+); and co-owned Classic Country KNAH “101.5 Hank FM” doubles “Holiday” 2025’s 1.4 (2.8, +1.4, #14, 6+).
With their 6+ “Holiday” 2025 rank in parentheses, these Cumulus Media-owned/Salt Lake City stations did not subscribe to the January 2026 sweep and are thus unlisted: Rock KBER (sixth); Country KUBL (tenth); Adult Contemporary KBEE (#11); and CHR KENZ (#16).
Las Vegas
Notwithstanding it sheds nearly four full-shares (10.2 – 6.3, -3.9, 6+), iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary KSNE “Sunny 106.5” threepeats at #1. Prior to slipping to second in November, “Sunny” – which was a combined +3.9 the two previous survey periods (6.3 – 8.7 – 10.2, 6+) – held the lead the previous 13 sweeps.
Including January 2026’s +1.1, Beasley Broadcast Group-owned KCYE “102.7 Coyote Country” (#15 to #10) is in an alternating down/up pattern that began in October 2025: 2.0 – 1.9 – 2.7 – 2.0 – 3.1 (6+).
Orlando
On the heels of more than tripling its 6+-topline (a stunning net +14.1) in four straight upticks (6.8 – 6.9 – 8.1 – 14.5 – 21.0, 6+), iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary WMGF falls back to earth, eroding by -10.2 to 10.8 (6+). Even so, “Magic 107.7” is #1 the third time in succession.
Two Cox Media Group outlets flaunt sweep-to-sweep gains of more than two full-shares: Classic Rock “98.9 WMMO” is +2.4 (5.4 – 7.8, steady in third-place, 6+), while Urban AC WCFB “Star 94.5” is +2.1 (4.4 – 6.5, sixth to fourth, 6+). WMMO was an overall -2.9 in three straight losses (8.3 – 6.9 – 6.6 – 5.4, 6+); “Star” was -2.3 in “Holiday” 2025 (6.7 – 4.4, 6+).
Leaping by +1.4 and +1.5, respectively, are Audacy Classic Hits WOCL “Sunny 105.9” (7.1 – 8.5, unchanged in second-place, 6+) and iHeartMedia News/Talk WTKS “Real Radio 104.1” (4.0 – 5.5, ninth to sixth, 6+).
Cincinnati
After having deflated by a combined -2.4 (7.7 – 7.4 – 5.3, 6+), Hubbard Broadcasting’s Country-formatted WUBE roars back with a combined +4.4 in “Holiday” 2025 and January 2026 (5.3 – 6.2 – 9.7, 6+), registering its best 6+-stat (9.7) since May 2025’s 10.2. Moreover, “B-105.1” flies from fourth to first, succeeding Cumulus Media Adult Contemporary WRRM “Warm 98.5,” which is unlisted (see below).
Down or flat the past five survey periods for an overall loss of one full-share (6.2 – 6.2 – 5.8 – 5.4 – 5.2 – 5.2, 6+), WUBE’s Hot AC cluster-mate, WKRQ “Q-102,” posts a January spike twice that size (7.2, +2.0, fifth to third, 6+).
Owing to a +1.0, iHeartMedia-owned WKRC “55 KRC The Talk Station” completely erases the full-share it lost in three straight slips (3.8 – 3.5 – 3.1 – 2.8, 6+).
With their 6+ “Holiday” 2025 rank in parentheses, these Cumulus Media-owned/Cincinnati stations did not subscribe to the January 2026 sweep and are thus unlisted: Adult Contemporary WRRM (first); Classic Hits WGRR (second); Classic Rock WOFX (seventh); Rock WFTK (#13); and Country WNNF (#20).
Cleveland
A mammoth net +10.2 in three straight bumps (9.6 – 9.9 – 14.9 – 19.8, 6+), iHeartMedia Classic Hits WMJI craters by exactly 50% (-9.9 to 9.9, 6+). Even so, “Majic 105.7” is #1 the seventh straight survey period.
Frozen on 5.4 (6+) the past two sweeps, Audacy Sports Talk/Browns flagship WKRK “92.3 The Fan” erupts with a +1.9 to 7.3 (sixth to fourth, 6+). The former was off a full-share in “Holiday” 2025. Kent State University News/Talk WKSU is +1.5 (3.7 – 5.2, steady at #9, 6+), while Rubber City Radio Group’s Country-formatted WQMX “FM 94.9” adds a full-share (1.5 – 2.5, #16 to #12, 6+).
Kansas City
Over and above trending a consistent 6.7 – 6.3 – 6.7 – 6.5 (November 2025 – January 2026, 6+), Northwestern Media-owned Contemporary Christian KJNW “Life 88.5” rises from third to first. KJNW succeeds Cumulus Media-owned KCMO-FM “94.9 Kansas City’s Greatest Hits,” which set the pace 21 straight times, but is unlisted this survey period (see below).
A collective -1.9 the past three sweeps (4.6 – 3.9 – 3.6 – 2.7, 6+), Audacy News/Talk “98.1 KMBZ-FM” answers with a +2.6 to 5.3, its best 6+-stat since June 2025’s 5.4. KMBZ-FM rockets from #15 to #3.
Owing to a full-share increase to 3.7 (#15 to #7, 6+), University of Missouri – Kansas City News/Talk “89.3 KCUR” halts four straight down or flat trends that resulted in a modest net drop of six-tenths (3.3 – 3.1 – 3.1 – 3.0 – 2.7, 6+). This (3.7) is KCUR’s best 6+-showing since April 2025 (4.1).
With their 6+ “Holiday” 2025 rank in parentheses, these Cumulus Media-owned/Kansas City stations did not subscribe to the January 2026 sweep and are thus unlisted: Classic Hits KCMO-FM (first); Classic Rock KCFX (second); Alternative KCJK (#11); News/Talk KCMO-AM (#18); and Urban AC KMJK (#19).
Columbus
Including its January 2026 +2.4, iHeartMedia Country-formatted “92.3 WCOL” continues an alternating up/down pattern that began in September: 6.3 – 7.0 – 6.8 – 7.4 – 5.8 – 8.2 (6+). Moreover, WCOL vaults from sixth to first with its best 6+-stat (8.2) since July 2025’s 8.6. Departing the top spot after back-to-back stays there is WCOL’s Adult Hits sibling, WODC “93.3 The Bus” (13.2 – 8.0 – 5.2, first to second, 6+). “The Bus” had logged three straight spikes for a net +7.3 (5.9- 6.5 – 11.9 – 13.2, 6+).
Also in the iHeartMedia cluster, with a +1.9 to 7.7 (sixth to third, 6+) CHR WNCI “97.9 Columbus’ Hit Music” pulls the plug on five straight down or flat sweeps that resulted in a net -2.2 (8.0 – 8.0 – 7.7 – 6.9 – 6.1 – 5.8, 6+).
Somewhat similarly, in light of its full-share increase to 3.9 (#11 to #9, 6+), Ohio State University-owned WOSU “89.7 NPR News” curtails four consecutive sweeps without an increase that yielded a net loss of seven-tenths (3.6 – 3.5 – 3.5 – 3.2 – 2.9, 6+).
Round Four
Austin
It’s a “Holiday” 2025-only stay at #1 for Audacy Adult Contemporary KKMJ, which plummets to sixth-place (10.9 – 4.4, -5.5, 6+).“Majic 95.5” had been a combined +6.3 in December and “Holiday” 2025 (4.6 – 8.6 – 10.9, 6+). University of Texas at Austin-owned News/Talk “KUT 90.5” – which spent five straight sweeps at #1 before being dislodged in “Holiday” by KKMJ – returns to the penthouse (10.8, +1.7, second to first, 6+). KUT was an overall +2.6 in seven consecutive up or flat months (8.7 – 8.9 – 8.9 – 9.6 – 9.6 – 10.7 – 10.9 – 11.3, 6+), but cratered by two full-shares in December to 9.1 (6+).
Including January 2026’s +1.1, Waterloo Media Group Adult Hits KBPA “103.5 Bob FM ” nets two full-shares through three straight surges (7.8 – 8.1, 8.7, 9.8, third to second, 6+); “Bob” last reached the nine-share mark in July 2025 (9.7, 6+).
Adding a full-share to “Holiday” 2025’s gain of three-tenths (3.8 – 4.1 – 5.1, 6+), iHeartMedia’s Country-formatted “KASE 100.7” jumps from sixth to third.
Raleigh
Not only is North Carolina at Chapel Hill News/Talk WUNC in double-digits (6+) the third time in the last four survey periods and +1.8 in January (10.2 – 10.3 – 9.6 – 11.4, 6+), “North Carolina Public Radio” is #1 the tenth time in a row. Immediately prior to surrendering seven-tenths this time last month, WUNC was a net +1.7 the previous three sweeps (8.6 – 9.1 – 10.2 – 10.3, 6+).
Owing to a +1.6 to 5.0 (#12 to #9, 6+), iHeartMedia’s WTKK “Real News – Real Talk” wipes away in-full its overall -1.7 in three straight drops (5.1 – 4.5 – 3.7 – 3.4, 6+).
Three consecutive increases by Curtis Media Group Adult Hits WBBB netted a collective +1.8; however, “96.1 BBB” has now spiraled by a combined three full-shares in December and “Holiday” 2025 (7.7 – 6.7 – 4.7, fifth to tenth, 6+).
Indianapolis
In addition to being a combined +2.6 in “Holiday” 2025 and January 2026 (5.1 – 6.7 – 7.7, 6+), iHeartMedia Classic Rock WFBQ advances from second to a first-place tie. After reaping a +1.7 through three consecutive spikes (5.1 – 5.2 – 5.9 – 6.8, 6+), “Q-95” slumped in December by -1.7 to 5.1 (6+). As a result of a January +1.9 to 7.7 (6+), Urban One-owned WIBC not only recaptures approximately three-quarters of its combined -2.5 the past two survey periods (8.3 – 8.0 – 5.8, 6+), “93.1 Indy’s News Center” leaps from fourth to tie WFBQ at #1.
Meanwhile, following four straight sweeps at #1, WIBC’s Adult Contemporary sibling – WYXB – sputters by nearly eight shares (13.7 – 5.7, -7.9, 6+) and shifts to fourth. “B-105.7” was a net +3.9 via three straight upticks (6.9 – 7.1 – 9.7 – 10.8, 6+), but relinquished six-tenths in December (10.8 – 10.2, 6+).
With their 6+ “Holiday” 2025 rank in parentheses, these Cumulus Media-owned/Indianapolis stations did not subscribe to the January 2026 sweep and are thus unlisted: Classic Hits WJJK (fifth); CHR WZPL (eighth); Country WFMS (tied at ninth); Hot AC WNTR (tied at ninth); and Rock WNDX (#17).
Milwaukee
The truly wild ride for iHeartMedia-owned WISN continues. Before segueing to the runner-up slot this time last month, “News/Talk 1130” was #1 an astonishing 29 consecutive times. A combined -2.2 in December and “Holiday” 2025 (9.8 – 8.4 – 7.6, 6+), WISN roars back with a +2.5 in January 2026 (7.6 – 10.1, 6+) and regains the top slot. Co-owned Adult Contemporary WRNW (11.2 – 4.1, -7.1, 6+) is ousted after its “Holiday” 2025-only residency at #1 and spirals to ninth. In mid-October, “B-97.3” flipped from Sports Talk back to Adult Contemporary (its format from 1985 – 2004) and more than quintupled its 6+-topline for a massive +9.1 (2.1 – 6.7, +4.6 – 11.2, 6+).
Owing to a +1.6 to 6.8 (fifth to third, 6+), Saga Communications’ Rock WHQC “102.9 The Hog” pulls the plug on four straight backslides that accounted for a -1.1 (6.3 – 5.8 – 5.6 – 5.3 – 5.2, 6+).
Improving by +1.6, as well, is iHeartMedia-owned WMIL (6.3, seventh to fifth, 6+). “FM 106.1 Milwaukee’s Best Country” was a collective -1.5 via three consecutive drops (6.2 – 5.8 – 5.2 – 4.7, 6+).
Nashville

Bouncing back dramatically from “Holiday” 2025’s loss of one full-share (5.0 – 4.0, 6+), Nashville Public Radio-owned News/Talk WPLN posts a January surge nearly three times that magnitude (4.0 – 6.9, +2.9, 6+) and zooms from eighth to third.
Educational Media Foundation Contemporary Christian WLVU “K-Love 97.1” (3.8 – 5.4, tenth to fifth, 6+) and iHeartMedia’s WLAC “Talk Radio 98.3 & 1510” (2.1 – 3.2, #16 to #10, 6+) gain +1.6 and +1.1, respectively.

Providence
As a result of a January 2026 increase of nine-tenths, iHeartMedia Classic Hits WWBB continues an alternating up/down pattern (6.3 – 7.4 – 7.0 – 7.9, November 2025 – January 2026, 6+); furthermore, “B-101” jumps from fourth to first. With their 6+ “Holiday” 2025 rank in parentheses, these Cumulus Media-owned/Providence stations did not subscribe to the January 2026 sweep and are thus unlisted: Adult Contemporary WWLI (first); CHR WPRO-FM (second); News/Talk WPRO-AM (sixth); and Rhythmic CHR WWKX (#12).

“Holiday” 2025’s #1 deadlock between Audacy siblings is broken in a major way: Urban AC WVKL “95-7 R&B” is +1.7 (11.6 – 13.3, #1 the 13th straight time, 6+), while co-owned Adult Contemporary WWDE “101.3 2WD” falters by -6.3 (11.6 – 5.3, first to third, 6+). WVKL’s gain of four-tenths in December halted a string of three straight dips accounting for a net -1.0 (10.9 – 10.6 – 10.1 – 9.9, 6+). WWDE had been an overall +6.8 in four consecutive sweeps without a loss (4.8 – 5.1 – 5.1 – 7.9 – 11.6, 6+).
Ballooning by +1.5 each are Sinclair’s WNIS “News Talk 790” (3.2 – 4.7, ninth to fourth, 6+) and Audacy Hot AC WPTE “94.9 The Point” (3.1 – 4.6, tenth to seventh, 6+).
There’s an interesting scenario between the market’s two Country-formatted operations. This time last month, Sinclair’s WUSH “US 106.1”(4.5 – 3.1, 6+) and Max Media-owned WGH-FM “97.3 The Eagle” (3.5 – 2.1, 6+) each plummeted by -1.4. In January 2026, however, “US 106.1” is +1.1 to 4.2 (6+) and remains in tenth-place, while “The Eagle” is +1.6 to 3.7 (#16 to 11, 6+).
Jacksonville
Although off -3.7 to 10.2 (6+), Renda Media Adult Contemporary “96.1 WEJZ” threepeats at #1. WEJZ had been a combined +5.8 the past two survey periods (8.1 – 10.9 – 13.9, 6+).
Adding a +1.3 to “Holiday” 2025’s full-share increase (5.1 – 6.1 – 7.4, 6+), Educational Media Foundation Contemporary Christian WJKV “K-Love 90.9” continues in fourth-place. On the heels of plunging by -2.2 to 5.2 (6+) in “Holiday” 2025, iHeartMedia Urban Contemporary WJBT makes up all but four-tenths of that loss (7.0, +1.8, seventh to fifth, 6+). In December, “93.3 The Beat” improved by +1.3 to 7.4 ( 6+), recording its third straight sweep without a loss for a net +1.8 (5.6 – 5.6 – 6.1 – 7.4, 6+).
Notching upticks of +1.3 and one full-share, respectively, are WJCT, Inc.’s WJCT “News 89.9” (5.4 – 6.7, unchanged in sixth-place, 6+) and Cox Media Group-owned WOKV-FM “104.5 Jacksonville’s News & Talk” (3.8 – 4.8, tenth to ninth, 6+).
West Palm Beach
Finally snapped is the string of seven successive surges by WEAT that yielded a mammoth net +14.3 (4.9 – 5.3 – 6.6 – 8.8 – 11.6 – 13.3 – 14.5 – 19.2, 6+). Even though “Sunny 107.9” regresses by -6.3 to 12.9 (6+), the Hubbard Broadcasting Classic Hits facility remains #1 the fifth time in succession. WEAT’s “Holiday” 2025 19.2 is the market’s loftiest 6+-stat in the PPM-era.
WEAT’s Urban AC sibling – WMBX – is working on a streak of its own. Including January’s whopping +2.3, “X-102.3” has nearly doubled (net +4.5) its 6+-topline in five consecutive up or flat trends (4.8 – 5.6 – 6.4 – 7.0 – 7.0 – 9.3, 6+) and is steady in the runner-up slot.
Immediately after posting a half-share increase (4.7 – 5.2, 6+), Miami-Dade County Public Schools-owned News/Talk WLRN forfeits one full-share to 4.2 (fourth to seventh, 6+).
Greensboro
Having set the pace 11 straight months, Audacy Urban AC WQMG downshifted to the runner-up slot in December; however, “97.1 QMG” returns to #1 and is in double-digits the 61st straight time (11.0 – 12.1, +1.1, 6+). Not only does iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary WMAG’s stay at #1 conclude after back-to-back-sweeps, “Mix 99.5” sees its 6+-stat carved in half (21.5 – 10.7, -10.8, first to second, 6+). As a result of five consecutive upticks, “Mix” racked up a staggering net +16.0 (5.5 – 6.7 – 7.2 – 8.3 – 18.4 – 21.5, 6+) and claimed the highest 6+ topline by any PPM-market station in December 2025 (18.4) and “Holiday” 2025 (21.5).
An overall -2.4 in three straight decreases (10.4 – 9.1 – 9.0 – 8.0, 6+), Audacy Adult Hits WSMW “Simon 98.7” posts a +1.5 to 9.5 (fourth to third, 6+). Co-owned Country WPAW “93.1 The Wolf,” a collective -2.3 in three successive losses (6.0 – 5.1 – 4.8 – 3.7, 6+), erases nearly half that deficit with a +1.1 to 4.8 (6+) and continues in seventh place.
Also bumping up by +1.1 (3.6, unchanged at #8, 6+) is iHeartMedia News/Talk “94.5 WPTI,” which ends three straight dips that resulted in an overall -1.6 (4.1 – 3.5 – 2.7 – 2.5, 6+).
Memphis
The four most recent (6+) fluctuations by iHeartMedia Urban AC KJMS have been: -1.2 (November); +.5 (December); -1.0 (“Holiday” 2025); and -1.8 in January 2026 (14.1 – 12.3, 6+). “V-101” is #1 the 27th straight time.
On the heels of “Holiday” 2025’s gigantic +2.8 (3.8 – 6.6, 6+), Audacy-owned/Country-formatted WLFP “99.7 The Wolf” tacks on a +1.7 to 8.3 (fifth to fourth, 6+).
A +1.6 to 3.6 (eighth to seventh, 6+) by iHeartMedia CHR WEGR “102.7 Kiss FM” completely expunges its collective -1.5 via six straight – albeit modest – setbacks (3.5 – 3.3 – 3.0 – 2.7 – 2.1 – 2.0, 6+).
Hartford
Although it erodes by nearly eight full-shares (19.4 – 11.5, -7.9, 6+), Audacy Adult Contemporary WRCH continues leading the pack for the 20th sweep in a row. “Lite 100.5” had been a net +9.0, owing to three straight surges (10.4 – 10.7 – 15.1 – 19.4, 6+).
Logging a “Holiday” 2025 – January 2026 +1.2 are: iHeartMedia’s WWYZ “Country 92.5” (8.2 – 9.4, steady in the runner-up slot, 6+); CHR sibling WKSS “Kiss 95.7” (5.6 – 6.8, fifth to third, 6+); and Connecticut Public Broadcasting-owned News/Talk WNPR “Connecticut Public Radio” (5.0 – 6.2, eighth to sixth, 6+).
Carrying on in tenth place, Red Wolf Broadcasting Corporation Alternative WMRQ “Radio 104.1” is a combined +1.3 the past two sweeps (2.5 – 2.8 – 3.8, 6+).
