Shown here are my takeaways based on Nielsen Audio’s 6+ total week stats from the June 2025 ratings period (May 29 – June 25).
Round One
New York
After trending 8.2 – 8.0 – 7.8 – 8.0 (February 2025 – May 2025, 6+), iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary WLTW drops one-half share to 7.5 (June 2025, 6+). Nonetheless, “106.7 Lite FM” is #1 the 34th consecutive time. With a gain of six-tenths to 4.9 (eighth to sixth, 6+), New York Public Radio News/Talk WNYC-FM pulls the plug on four consecutive downturns that resulted in a net loss of nine-tenths (5.2 – 4.9 – 4.7 – 4.4 – 4.3, 6+). All three Spanish Contemporary-formatted outlets appearing in June 2025’s top twenty register month-to-month increases: Spanish Broadcasting System-owned WPAT-FM “93.1 Amor” (2.3 – 2.6, +.3, #15 to #14, 6+); Univision’s WXNY “La X 96.3” fully erases May’s half-share slip (2.2 – 1.7 – 2.2, #18 to #16, 6+); and Emmis– owned WEPN-FM “La Exitosa 98.7” (1.4 – 1.6, +.2, 6+) reaches the top twenty at #19. Prior to September 1, 2024, WEPN-FM was Sports Talk.
Los Angeles
May 2025’s first-place tie is resolved via the combination of Audacy Classic Hits KRTH “K-Earth 101” improving by seven-tenths (5.9 – 6.6, 6+) and iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary “KOST 103.5” dropping three-tenths (5.9 – 5.6, 6+). KOST had reigned the past seven sweeps, but segues to second, while “K-Earth” repeats at #1. This (5.6) marks KOST’s lowest 6+-showing since November 2024’s 4.7. Scoring gains of one-half share each are Audacy Smooth AC KTWV “94.7 The Wave” (4.0 – 4.5, eighth to fourth, 6+); co-owned Alternative “106.7 KROQ” (2.6 – 3.1, #15 to #12, 6+); and Santa Monica Community College District’s News/Talk/eclectic music mix hybrid KCRW (1.7 – 2.2, #18, 6+). Spanish Broadcasting SystemRegional Mexican KLAX “97.9 La Raza” collapses by one full-share (3.9 – 2.9, #10 to #14, 6+), with 2.9 its weakest 6+-stat since September 2024 (2.9, as well).
Chicago
This time last month, iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary WLIT “93.9 Lite FM” held a slim one-tenth lead over (#2) Hubbard Broadcasting-owned Classic Rock WDRV “97.1 The Drive.” By adding one-half share (5.3 – 5.8, 6+), however, “The Drive” advances from second to first. Simultaneously, “Lite FM” surrenders six-tenths (5.4 – 4.8, 6+) and – after back-to-back months at #1 – flips to the runner-up slot. This marks WDRV’s fourth straight sweep without a loss for a collective +1.1 (4.7 – 5.1 – 5.3 – 5.3 – 5.8, 6+). As Cumulus Media-owned WLS-FM “94.7 Chicago’s Classic Hits” records a +.8 (3.9 – 4.7, eighth to fourth, 6+), iHeartMedia Urban Contemporary “107.5 WGCI-FM” recoils by one-half share (2.9 – 2.4, #14 to #16, 6+). This (4.7) is the best 6+ performance for “Chicago’s Classic Hits” since December 2024 (also 4.7); “WGCI-FM” was stuck on 2.8 (6+) in January; February; March; and April.
San Francisco
Converting May 2025’s -1.0 into a whopping June 2015 +1.7 (10.6 – 9.6 – 11.3, 6+), KQED Inc.-owned public News/Talk KQED is #1 the sixthstraight month. KQED entered the May 2025 sweep a combined +.9 in March and April (9.7 – 10.5 – 10.6, 6+). In addition to KQED, Bonneville International Adult Contemporary KOIT-FM “96.5 – Better Music For A Better Workday” (5.5 – 6.5, +1.0, steady in third-place, 6+) and Audacy-owned KUFX “98.5 The South Bay’s Classic Rock” (1.7 – 2.8, +1.1, #20 to #12, 6+) boast month-to-month upticks of at least one full share. KUFX’s format rival – Cumulus Media-owned KSAN “107.7 The Bone” – surrenders six-tenths (3.3 – 2.7, #11 to #14, 6+). Bonneville International CHR KMVQ “99.7 Now” is a combined -1.0 the past two survey periods (4.1 – 3.8 – 3.1, fifth to tenth, 6+).
Dallas
As was the case this time last month, two-tenths separates first- and second-place with Cumulus Media cluster-mates once again holding down the top two spots. June 2025’s twist is that Country-formatted KPLX “99.5 The Wolf” (4.8 – 5.3, +.5, fourth to first, 6+) overtakes co-owned KTCK “Sports Radio The Ticket” (5.9 – 5.1, -.8, back-to-back months at #1 to #2, 6+). KPLX’s similarly-formatted sibling – KSCS “New Country 96.3” – forfeits seven-tenths (5.7 – 5.0, second to third, 6+). KSCS had been a net +1.8 via four improvements in succession (3.9 – 4.4 – 4.9 – 5.4 – 5.7, 6+). It was a rough month for the market’s two Sports Talk outlets. In addition to “The Ticket” being off by eight-tenths, Audacy’s KRLD “105.3 The Fan” (Texas Rangers) declines by six-tenths (3.2 – 2.6, #13 to #18, 6+). At the same time when iHeartMedia Classic Rock KZPS “Lone Star 92.5” improves by six-tenths (3.4 – 4.0, #12 to #8, 6+), CHR cluster-mate KHKS “106.1 Kiss-FM” falters by -1.0 (4.9 – 3.9, third to ninth, 6+).
Houston
Notwithstanding that it’s down a combined four-tenths the past two months (7.7 – 7.6 – 7.3, 6+), iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary KODA “Sunny 99.1” sets the pace the 11th sweep in a row. Continuing an alternating down/up pattern that began way back in September 2024 and includes June 2025’s massive +1.7 (6.9 – 6.0 – 6.1 – 5.9 – 6.3 – 6.0 – 6.4 – 5.6 – 5.7 – 5.4 – 7.1, 6+), Hope Media Group Contemporary Christian KSBJ “89.3 God Listens” progresses from third to second. Regional Mexican-formatted stations finished at #18, #19, and #20 in the May 2025 survey period. In a genuine case of a (double) ratings irony, that not only happens again – it’s the same three stations in the same order. Moreover, mirroring what happened in May, all three are down month-to-month. Specifically, Estrella Media’s KQQK “El Norte 107.9” is flat at #18 (2.7 – 2.4, -.3, 6+); Univision-owned KLTN “Que Buena 102.9” (2.5 – 2.3, -.2, unchanged at #19); and Estrella Media’s KTJM “La Raza” (2.4 – 2.2, -.2, flat at #20, 6+). In May 2025, “El Norte 107.9” was -.2; “Que Buena 102.9” was down eight-tenths; and “La Raza” was -1.0.
Atlanta
Off a combined three-tenths entering the June 2025 sweep (8.0 – 7.8 – 7.7, 6+), Cox Media Group’s WSRV “Classic Hits 97.1 The River” busts out a half-share increase to 8.2 (6+) and is #1 the fourth consecutive sweep. This (8.2) is the finest 6+-stat for “The River” in exactly one year (8.2, June 2024, as well). Tied in ninth place are Educational Media FoundationContemporary Christian WAIA “Air One,” which is +1.5 (2.0 – 3.5, #19 to #9, 6+) and iHeartMedia Country WUBL “94.9 The Bull,” which conversely is -1.2 (4.7 – 3.5, seventh to ninth, 6+). WAIA cratered by -1.9 in April (3.5 – 1.6, 6+); “The Bull” was a combined +1.3 in back-to-back sweeps (3.4 – 4.0 – 4.7, March – April – May, 6+).
Philadelphia
Although it stumbles by nine-tenths (9.2 – 8.3, 6+), Beasley Broadcast Group’s WMGK “Classic Rock 102.9 MGK” is on top the fourth successive month. iHeartMedia Alternative WRFF “Alt 104.5” adds seven-tenths to May 2025’s one-tenth increase (2.6 – 2.7 – 3.4, 6+) and advances from #14 to #11. For the second month in a row, two Philly outlets plummet by eight-tenths: In June 2025, it’s iHeartMedia Urban AC WDAS-FM “Philly’s Best R&B and Classic Soul” dipping to 5.7 (third to fourth, 6+) and Educational Media Foundation Contemporary Christian WKVP “106.9 K-Love” checking in at 2.4 (#12 to #16, 6+). WDAS-FM has its third straight sweep without a gain for a net -1.5 (7.2 – 6.5 – 6.5 – 5.7, 6+). Since appearing in the top twenty in January 2025, WKVP’s (6+) topline is: 3.0 – 2.9 – 2.9 – 2.7 – 3.2 – 2.4 (6+).
Nassau-Suffolk (Long Island)
Following three impressive back-to-back-to-back +1.3 improvements (2.6 – 3.9 – 5.2 – 6.5, 6+), Red Apple Media-owned News/Talk “77 WABC” tacks on a modest +.2 to 6.7 (6+) and repeats at #1. Up two-tenths in May (4.3 – 4.5, 6+), Cox Media Group Classic Rock “102.3 WBAB” surrenders a -1.1 to 3.4 (6+) and remains flat in tenth-place. In a rarity, the internet stream of Spanish Broadcasting System Spanish Tropical WSKQ “Mega 97.7” (2.1, #15, 6+) outpoints the station’s main FM signal (1.4 – 1.3, -.1, flat at #20, 6+). The (6+) topline for WSKQ’s internet stream is: .2 – .5 – and June’s +1.6 jump to 2.1.
Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario
Down a combined four-tenths the past two sweeps (10.2 – 9.9 – 9.8, 6+), Entravision Spanish Adult Hits KLYY “Jose” is nonetheless #1 the sixthstraight month. Univision Spanish Adult Hits KRCD “Recuerdo” has more than tripled (net +1.3) its 6+-stat via four consecutive gains (.5 – .6 – .9 – 1.1 – 1.8, #15 to #12, 6+). Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa-owned Religious KWVE “K-Wave” debuts at #17 (.8, 6+). Eroding by -1.3 and -1.2, respectively, are Univision Spanish Contemporary KLVE “K-Love 107.5” (6.5 – 5.2, second to third, 6+) and iHeartMedia Rhythmic CHR “99.1 KGGI” (3.8 – 2.6, fourth to eighth, 6+).
San Jose
Powered by a +1.1 (4.4 – 5.5, 6+), Bonneville International Adult Contemporary KOIT-FM “Better Music For A Better Workday” vaults from sixth to first. Displaced from the top spot after a May 2025-only stay is Univision Regional Mexican KSOL “Que Buena” (5.4 – 4.5, -.9, first to fourth, 6+). KOIT-FM was San Jose’s #1 station (6+) from December 2024 through March 2025. After a modest May 2025 gain of two-tenths, Cumulus Media News/Talk “810 KSFO” follows with a +1.0 (2.2 – 2.4 – 3.4, #14 to #9, 6+). Having notched six upticks in succession for a net +2.1 (2.7 – 3.0 – 3.7 – 3.9 – 4.1 – 4.6 – 4.8, 6+), iHeartMedia Hot AC KIOI “Star 101.3” regresses by nine-tenths to 3.9 (third to sixth, 6+).
Middlesex-Somerset-Union
The third straight boost by Spanish Broadcasting System Spanish Tropical WSKQ is a whopping +1.9. “Mega 97.7” is a net +3.1 in that stretch (4.3 – 4.9 – 5.5 – 7.4, 6+) and leaps from fourth to first. It takes over at #1 from Audacy Classic Hits WCBS-FM “New York’s Greatest Hits,” which – after back-to-back months at the top – segues to #3. WCBS-FM’s -.4 to 5.8 (6+) curtails five straight gains that accounted for a collective +1.6 (4.6 – 4.9 – 5.1 – 5.4 – 5.7 – 6.2, 6+). A one-half share fluctuation is good news for Beasley Broadcast Group Adult Contemporary WMGQ “Magic 98.3” (4.8 – 5.3, +.5, sixth to fifth, 6+). Conversely, three outlets here sputter by that margin: Audacy-owned/Yankees flagship WFAN “Sports Radio The Fan” (3.5 – 3.0, ninth to tenth, 6+); iHeartMedia Rhythmic CHR WKTU “103.5 KTU” (2.5 – 2.0, #13 to #14); and Press Communications-owned Country WKMK “Thunder 106” (2.1 – 1.6, #15 to #17, 6+). Entering the June 2025 sweep, WFAN had posted three increases in a row for a net +1.4 (2.1 – 2.2 – 2.7 – 3.5, 6+).
Round Two
Washington, DC
Not only is News/Talk WAMU “88.5 American University Radio” #1 the 11th sweep in succession, it gains one-half share to 12.7, its strongest 6+-stat since January 2025’s 13.4. In addition to claiming the runner-up slot in each of WAMU’s 11 consecutive #1 showings, Hubbard Broadcasting’s “WTOP News” has been in double-digits (6+) in the last seven survey periods. That includes June 2025 with WTOP registering a full-shareincrease to 11.7, matching its February 2025 topline. Also in the spoken-word arena, the last four (6+) fluctuations for Cumulus Media News/Talk “105.9 FM WMAL” have been: +.8 (February – March); -.6 (March – April); +1.0 (April – May); and -1.0 (5.1 – 4.1, May – June, fifth to seventh, 6+). After trending 1.8 – 1.9 – 1.6 (March – April – May, 6+), Audacy Spanish Tropical WLZL “El Zol 107.9 FM” erupts with a +1.0 to 2.6 (#17 to #15, 6+).
Boston
Even though WMJX “Magic 106.7” has its second straight dip of one-tenth (5.9 – 5.8 – 5.7, 6+), the Audacy Adult Contemporary outlet is #1 the fifth time in a row. This time though, “Magic” isn’t in sole possession of the top spot. A combined -.9 in three successive declines (6.2 – 5.8 – 5.6 – 5.3, 6+), iHeartMedia News – Talk hybrid WBZ-AM “News Radio 1030” picks up four-tenths to 5.7 (6+) to progress from second to a first-place tie with WMJX. In the “Holiday” 2024 sweep, Beasley Broadcast Group’s WBZ-FM “98.5 The Sports Hub” (Celtics, Bruins) had a 5.5-share advantage over Audacy-owned/Red Sox flagship WEEI-FM “93.7 Boston’s Sports Original.” WBZ-FM went on to become the market’s #1 station (6+) in January 2025. This time last month, WEEI-FM finally caught up with WBZ-FM – each notched a 4.6 (#8, 6+). In June, WEEI-FM picks up three-tenths (4.6 – 4.9, eighth-seventh, 6+) to claim a nine-tenths advantage over “The Sports Hub” (4.6 – 4.0, -.6, eighth to ninth, 6+). As a result of three consecutive increases, Beasley Broadcast Group Rhythmic Hot AC WBQT “Hot 96.9” is a net +.9 (3.0 – 3.3 – 3.4 – 3.9, #13 to #11, 6+).
Miami
Five losses in a row by WHQT “Hot 105” resulted in a net -2.6 (9.1 – 8.9 – 8.5 – 7.5 – 6.8 – 6.5, 6+); however, the Cox Media Group Urban AC rebounds with a +.4 to 6.9 (6+) to advance from second to first. That means it’s a May 2025-only stay at #1 for Audacy-owned Adult Contemporary WLYF “101.5 Lite FM” (flat at 6.6, first to second, 6+). Four Spanish Contemporary-formatted stations in June’s top twenty combine for sixteen shares (6+). Moreover, all four are up month-to-month: Univision’s WAMR “Amor 107.5” (4.7 – 5.3, +.6, fifth to fourth, 6+); Spanish Broadcasting System-owned WCMQ “Zeta 92.3” (4.1 – 4.2, +.1, unchanged in seventh-place, 6+); iHeartMedia’s WZTU “Tu 94.9” (3.3 – 3.9, +.6, tenth to ninth, 6+); and Spanish Broadcasting System-owned WRMA “Ritmo 95.7” (2.5 – 2.6, +.1, #19 to #17, 6+). Cox Media Group Rhythmic Hot AC WFLC posts its third straight gain for a combined +1.4, enabling “Hits 97.3” to reach a four-share for the first time since December 2024’s 4.2 (2.6 – 2.9 – 3.2 – 4.0, #11 to #8, 6+).
Seattle
Off one-half share this time last month to 7.5 (6+), University of Washington-owned News/Talk “94.9 KUOW” regains 80% of that loss with a +.4 to 7.9 (6+) and is #1 the sixth month in a row. NoncommercialFriends of KEXP Alternative KEXP follows May’s +.2 with a robust increase of nine-tenths (3.3 – 3.5 – 4.4, 6+) and leaps from #13 to #7. A combined +.9 the past two sweeps (3.4 – 3.7 – 4.3, 6+), iHeartMedia CHR KBKS “Hits 106.1” forfeits all but one-tenth of that gain (3.5, -.8, #7 to #12, 6+).
Detroit
After dropping three-tenths in May, Audacy Sports Talk WXYT-FM “97.1 The Ticket” doubles that loss in June (8.0, -.6, 6+); however, the flagship of the Tigers; Pistons; and Red Wings is #1 the third month in succession. “The Ticket” was a combined +2.7 in March and April (6.2 – 7.6 – 8.9). Also slipping by six-tenths in June are Audacy Country WYCD “99.5 Detroit’s Country” (6.2 – 5.6, fourth to fifth, 6+) and iHeartMedia Urban Contemporary “97.9 WJLB” (3.9 – 3.3, #10 to #12, 6+). WYCD gained one full-share in May. Whereas WXYT-FM; WYCD; and WJLB recorded losses of six-tenths, Stanley & Judith Frankel Family Foundation Classical – Jazz hybrid “90.9 WRCJ” improves by six-tenths (2.6 – 3.2, #17 to #15, 6+).
Phoenix
Despite being a net +2.9 as a result of six consecutive increases (5.4 – 5.6 – 5.8 – 5.9 – 7.5 – 8.1 – 8.3, 6+), Hubbard Broadcasting’s “Classic Rock 100.7 KSLX” must settle for a first-place tie. This is its third straight month at #1: In April, KSLX succeeded iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary KESZ “99.9 KEZ,” which reigned as market leader the previous 21 survey periods. KESZ follows May’s +.1 with a hefty +.9 (7.3 – 7.4 – 8.3, 6+) and – after back-to-back months at #2 – returns to #1 … albeit tied with KSLX. In the market’s Hot AC skirmish, iHeartMedia’s KMXP “Mix 96.9” drops one-half share (3.1, eighth to tenth, 6+), while Riviera Broadcast Group-owned KMVA “Hot” rises by that margin (2.4 – 2.9, #17 to #13, 6+). Posting a +.8 (1.5 – 2.3, 6+) Educational Media Foundation Contemporary Christian KAIZ “Air 1” is part of a five-way tie at #18.
Minneapolis
In back-to-back sweeps, iHeartMedia Sports Talk KFXN is -1.1 and -1.4(10.9 – 9.8 – 8.4, 6+). Nonetheless, “100.3 The Fan” is #1 the sixth straight month. Co-owned Country KEEY “K-102” is without a loss for the sixth survey in succession for a net +2.7 (3.1 – 3.7 – 3.9 – 3.9 – 4.7 – 4.9 – 5.8, 6+). Advancing from a seventh-place tie to sixth “K-102” holds a 3.6-share (6+) advantage over Audacy’s similarly-formatted KMNB “102.9 The Wolf” (2.1 – 2.2, +.1, #15 to #14, 6+).
San Diego
In addition to posting its third straight increase for an overall +1.7 (8.3 – 8.9 – 9.0 – 10.0, 6+), Audacy Classic Hits KXSN “Sunny 98.1” reaches a ten-share (6+) and is #1 the sixth month in a row. Adding eight-tenths to May’s +.1 (3.5 – 3.6 – 4.4, 6+), iHeartMedia-owned KOGO “News Radio 600” jumps from tenth to seventh. As a result of three straight dips (3.1 – 2.8 – 2.5 – 1.8, 6+), Univision Spanish Adult Hits KLQV “Amor 102.9” is a combined -1.3 and falls from #17 to #18.
Tampa
In April, Radio Training Network Contemporary Christian WCIE “The Joy FM” halted (at 46 straight) Cox Media Group Adult Contemporary WDUV’s stranglehold on the top spot by dethroning “Lite Favorites 105.5.” That only lasted one month though with WDUV returning at #1 in May. WCIE is back on top in June, however, as it rebounds from May’s -1.7 with a gain of four-tenths (8.8 – 7.1 – 7.5, second to first, 6+). “Lite Favorites” recoils by -1.3 (8.6 – 7.3, 6+) and segues from first to second. iHeartMediaSpanish Tropical WRUB “Rumba 95.7” surges by +1.4 (1.8 – 3.2, #19 to #12, 6+). On the other hand, WRUB’s Country cluster-mate WFUS “US-103.5” (6.0 – 4.3, third to ninth, 6+) and Cox Media Group Urban AC WTBV “101.5 The Vibe” (4.0 – 2.9, #10 to #15, 6+) plunge by -1.7 and -1.1, respectively. .
Denver
After being down one-tenth in back-to-back sweeps (6.6 – 6.5 – 6.4, 6+), Bonneville International Adult Contemporary KOSI “Real Music Variety” answers with a whopping +1.3 to 7.7 (6+) and is #1 the fourth consecutive month. While Audacy Rhythmic CHR KQKS “KS-107.5” posts a +1.1 (3.8 – 4.9, tenth to sixth 6+), iHeartMedia Classic Rock KRFX “103.5 The Fox” falters by -1.1 (5.3 – 4.2, fifth to eighth, 6+).
Baltimore
A collective +3.2 owing to five straight sweeps without a loss (6.1 – 7.1 – 8.0 – 8.2 – 9.2 – 9.3, 6+), Urban One Urban AC WWIN-FM surrenders a -1.2in June to 8.1 (6+). Nonetheless, “Magic 95.9” is #1 the fifth consecutive month. Concurrent with Hearst Communications’ WIYY “98 Rock” gaining seven-tenths (6.8 – 7.5, third to second, 6+), iHeartMedia Adult Hits WQSR “102.7 Jack FM” regresses by that amount (4.8 – 4.1, sixth to seventh, 6+). This is WIYY’s third straight up or flat sweep for a net +1.3(6.2 – 6.8 – 6.8 – 7.5, 6+).
St. Louis
On top the sixth month in a row, Hubbard Broadcasting’s KSHE “Real Rock Radio” continues an alternating up/down pattern that began in February (9.6 – 10.2 – 9.3 – 9.6 – 9.5, 6+). Ballooning by +1.1 and +1.0, respectively, are Gateway Creative Broadcasting-owned Contemporary Christian KLJY “99.1 Joy FM” (5.7 – 6.8, sixth to third, 6+) and University of Missouri–St. Louis’ News Talk KWMU (3.8 – 4.8, #13 to #8, 6+). Conversely, Radio One Urban AC WFUN “96.3 The Lou” (7.2 – 5.4, third to sixth, 6+) and iHeartMedia Country KSD “93.7 The Bull” (6.4 – 4.8, fourth to eighth, 6+) plummet by -1.8 and -1.6, respectively.
Round Three
Portland
Even though it returns 80% of May’s half-share increase (8.8 – 9.3 – 8.9, -.4, 6+), iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary KKCW “K-103” leads the way for the ninth consecutive survey period. Posting gains of six-tenths each are Alpha Media cluster-mates Triple A KINK “Uniquely Portland” (5.7 – 6.3, unchanged at #5, 6+) and Country KUPL “98.7 The Bull” (3.0 – 3.6, #14 to #10, 6+). Regressing by -1.0 and -1.3, respectively, are All Classical Public Media-owned KQAC “All Classical Radio” (4.0 – 3.0, #8 to #13, 6+) and Mt. Hood Community College’s KMHD “Jazz Radio 89.1.” The latter has lost exactly half its 6+-share (-1.9) via seven straight sweeps without an increase (3.8 – 3.6 – 3.6 – 3.4 – 3.3 – 3.3 – 3.2 – 1.9, 6+).
Charlotte
In addition to boasting a net +3.1 via three increases in succession (5.7 – 6.5 – 8.1 – 8.8, 6+), Beasley Broadcast Group Adult Contemporary WKQC “K-104.7”repeats at #1. May’s whopping +1.5 (5.4 – 6.9, 6+) enables iHeartMedia Adult Hits WLKO to leap from sixth to third; “102.9 The Lake” posts its best 6+-stat since “Holiday” 2024’s 7.9. After registering a full-share May increase, Urban One Hot AC WLNK “Mix 107.9” surrenders all of and additional one-tenth (4.6 – 5.6 – 4.5, -1.1, fifth to ninth, 6+). The market’s two Country outlets are flat month-to-month: Beasley Broadcast Group’s WSOC “Country 103.7” (7.1 – 7.1, remains at #2, 6+) and iHeartMedia’s WKKT “96.9 The Kat” (5.1 – 5.1, ninth to seventh, 6+).
San Antonio
A Cox Media Group property again holds down the top spot: This time it’s “99.5 KISS Rocks San Antonio” (7.7 – 8.4, +.7, second to first, 6+). KISS was #1 in March and April, but dislodged in May by co-owned KSMG, which has a one-month only stay in the penthouse. “Hits 105.3” plummets by -1.3in June and falls from first to third (7.9 – 6.6, 6+). A combined +1.4 in April and May (6.6 – 7.5 – 8.0, 6+), Bonneville International Adult Contemporary KSFI forfeits half that bounty in June (7.3, -.7, 6+) and after back-to-back months at #1 “FM 100.3” slips to the runner-up slot. Taking over at the top is co-owned KRSP “103.5 The Arrow,” which posts its third straight increase for a net +1.7 (5.7 – 5.8 – 6.1 – 7.4, third to first, 6+). Providence
A one-tenth gain (9.1 – 9.2, 6+) is enough to propel Hall Communications’WCTK from second (back) to first. “Cat Country 98.1” was on top in March and April, before being supplanted in May by Cumulus Media Adult Contemporary WWLI “Lite 105,” which now slides to the runner-up slot (9.3 – 8.9, -.4, 6+). “Lite 105” had been a combined -1.6 in March and April (10.0 – 8.8 – 8.4, 6+) before rebounding in May with a +.9.
