Shown here are my takeaways from all 48 PPM-measured markets, based on Nielsen Audio’s 6+ total week stats from the April 2026 ratings period.

Round One

New York

Without a loss the third straight time for an overall +1.1 (7.0 – 7.4 – 7.4 – 8.1, 6+), WLTW “106.7 Lite FM” repeats at #1. Back in January, the iHeartMedia-owned Adult Contemporary outlet was ousted from the top spot, following a remarkable string of 41 straight #1 showings.

Displaying modest gains of three-tenths each are Emmis Spanish Contemporary WEPN-FM “La Exitosa 98.7” (1.7 – 2.0, #19 to #16, 6+) and Univision-owned/similarly-formatted WXNY “La X 96.3” (1.6 – 1.9, #20 to #18, 6+). The December 2025 through March 2026 trend for “La Exitosa” was 1.6 – 1.6 – 1.4 – 1.6 – 1.7 (6+); “La X” had a very similar 1.6 – 1.7 – 1.4 – 1.5 – 1.6 topline in that same period.

Meanwhile, down four-tenths are iHeartMedia CHR WHTZ “Z-100” (5.6 – 5.2, third to fourth, 6+) and MediaCo’s WQHT “Hot 97” (3.1 – 2.7, flat at #14, 6+). This is the 16th consecutive sweep in which “Z-100” is in the five-share range (6+); “Hot 97” had been trending 3.1 – 3.2 – 3.1 (January through March, 6+).

Los Angeles

A combined -7.1 in January and February (13.3 – 6.3 – 6.2, 6+), iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary KOST answers with a net +.9 in March and April (6.2 – 6.5 – 7.1, 6+). Moreover, “Coast 103.5” is #1 the sixth successive ratings period. From September through “Holiday” 2025, “Coast” more than doubled (net +7.8) its 6+-topline (5.5 – 5.7 – 6.5 – 11.2 – 13.3, 6+).

On the strength of an April increase of seven-tenths to 3.5 (6+), Pasadena City College-owned KPCC “LAist 89.3” rockets from #16 to #8. KPCC was locked on 3.1 (6+) in January and February and then lost three-tenths to 2.8 (6+) this time last month.

After trending 4.2 – 4.2 – 4.4 (January – February – March, 6+), Spanish Broadcasting System Regional Mexican KLAX “La Raza 97.9” erodes by -1.2 to 3.2 (6+) and fades from #5 to #13.

Chicago

A combined +1.8, owing to four improvements in succession (4.5 – 5.4 – 5.6 – 6.1 – 6.3, 6+), Audacy Triple A WXRT “93 XRT” repeats at #1.

In the four-share range the last four sweeps (4.0 – 4.6 – 4.4 – 4.3, 6+), Hubbard Broadcasting Classic Rock WDRV “97.1 The Drive” registers a +.8 to 5.1 (sixth to fourth, 6+). “The Drive” last reached a five-share in September 2025 (5.0, 6+).

As a result of four successive down or flat sweeps (12.4 – 5.2 – 5.0 – 5.0 – 4.0, fourth to sixth, 6+), iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary WLIT “93.9 Lite FM” has lost more than two-thirds of its 6+ topline (net -8.4). WLIT was #1 from October through “Holiday” 2025.

San Francisco

Last month’s tie at the top is resolved as KQED Inc.-owned public News/Talk KQED, which sputtered by -1.3 in March (9.9 – 8.6, 6+), improves by six-tenths to 9.2 (6+) and is #1 the fourth straight time. Meanwhile, despite picking up one-tenth (8.6 – 8.7, 6+), Audacy’s KCBS-AM & KFRC “All News 740 & 106.9” has a March-only stay at #1 (albeit a tie) and returns to the runner-up slot.

Posting gains of one-half share each are University of Southern California’s KDFC “Classical California” (3.3 – 3.8, eighth to seventh, 6+) and Spanish Broadcasting System Regional Mexican KRZZ “La Raza 93.3” (2.9 – 3.4, tenth to eighth, 6+). “Classical California” had been a collective -2.4 via six straight sweeps without an increase including March’s loss of one full-share (5.7 – 5.1 – 5.0 – 5.0 – 4.9 – 4.3 – 3.3, 6+). Three decreases in succession by “La Raza 93.3” resulted in a combined -.5 (2.5 – 2.3 – 2.2 – 2.0, 6+), but it’s now a net +1.4 in March and April (2.0 – 2.9 – 3.4, 6+).

Included among the five outlets here registering modest slips of wo-tenths are Bonneville International Adult Contemporary KOIT-FM “Better Music For A Better Workday” (4.8 – 4.6, unchanged in third-place, 6+) and iHeartMedia-owned/similarly-formatted KISQ “98.1 The Breeze” (4.5 – 4.3, fourth to sixth, 6+). With a 9.9 (6+), KOIT-FM was #1 in “Holiday” 2025; via three straight spikes, “The Breeze” had been a net +1.7 (2.8 – 3.6 – 3.7 – 4.5, 6+).

Dallas

Despite having lost a combined nine-tenths in March and April (5.2 – 4.5 – 4.3, 6+), iHeartMedia Hot AC KDMX “Mix 102.9” is #1 the fourth consecutive time.

As a result of five successive sweeps without a loss, Educational Media Foundation Contemporary Christian KYDA “Air 1” has doubled (net +1.7) its 6+ topline (1.9 – 2.3 – 2.6 – 2.6 – 3.4, 6+) and zooms from #15 to #9.

Conversely, co-owned/similarly formatted KLTY not only plunges by -1.3 to 3.2 (6+), “K-Love 94.9” tumbles from a first-place March tie with KDMX to #11. Down four-tenths in January (4.0 – 3.6, 6+), KLTY was a combined +.9 in February and March (3.6 – 4.4 – 4.5, 6+).

Houston

Without an increase the fifth sweep in succession for a net -7.4 (16.4 – 13.3 – 9.7 – 9.0 – 9.0 – 9.0, 6+), iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary KODA “Sunny 99.1” is nevertheless #1 the ninth straight time.

After trending 4.0 – 4.4 – 4.5 – 4.4 (“Holiday” 2025 through March 2026, 6+), iHeartMedia Alternative KTBZ “94.5 The Buzz” erupts with a +1.2 to 5.6 (seventh to third, 6+). “The Buzz” last reached a five-share in October 2025 (5.2, 6+). Essentially reversing March’s -1.1 with an April gain of one full-share (3.5 – 2.4 – 3.4, 6+), Univision Spanish Adult Hits KOVE “Amor 106.5” advances from #15 to #11. “Amor” was an unlisted nonsubscriber in February.

Frozen on 6.6 (6+) in February and March, KKBQ “93-Q” falters by -1.4 to 5.2 (third to sixth, 6+). In three straight sweeps without a loss the Urban One Country outlet was a combined +1.3 (5.3 – 5.8 – 6.6 – 6.6, 6+).

Atlanta

Urban One-owned Urban AC WAMJ had a February-only stay at #1; however, with an April gain of six-tenths (6.9 – 7.5, 6+), “Majic” returns to the top (third to first). In February, it reached a seven-share (6+) for the first time since September’s 7.1. Trading places with WAMJ is Cox Media Group-owned WSB-AM “Atlanta’s News & Talk” (8.5 – 7.0, -1.5, first to third, 6+). After six successive sweeps at #1, WSB-AM fell to third in February, but owing to a massive +1.9 (6.6 – 8.5, 6+), reclaimed top honors in March.

Four successive up or flat trends have resulted in Dickey Broadcasting-owned/Braves flagship WCNN “Sports Radio 680 The Fan” more than doubling (net +1.4) its topline (1.2 – 1.3 – 1.3 – 1.5 – 2.6, #17 to #14, 6+).

Two Radio One cluster-mates regress by six-tenths each: Gospel WPZE “Praise 102.5” (3.5 – 2.9, #8 to #11, 6+) and Urban Rhythmic Oldies WAMJ-HD2 “Classix 102.9” (1.4 – .8, #18 to #19, 6+). “Praise” had been within a 3.0 – 3.7 (6+) in each of the last eight sweeps. From December 2025 through March 2026, “Classix” was trending: 1.0 – 1.3 – 1.0 – 1.2 – 1.4 (6+).

Philadelphia

In addition to adding eight-tenths to March’s +.1 (6.5 – 6.6 – 7.4, 6+), Audacy-owned/Phillies flagship “Sports Radio 94 WIP” progresses from a second-place tie to first. After back-to-back stays at number one, Beasley Broadcast Group Classic Rock WMGK “102.9 MGK” (7.1 – 6.3, -.8, 6+) falls to third. WMGK had been an overall +1.6 via four straight sweeps without a loss (5.5 – 5.9 – 6.6 – 7.1 – 7.1, 6+).

Meanwhile, WMGK’s cluster-mate, “93.3 WMMR Rocks,” all but eliminates March’s -1.3 (7.1 – 5.8, 6+) with an April +1.1 to 6.9 (fifth to second, 6+). WMMR spent a February-only stay at #1with WMGK.

Including April’s -1.1, Educational Media Foundation Contemporary Christian WKVP “K-Love 106.9” is a combined -1.8 the past two sweeps (5.0 – 4.3 – 3.2, #9 to #12, 6+).

Nassau-Suffolk (Long Island)

While it is #1 the fourth straight month, Audacy-owned all-News “1010 WINS at 92.3 FM” is a combined -1.8 in March and April (10.6 – 8.9 – 8.8, 6+). In three consecutive surges, WINS was up a whopping four full-shares (6.6 – 7.0 – 9.2 – 10.6, 6+).

Off one-half share in March (4.3 – 3.8, 6+), WINS’ Hot AC sibling, WNEW “NEW 102.7,” answers by more than tripling that deficit with a +1.7 to 5.5 (6+), leaping from eighth to third.

The sixth straight sweep without an increase by Red Apple Media-owned WABC is a massive -1.6, as “Talk Radio 77” is a net -3.8 since November (8.2 – 6.9 – 6.5 – 6.3 – 6.0 – 6.0 – 4.4, third to eighth, 6+).

Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario

A combined +2.6 in January and February (7.6 – 9.4 – 10.2, 6+), Entravision Spanish Adult Hits KLYY is a net -1.1 in March and April (10.2 – 9.2 – 9.1, 6+); nonetheless, “Jose” is #1 the 17th time in a row. Entering the January sweep, KLYY had been an overall -4.4 (12.0 – 11.4 – 9.1 – 7.6).

Within 2.1 – 2.7 range in each of the last seven sweeps (2.7 – 2.4 – 2.1 – 2.2 – 2.5 – 2.6 – 2.3, 6+), iHeartMedia Rhythmic CHR “99.1 KGGI” hauls out a +1.1 to 3.4 (6+) and climbs from tenth to fifth.

The last three fluctuations by Estrella Media Regional Mexican KRQB “Que Buena 96.1” have been +1.7 (3.2 – 4.9, February, 6+); -1.2 (4.9 – 3.7, March, 6+); and now -1.6 in April (3.7 – 2.1, fifth to ninth, 6+).

San Jose

An overall +2.6 in four successive upticks (4.9 – 6.2 – 7.1 – 7.3 – 7.5, 6+), Univision Spanish Adult Hits KBRG is #1 the third time in the last four months. An unlisted nonsubscriber in February, “Amor 100.3” was also on top in January and March.

Powered by a half-share gain, Audacy Hot AC KLLC “Alice 97.3” advances from #13 to #11 and has a 6+-share between 2.1 – 2.6 for the ninth straight time (2.1 – 2.2 – 2.5 – 2.1 – 2.5 – 2.3 – 2.2 – 2.1 – 2.6, 6+).

On the flipside, Connoisseur Media’s similarly-formatted KEZR “Mix 106.5” surrenders an April -1.3 (4.8 – 3.5, 6+) and slips from fifth to ninth.

Middlesex-Somerset-Union

Although down a combined six-tenths the past two months (8.6 – 8.0 – 8.0, 6+), iHeartMedia Classic Rock WAXQ “Q-104.3” is #1 the fourth  time in a row.

Essentially doubling (net +3.4) its topline in four successive sweeps without a loss (3.3 – 5.1 – 5.1 – 5.7 – 6.7, 6+), Audacy-owned/Brooklyn Nets and Yankees flagship WFAN-FM “Sports Radio The Fan” progresses from fourth to second. After a lengthy absence from the top twenty, Pillar of Fire International Contemporary Christian WAWZ “Star 99.1” resurfaces at #16 (2.2, 6+).

Audacy Urban Contemporary WXBK follows March’s -1.3 with an April decline of seven-tenths (4.4 – 3.1 – 2.4, #11 to #14, 6+). Entering the March sweep, “94.7 The Block” more than doubled (net +2.6) its 6+-topline in three successive increases (1.8 – 2.2 – 3.6 – 4.4, 6+).

Round Two

Washington, DC

Albeit a combined -2.3 in March and April (15.2 – 14.3 – 12.9, 6+), Hubbard Broadcasting-owned all-News WTOP is #1 the 11th straight time and in double-digits (6+) the 18th survey period in a row. In January and February, WTOP was a net +3.9 (11.3 – 13.5 – 15.2, 6+), with February’s 15.2 representing its highest-ever 6+-stat in the PPM-era.

Adding an impressive +1.1 to March’s increase of three-tenths (4.3 – 4.6 – 5.7, 6+), Atlantic Gateway Communications Contemporary Christian “91.9 WGTS” elevates from sixth to third.

After trending 3.6- 3.9 – 3.8 (January – February – March, 6+), iHeartMedia Country-formatted “98.7 WMZQ” relinquishes nine-tenths to 2.9 (6+) and slips from #7 to #11.

Boston

Not only is Boston University-owned WBUR a net +2.6 via five straight sweeps without a loss, including April’s full-share increase (4.0 – 4.0 – 4.5 – 5.2 – 5.6 – 6.6, 6+), “Boston’s NPR News Station” progresses from second to first. The last time WBUR reached the six-share level (6+) was over two years ago (March 2024, 6.4, 6+). After back-to-back stays at #1, Audacy Adult Contemporary WMJX (6.2 – 5.8, -.4, 6+) shifts to fourth-place. “Magic 106.7” had been frozen on 6.2 (6+) the first three survey periods of the year. WMJX held – or shared – #1 honors five straight months before shifting to third in July 2025, and was then #1 last August; September; October; December; and “Holiday” 2025.

An overall -2.5 the past two survey periods (7.6 – 5.3 – 5.1, 6+), Beasley Broadcast Group’s WBZ-FM “98.5 The Sports Hub” posts a +.8 to 5.9 (6+), as the flagship of the Celtics and Bruins jumps from fifth to sixth.

While “The Sports Hub” improves by eight-tenths, WGBH Educational Foundation-owned WCRB “Classical 99.5” (4.9 – 4.1, sixth to eighth, 6+) and iHeartMedia News/Talk WRKO “AM 680 The Voice of Boston” (3.4 – 2.6, #13 to #15, 6+) falter by that magnitude. A very consistent 3.0 – 3.1 – 3.6 – 3.0 – 3.5 – 3.3 – 3.6 (September 2025 through February 2026, 6+), “Classical 99.5” notched a +1.3 to 4.9 (6+) this time last month. WRKO’s January-February-March topline was: 3.6 – 3.2 – 3.4 (6+).

Miami

On the strength of April’s +1.1 (6.0 – 7.1, third to first, 6+), Audacy Adult Contemporary WLYF “101.5 Lite FM” reaches the top spot for the first time since last July. Bumped from the penthouse after back-to-back stays there and slipping to fourth is Cox Media Group Urban AC WHQT “Hot 105,” which is a combined -1.5 in March and April (7.2 – 6.7 – 5.7, 6+). In February, “Hot” reached a seven-share (7.2, 6+) for the first time since September 2025’s 7.4 (6+).

Including April’s spike of eight-tenths, Univision Spanish Contemporary WRTO “Mix 98.3” is trending 1.6 – 1.7 – 2.5 (February – March – April, #17, 6+).

Spanish Broadcasting System-owned Spanish Tropical WXDJ “El Nuevo Zol 106.7” (#9 to #11) regresses by seven-tenths and continues an alternating up/down pattern that began last September: 3.7 – 3.9 – 3.8 – 4.2 – 3.9 – 4.0 – 3.8 – 4.2 – 3.5, 6+).

Seattle

On the heels of its combined -1.3 in February and March (9.7 – 9.5 – 8.4, 6+), “94.9 KUOW” breaks out a +2.2 to 10.6 (6+) and is #1 the fourth month in a row. The University of Washington-owned News/Talk outlet had a steady August 2025 through February 2026 topline of: 9.1 – 9.2 – 9.1 – 9.4 – 9.8 – 9.4 – 9.7 – 9.5 (6+). The last time another Seattle station reached double-digits (6) was in “Holiday” 2025 when Hubbard Broadcasting Adult Contemporary KRWM “Warm 106.9” logged an 11.1 (6+).

Not far behind KUOW’s massive +2.2 is the +1.7 by Bonneville International-owned/Mariners flagship KIRO-AM “Seattle Sports 710 AM,” which is a net +2.6 in March and April (3.8 – 4.7 – 6.4, sixth to second, 6+).

An overall +3.9 via four increases in succession (2.4 – 3.2 – 4.3 – 4.7 – 6.3, 6+), “Friends of KEXP”-owned Alternative KEXP craters by -2.7 to 3.6 (6+) and plummets from #2 to #11.

Detroit

Audacy Sports Talk WXYT-FM “97.1 The Ticket” (9.0 – 11.2, 6+) matches the +2.2 put up by University of Washington-owned KUOW/Seattle (see above) as the flagship of the Pistons, Red Wings, and Tigers is #1 the fourth month in a row. “The Ticket” is in double-digits (11.2, 6+) for the first time since last October’s 10.3 (6+).

Up six-tenths (4.0 – 4.6, tenth to seventh, 6+), Beasley Broadcast Group Classic Rock “94.7 WCSX” has its best 6+-showing since last November’s 5.1 (6+).

Faltering by seven-tenths each are iHeartMedia CHR WKQI “Channel 95.5” (5.0 – 4.3, sixth to tenth, 6+) and Educational Media Foundation Contemporary Christian WDKL “K-Love 102.7” (2.8 – 2.1, #14 to #17, 6+). “Channel 95.5” had been an overall +1.5 in three straight up or flat trends (3.5 – 4.7 – 5.0 – 5.0, 6+). In three straight decreases, “K-Love” is a net -1.3 (3.4 – 2.9 – 2.8 – 2.1, 6+).

Phoenix

Setting the pace the seventh sweep in succession, iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary KESZ “99.9 KEZ” continues an alternating up/down pattern that began last December and includes April’s gain of two-tenths: 14.0 – 16.8 – 7.5 – 8.0 – 6.7 – 6.9 (6+). Entering the January sweep, KESZ had been a net +10.7 in four consecutive upticks (6.1 – 7.9 – 8.3 – 14.0 – 16.8, 6+).

Improving by seven-tenths, Hubbard Broadcasting Alternative KDKB “Alt AZ 93.3” (#16) has a topline between 2.2 – 2.9 (6+) for the sixth straight time: 2.9 – 2.0 – 2.5 – 2.7 – 2.2 – 2.9 (6+).

The huge +1.4 that Audacy Classic Hits KOOL racked up in March vanishes completely in April (4.5 – 5.9 – 4.5, 6+), as “Big 94.5” slips from third to fifth. Entering the March sweep, “Big” registered a 6+-stat between 4.0 – 4.9 in each of the previous 13 ratings periods.

Minneapolis

In a bit of an oddity, the top three Twin Cities stations register a March 2026 – April 2026 increase of nine-tenths. Included in that trio is  iHeartMedia Sports Talk KFXN “100.3 The Fan” (7.3 – 8.2, 6+), which repeats at #1. The flagship of the Minnesota Vikings; Minnesota Timberwolves; Minnesota Wild; and the WNBA’s Minnesota Lynx was frozen on 7.3 (6+) in February and March.

Also gaining nine-tenths are Minnesota Public Radio-owned KNOW “91.1 MPR News” (7.2 – 8.1, steady in second-place, 6+) and iHeartMedia Country KEEY “K-102” (6.3 – 7.2, fifth to third, 6+). A combined -1.4 in February and March (8.6 – 7.7 – 7.2, 6+), KNOW had a February-only residence at #1. This represents the fourth straight spike by “K-102” for a net +3.2 (4.0 – 5.3 – 5.8 – 6.3 – 7.2, 6+).

Immediately after posting a +.8 to 1.5 (6+), Center For Communication & Development-owned Urban AC “89.9 KMOJ” forfeits three-quarters of that increase to .9 (-.6, #17 to #20, 6+). Entering the April sweep, KMOJ registered three consecutive up or flat trends for a collective +.9 (.6 – .7 – .7 – 1.5, 6+).

San Diego

Even though Audacy Classic Hits KXSN is without an increase the fourth time in a row for a net loss of seven-tenths (8.1 – 7.7 – 7.7 – 7.4 – 7.4, 6+), “Sunny 98.1” advances from third to first. It’s thus a March-only stay at the top for Local Media San Diego-programmed Rhythmic Hot AC XHRM “Magic 92.5,” which has its March +1.2 eradicated in full (6.7 – 7.9 – 6.7, first to third, 6+). The November 2025 through February 2026 topline for “Magic” was a steady 6.2 – 6.2 – 6.4 – 6.8 – 6.7 (6+).

  • Powered by a massive +2.1 (3.2 – 5.3, 6+), Audacy Sports Talk/Padres flagship KWFN “97.3 The Fan” vaults from #12 to #5 and matches the 5.3 (6+) it garnered last October. Including April’s gain of one full-share Local Media San Diego-programmed CHR XHTZ “Z-90.3” continues an alternating up/down sequence that launched last August: 2.7 – 3.0 – 2.9 – 3.1 – 2.5 – 2.6 – 2.4 – 3.1 – 2.6 – 3.6, #17 to #9, 6+).

Another Local Media San Diego-programmed outlet – Alternative XTRA “91-X” – is a combined -1.0 in March and April (4.2 – 3.9 – 3.2, 6+) and exits the top ten (#8 to #13).

Tampa

After being a combined +1.4 in February and March, Cox Media Group Adult Contemporary WDUV drops a modest one-tenth to 9.7 (6+), but “Lite Favorites 105.5” is #1 the third month in a row.

Notching gains of six-tenths each are WDUV’s similarly formatted cluster-mate WWRM “Magic 94.9” (5.1 – 5.7, sixth to fifth, 6+) and Beasley Broadcast Group Country WQYK “99.5 QYK” (2.8 – 3.4, #14 to #13, 6+). In three straight minor dips, “Magic” lost an overall seven-tenths (5.8 – 5.7 – 5.3 – 5.1, 6+), while WQYK was off a combined four-tenths in February and March (3.2 – 3.1 – 2.8, 6+).

Up eight-tenths this time last month (4.9 – 5.7, 6+), iHeartMedia-owned WXTB “98 Rock” has an April decrease more than twice that magnitude (5.7 – 3.9, -1.8, fifth to tenth, 6+).

Denver

Following three improvements in succession for a net +1.5 (5.6 – 5.7 – 7.0 – 7.1, 6+), Audacy Classic Rock KQMT “99.5 The Mountain” loses three-tenths to 6.8 (6+), but is #1 the third consecutive month.

In the iHeartMedia cluster, KBCO “97.3 World Class Rock” (4.2 – 5.5, sixth to third, 6+) and co-owned Alternative KTCL “Channel 93.3” (4.2 – 5.5, sixth to fourth, 6+) are +1.3 and +1.0, respectively. The November 2025 through March 2026 topline for “World Class Rock” was: 4.1 – 4.2 – 4.0 – 4.4 – 4.3 – 4.2 (6+). Similarly, “Channel 93.3” was in 4.2 – 4.6 range (6+) August 2025 through March 2026: 4.6 – 4.4 – 4.5 – 4.8 – 4.6 – 4.1 – 4.2 – 4.6 – 4.2 (6+).

Locked on 2.8 (6+) in January and February, Educational Media Foundation Contemporary Christian KLDV gained two-tenths in March, but “K-Love 91.1” surrenders nine-tenths in April to 2.1 (#13 to #19, 6+).

Baltimore

Despite being off a combined six-tenths in March and April (8.9 – 8.4 – 8.3, 6+), Urban One-owned Urban AC WWIN-FM “Magic 95.9” is #1 the fourth consecutive month.

Boasting the loftiest (6+) March 2026 – April 2026 increase by any station in the first two rounds of April 2026 data, Peter & John Radio Fellowship-owned Contemporary Christian WRBS-FM “Bright FM” (3.0 – 5.4, +2.4, 6+) zooms from #11 to #4.

Conversely, Atlantic Gateway Communications-owned/similarly-formatted “91.9 WGTS,” which had been trending .9 – .9 – 1.6 – 2.0 (6+), forfeits eight-tenths to 1.2 (#14 to #16, 6+).

St. Louis

Not only does “103.3 KLOU” record its fourth straight increase for a collective +2.7 (6.6 – 7.3 – 7.5 – 8.3 – 9.3, 6+), the iHeartMedia Classic Hits outlet progresses from second to first. KLOU succeeds Hubbard Broadcasting’s KSHE “Real Rock Radio,” which had been on top the past three months, but takes over in the runner-up slot. “Real Rock Radio” was frozen on 7.5 (6+) in December and “Holiday” 2025; locked on 8.4 (6+) in February and March; and actually adds three-tenths in April to 8.7 (6+).

Tacking on an April +1.2 to March’s increase of eight-tenths (3.9 – 4.7 – 5.9, 6+), Audacy News/Talk and Cardinals flagship KMOX-FM “104.1 The Voice of St. Louis” leaps from tenth to fifth. “The Voice of St. Louis” last reached a five-share (6+) in October 2024 (5.0, 6+).

Factoring in April’s loss of six-tenths, iHeartMedia Country KSD “93.7 The Bull” (sixth to ninth) is in an alternating up/down pattern that started in “Holiday” 2025: 5.1 – 6.9 – 6.4 – 5.7 – 5.1 (6+).

Round Three

Portland

Stymied on 7.5 (6+) the first two months of the year, Oregon Public Broadcasting News/Talk KOPB is a combined +1.2 in March and April (7.5 – 8.5 – 8.7, 6+) as “OPB Radio” progresses from second to first. After posting a February +1.4 (8.4 – 9.8, 6+), iHeartMedia-owned Classic Hits KLTH “106.7 The Eagle” has back-to-back full-share losses (9.8 – 8.8 – 7.8, 6+). “The Eagle” was #1 the past two sweeps, but slips to second.

Not only does All Classical Public Media KQAC add a whopping +1.6 to March’s modest one-tenth increase, “All Classical Radio” reaches a six-share (4.3 – 4.4 – 6.0, 6+) and elevates from ninth to fifth.

In consecutive sweeps, Audacy-owned Country KWJJ more than doubled (net +1.4) its topline (1.3 – 2.0 – 2.7, 6+); however, “99.5 The Wolf” forfeits seven-tenths in April to 2.0 (#14 to #17, 6+).

Charlotte

Six stations in this North Carolina metro have (6+) March 2026 – April 2026 swings of at least one full-share. Included in that sextet is Beasley Broadcast Group Adult Contemporary WKQC, which craters by a massive -2.8 (8.1 – 5.3, 6+) and tumbles from first to seventh. A combined +.7 in February and March, “K-104.7” was on top both of those months, as well as finishing first in December and “Holiday” 2025. One of two stations succeeding “K-104.7” at #1, University Radio Foundation-owned WFAE “Charlotte’s NPR News Source,” is up a combined eight-tenths in March and April (5.7 – 6.2 – 6.5, fourth to first, 6+). Immediately after posting a March +1.6, iHeartMedia Adult Hits WLKO “102.9 The Lake” surrenders all but two tenths of that increase (7.9 – 6.5, -1.4, 6+), yet manages to advance from second to a first-place tie with WFAE.

After trending 4.6 – 4.6 – 4.2 – 4.4 – 4.8 – 4.2 (November 2025 through March 2026, 6+), iHeartMedia Classic Rock WRFX “99.7 The Fox” erupts with a +1.5 to 5.7 (6+) and zooms from ninth to fourth. “The Fox” last reached a five-share (6+) in August 2025 (5.3, 6+). Notching full-share gains are Beasley Broadcast Group CHR WNKS “Kiss 95.1” (4.7 – 5.7, sixth to fourth, 6+) and iHeartMedia Alternative WEND “106.5 The End” (3.9 – 4.9, #12 to #10, 6+). “Kiss” had a December 2025 – March 2026 topline of: 4.4 – 4.3 – 4.4 – 4.7 – 4.7 (6+). “The End” has an alternating up/down pattern of 3.5 – 4.1 – 3.9 – 4.9 (January through April, 6+).

The wild ride continues for Beasley Broadcast Group Urban Contemporary WPEG “Power 98,” which more than doubled (net +4.3) its 6+-topline in five straight upticks (3.1 – 3.9 – 4.5 – 5.0 – 6.3 – 7.4, 6+) – but in April – erodes by two full-shares to 5.4 (third to sixth, 6+).

San Antonio

With a January through April topline of: 7.1 – 7.3 – 7.7 – 7.5 (6+), Cox Media Group Classic Rock KTKX “106.7 The Eagle” is on top the fourth month in succession. In “Holiday” 2025, “The Eagle” posted an 8.3 (6+).

With a “Holiday” 2025 through March 2026 topline of 1.7 – 1.2 – 1.0 – 1.4 (6+), Educational Media Foundation Contemporary KZAI “Air 1” picks up seven-tenths in April to 2.1 (#19, 6+). “Air 1” last reached a two-share (6+) in October 2025 (2.2, 6+).

Meanwhile, including April’s -1.2, co-owned/similarly-formatted KZLV “K-Love” is a combined -1.3 in March and April (5.2 – 5.1 – 3.9, fourth to ninth, 6+).

Sacramento

The six most recent (6+) fluctuations for Bonneville International Adult Contemporary KYMX “Mix 96” are: +1.2 (December 2025); +1.2 (“Holiday” 2025); -3.4 (January 2026); +1.1 (February); -1.8 (March) and now +1.1 in April (6.5 – 7.6, 6+). Advancing from third to first, “Mix” also set the pace in December; “Holiday” 2025; and February 2026. Dislodged after a March-only stay at #1, Audacy Classic Rock KSEG “96.9 The Eagle” (8.4 – 7.3, -1.1, 6+) segues to the runner-up slot. “The Eagle” had a January – February – March topline of: 8.0 – 8.1 – 8.4 (6+).

Off two-tenths this time last month (3.1 – 2.9, 6+), iHeartMedia Hot AC KZIS “Kiss 107.9” garners seven-tenths to 3.6 (#14 to #12, 6+).

After logging a 2.1 (6+) back in July 2025, Lotus Communications Regional Mexican KVMX “La Ranchera” has followed with ten straight toplines in the 1.2 – 1.9 range (6+). That includes April’s 1.2 (6+), which represents a half-share decline from March (#19 to #20, 6+).

Pittsburgh

Locked on 9.0 (6+) in February and March, Audacy Sports Talk KDKA-FM “93.7 The Fan” posts a hefty +2.1 to 11.2 (6+) and advances from third to first. The flagship of the Pirates also reached double-digits in January (11.7, 6+). Following back-to-back stays in first-place, iHeartMedia Classic Hits WWSW (10.4 – 10.3, -.1, 6+) slips to second; “94.5 3WS” is in double-digits (6+) the tenth consecutive time (12th in the last 13 sweeps).

Owing to four straight bumps – including April’s +.9 – iHeartMedia CHR WKST “Kiss 96.1” is a net +2.7 (3.5 – 4.6 – 5.2 – 5.3 – 6.2, 6+) and continues in sixth-place.

Regressing by six-tenths each are Steel City Media Hot AC WLTJ “Q-92.9” (3.2, #10 to #11, 6+) and Educational Media Foundation Contemporary Christian WPKV “K-Love 98.3” (1.9, #14 to #15, 6+). “Q-92.9” continues an alternating down/up pattern that surfaced last December: 3.3 – 3.0 – 3.4 – 3.3 – 3.8 – 3.2 (6+). “K-Love” had accrued nine-tenths via three straight increases (1.6 – 1.7 – 2.4 – 2.5, 6+)

Salt Lake City

Bonneville International’s KRSP follows March’s +1.1 (7.5 – 8.6, 6+) with a gain of eight-tenths to 9.4 (6+), as “103.5 The Arrow” is #1 the fourth straight month.

Off a modest one-tenth in March (5.2 – 5.1, 6+), Broadway Media Alternative KXRK “X-96” answers with a full-share improvement to 6.1 (6+) and vaults from eighth to third.

Four outlets here plummet by at least one full share and finish fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth. That quartet includes: Bonneville International Adult Contemporary KSFI “FM 100.3” (6.6 – 5.6, -1.0, third to fifth, 6+); iHeartMedia Classic Hits “94.1 KODJ” (6.1 – 4.7, -1.4, fourth to sixth, 6+); independent Country KSOP-FM “Z-104” (5.7 – 4.6, -1.1, fifth to seventh, 6+); and iHeartMedia-owned KNRS “Talk Radio” (5.2 – 4.1, -1.1, seventh to eighth, 6+).

Las Vegas

With an April loss of four-tenths, Beasley Broadcast Group Classic Hits “96.3 KKLZ” continues an alternating down/up sequence that commenced last December: 5.3 – 5.2 – 5.8 – 5.6 – 6.2 – 5.8 (6+). This is the third month in a row KKLZ is #1 – but – it has company in April, as Audacy Rhythmic Hot AC KXQQ “Q-100.5” is an overall +1.7 via three straight bumps (4.1 – 4.9 – 5.3 – 5.8, 6+) and progresses from third to a first-place tie.

Lotus Communications-owned Classic Rock KXPT “97.1 The Point” improves by nine-tenths (4.0 – 4.9, 6+) and inches up from fifth to fourth.

Factoring in April’s -1.3, Audacy Hot AC KMXB “Mix 94.1” (third to sixth) resumes its rotating down/up sequence that began last October: 3.7 – 3.5 – 5.0 – 4.4 – 5.0 – 4.8 – 5.3 – 4.0 (6+).

Orlando

Although off seven-tenths, iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary WMGF “Magic 107.7” is #1 the sixth sweep in succession and in double-digits (also) the sixth consecutive time: 14.5 – 21.0 – 10.8 – 11.0 – 11.0 – 10.3 (6+).

Elsewhere in the iHeartMedia cluster, CHR WXXL “XL-106.7” (4.4 – 5.8, eighth to fifth, 6+) and News/Talk sibling WTKS “Real Radio 104.1” (4.3 – 5.5, ninth to sixth, 6+) are +1.4 and +1.2, respectively. In February and March, “XL-106.7” was a combined -1.3 (5.7 – 4.9 – 4.4, 6+). Entering the March sweep, “Real Radio” was without a loss the previous three survey periods for an overall +1.6 (3.9 – 4.0 – 5.5 – 5.5, 6+), but squandered 75% of the increase with a -1.2 to 4.3 (6+).

Slipping from second to fourth, “98.9 WMMO” suffers the largest (6+) March 2026 – April 2026 nosedive in the first three rounds of April 2026 data – a loss of three full-shares (9.1 – 6.1, 6+). The Cox Media Group outlet was off seven-tenths in March (9.8 – 9.1, 6+).

Cincinnati

As a result of four successive sweeps without a loss – including April’s +1.6 – iHeartMedia News/Talk “700 WLW” nets three full-shares (8.2 – 9.0 – 9.0 – 9.6 – 11.2, 6+). Moreover, the Reds flagship threepeats at #1.

With the exception of WLW’s April +1.6, there’s very little positive movement within the top twenty. In that vein, noting modest increases of two-tenths each are Urban One-owned WOSL “100.3 Cinci’s R&B Station” (2.6, #11 to #9, 6+), which had been an overall -2.3 in four straight declines (4.7 – 4.4 – 3.8 – 3.1 – 2.4, 6+); Contemporary Christian WORI (.3 – .5, #19 to #18, 6+); and Maple Knoll Adult Standards WMKV (.2 – .4, unchanged at #20, 6+).

While it remains in third-place, Hubbard Broadcasting Hot AC WKRQ “Q-102” drops a full-share and is in an alternating up/down pattern: 5.2 – 7.2 – 6.6 – 7.2 – 6.2, “Holiday” 2025 through April 2026 (6+).

Cleveland

After trending 8.0 – 8.4 – 8.1 (January – February – March, 6+), iHeartMedia-owned WTAM “News Radio 1100 AM” breaks out a +2.1 to 10.2 (6+) and progresses from second to first. As a result, WTAM’s  Classic Hits sibling – WMJI “Majic 105.7” – concludes its string of nine consecutive stays at #1and trades places with “News Radio” at #2. Whereas “Majic” is now an overall -11.8 since “Holiday” 2025 (19.8 – 9.9 – 9.3 – 9.3 – 8.0, 6+), leading up to the “Holiday” 2025 sweep, it was +10.2 in three straight spikes (9.6 – 9.9 – 14.9 – 19.8, 6+).

Sports Talk is the huge April 2026 winner here as Audacy’s WKRK “92.3 The Fan” is +1.1 (5.4 – 6.5, tenth to fifth, 6+), while Good Karma Brands-owned WKNR “850 ESPN Cleveland” resurfaces after a lengthy hiatus at #16 (1.8, 6+).

Dropping seven-tenths each are Audacy-owned WNCX “98.5 Cleveland’s Classic Rock (8.0 – 7.3, third to fourth, 6+) and Kent State University News/Talk WKSU “Ideastream Public Media” (5.9 – 5.2, seventh to ninth, 6+). Ironically, WNCX was a net +2.2 (5.8 – 7.0 – 7.5 – 8.0, 6+) from “Holiday” 2025 through March 2026, as was WKSU in that same period (3.7 – 5.2 – 5.4 – 5.9, 6+).

Kansas City

Notwithstanding April’s modest loss of one-tenth (6.7 – 6.6, 6+) curtails five straight sweeps without a loss that netted a +1.9 (4.8 – 5.0 – 5.0 – 5.9 – 6.0 – 6.7, 6+), Steel City Media CHR KMXV “Mix 93.3” threepeats at #1.

In the Audacy cluster, Country WDAF “106.5 The Wolf” (seventh to fifth) and Sports Talk/Royals flagship sibling KFNZ “96.5 The Fan” (3.2 – 4.3, tenth to sixth, 6+) are +1.2 and +1.1, respectively. “The Wolf” is now a combined +1.7 in March and April (3.0 – 3.5 – 4.7, 6+), with 4.8 representing its highest 6+-stat since November’s 6.8 (6+). Having posted a “Holiday” 2025 through February 2026 topline of 2.5 – 2.8 – 2.4 (6+), “The Fan” was up eight-tenths in March.

Stuck on 4.9 (6) in “Holiday” 2025 and January 2026 and then on 4.7 (6+) in February and March, Carter Broadcast Group Urban Contemporary KPRS “Hot 103 Jamz” falters by one full-share in April to 3.7 (fifth to eighth, 6+).

Columbus

Albeit an overall -.8 via four straight dips (8.2 – 7.7 – 7.5 – 7.4, 6+), iHeartMedia Country-formatted “92.3 WCOL” is #1 the fourth consecutive time. January’s 8.2 was its best 6+-stat since July 2025’s 8.6 (6+).

Up one-tenth in March (5.6 – 5.7, 6+), Saga Communications Adult Contemporary WSNY “Sunny 95” surges by one full-share in April to 6.7 (6+), leaping from sixth to second. Meanwhile, North American Broadcasting Company Classic Country WJKR “103.9 The Maverick” balloons by +1.5 (3.2 – 4.7, #11 to #8, 6+) as “The Maverick” more than doubles (net +2.5) its 6+-topline in five straight up or flat trends (2.2 – 2.2 – 3.1 – 3.1 – 3.2 – 4.7, 6+).

In the Urban AC contest, Urban One’s WXMG “Magic 95.5” (6.0 – 5.4 , fourth to sixth, 6+) and iHeartMedia’s similarly-formatted WZCB-HD2 “Throwback 105.3” (1.6 – 1.0, #18 to #19, 6+) each regress by six-tenths. “Magic” is a collective -1.1 in four successive sweeps without an increase (6.5 – 6.5 – 6.5 – 6.0 – 5.4, 6+); “Throwback” gained six-tenths in four straight up or flat moves (1.0 – 1.1 – 1.2, 1.6 – 1.6, 6+).

Round Four

Austin

Despite being an overall -1.1 the past three sweeps (10.8 – 10.1 – 10.0 – 9.7, 6+), University of Texas at Austin-owned News/Talk “KUT 90.5” repeats at #1. Prior to being dislodged in “Holiday” 2025, KUT spent five straight survey periods at the top and was #1 in January.

On the heels of March’s mammoth +1.7, “KUTX 98.9” nearly matches it with April’s +1.6.  Continuing in third-place, the University of Texas at Austin Triple A outlet essentially doubles (net +3.7) its 6+-topline via three straight gains (3.8 – 4.2 – 5.9 – 7.5, 6+).

Off four-tenths, Waterloo Media Group-owned KGSR “Vibe 93.3” is trending 2.5 – 2.6 – 2.6 – 2.2 (January through April, #15 to #17, 6+).

Raleigh

The top four finishers here have (6+) March 2026 – April 2026 moves of at least a full-share. Grouped in that quartet is North Carolina at Chapel Hill-owned WUNC, which is #1 the 13th time in a row. By plunging -1.7, “North Carolina Public Radio” continues an alternating up/down pattern that began last November: 10.2 – 10.3 – 9.6 – 11.4 – 10.5 – 11.1 – 9.4 (6+).

After recording a March increase of seven-tenths (6.6 – 7.3, 6+), Capitol Broadcasting Adult Contemporary WRAL “Mix 101.5” essentially triples that gain with a +1.7 (6+) and advances from third to second. In February, “Mix” cratered by -3.1 (9.7 – 6.6, -3.1, 6+), dipping below a seven-share (6.6, 6+) for the first time since October 2025’s 6.8. Factoring in April’s +1.2, Urban One Urban AC WFXC “Foxy” is a combined +2.1 as a result of three straight spikes (5.6 – 6.2 – 6.5 – 7.7, fifth to third, 6+).

A net +3.9 in February and March (4.7 – 7.9 – 8.6, 6+), Curtis Media Group Adult Hits WBBB “96.1 BBB” forfeits nearly half that advantage with April’s -1.8 to 6.8 (second to fourth, 6+).

Indianapolis

The players have changed, but there’s still a deadlock at #1. In its fourth straight month at the top, iHeartMedia Classic Rock WFBQ “Q-95” gains six-tenths to reach the eight-share level (7.4 – 8.0, 6+). Prior to March’s -.4, “Q-95” had been a combined +2.7 in three increases in a row (5.1 – 6.7 – 7.7 – 7.8, 6+). A combined +1.5 in March and April (6.5 – 7.0 – 8.0, 6+), Urban One Urban AC “106.7 WTLC-FM” progresses from #4 to join “Q-95” at #1. WTLC-FM last recorded an eight-share (6+) in September 2025 (8.7, 6+). Meanwhile, two of WTLC-FM’s cluster-mates that were tied at #1 in March – WIBC “93.1 Indy’s News Center” (7.4 – 7.1, -.3, 6+) and Adult Contemporary WYXB “B-105.7” (7.4 – 6.6, -.8, 6+) – drop to third and fourth, respectively.

Following a January – February – March topline of 2.9 – 2.8 – 2.8 (6+), Urban One’s WLHK posts a gain of six-tenths to 3.4, its best 6+-stat since last December’s 4.9 (6+); “Country 97.1 Hank FM” is unchanged in tenth-place.

Up a combined half-share in February and March (5.5 – 5.8 – 6.0, 6+), Metropolitan Indianapolis Public Broadcasting News/Talk WFYI regresses by six-tenths to 5.4 (6+), but remains in fifth-place.

Milwaukee

An iHeartMedia outlet is again #1 here. This time though it’s Classic Hits WRIT “95.7 Big FM,” which has a January through April topline of 8.8 – 8.8 – 8.6 – 8.8 (second to first, 6+). “Big FM” succeeds co-owned WISN “News/Talk 1130,” which had been on top the past three months, posting a 10.1 (6+) all three times. WISN surrenders a -1.5 to 8.6 (6+) and trades places with WRIT. Before shifting to the runner-up slot in “Holiday” 2025, “News Talk 1130” was on top 29 times in a row.

Within 6.2 – 6.7 range (6+) in each of the last six survey periods (6.2 – 6.7 – 6.7 – 6.4 – 6.3 – 6.2, 6+), Audacy Hot AC WMYX “99.1 The Mix” breaks out a +1.3 to 7.5 (6+) and carries on in third-place. After a lengthy hiatus of being unlisted nonsubscribers, two Good Karma Brands-owned stations resurface: News/Talk (Bucks and Brewers flagship) “620 WTMJ Wisconsin’s Radio Station” (5.1, #6, 6+) and Sports Talk WKTI “94.5 ESPN Milwaukee” (1.7, #17, 6+).

Including April’s loss of eight-tenths, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee News/Talk WUWM “89.7 Milwaukee’s NPR” is down an overall full-share in three straight down or flat trends (3.8 – 3.6 – 3.6 – 2.8, #11 to #12, 6+).

Nashville

Midwest Communications Adult Contemporary WJXA “Mix 92.9” matches March’s stunning +1.7 and leads the way the eighth sweep in a row. Furthermore, “Mix” is in double digits the sixth straight time (12.4 – 16.8 – 11.4 – 11.3 – 13.0 – 14.7, 6+). WJXA spent ten consecutive months at #1 before slipping to second in September; it nearly doubled (net +8.3) its 6+-topline in four consecutive sweeps (8.5 – 9.1 – 9.3 – 12.4 – 16.8, 6+).

Repeating in the runner-up slot is co-owned Adult Hits WCJK “96.3 Jack FM,” which adds seven-tenths to March’s half-share gain (6.8 – 7.3 – 8.0, 6+). “Jack” notched an 8.0 (6+) in “Holiday” 2025, as well.

Owing to three successive upticks, Educational Media Foundation Contemporary Christian WLVU was an overall +2.8 (3.8 – 5.4 – 5.8 – 6.6, third, 6+). In April, however, “K-Love 97.1” relinquishes all but one-tenth of that bounty, cratering by -2.7 to 3.9 (6+) and sliding from third to eighth.

Providence

Over and above being a net +3.5 since “Holiday” 2025 (6.6 – 7.5 – 9.1 – 9.4 – 10.1, 6+), Hall Communications-owned WCTK “Cat Country 98.1” threepeats at #1 and reaches a ten-share (10.1, 6+) for the first time since last October’s 10.0 (6+).

A combined -1.2 in February and March (6.3 – 5.4 – 5.1, 6+), iHeartMedia Hot AC WSNE “Now 93.3” answers with an April improvement of four-tenths to 5.5 (6+) and continues in fourth-place.

As a result of April’s decrease of seven-tenths, iHeartMedia-owned WHJJ’s 6+-stat erodes exactly in half the past two sweeps (1.6 – 1.5 – .8, 6+), with “News Radio 920” dropping from #9 to #11.

Norfolk

After being a combined -1.4 in February and March (13.3 – 12.8 – 11.9, 6+), WVKL “95-7 R&B” garners a half-share to 12.4 (6+). The Audacy Urban AC is #1 the 16th successive sweep and in double-digits (6+) the sixth time in a row. Its December 2025 gain of four-tenths halted three consecutive decreases that accounted for a net loss of one full-share (10.9 – 10.6 – 10.1 – 9.9, 6+).

When factoring in April’s full-share increase, Max Media Adult Contemporary WTWV is an overall +1.4 since January (1.9 – 2.2 – 2.3 – 3.3, #13 to #12, 6+); “92.9 The Wave” hits a three-share (3.3, 6+) for the first time since last July’s 3.6 (6+).

Faltering by seven-tenths each are WTWV’s Urban AC sibling WVBW “100.5 The Vibe” (4.6 – 3.9, sixth to ninth, 6+) and Sinclair Country-formatted WUSH “US-106.1” (eighth to tenth, 6+). “The Vibe” was down six-tenths in March (5.2 – 4.6, 6+); “US-106.1” had been an overall +1.3 since “Holiday” 2025 (3.1 – 4.2 – 4.2 – 4.4 (6+).

Jacksonville

Although down a modest two-tenths on the heels of March’s +1.6 (10.0 – 11.6 – 11.4, 6+), Renda Media Adult Contemporary “96.1 WEJZ” repeats at #1 and is in double-digits (6+) the sixth time in a row. After three straight sweeps on top, WEJZ segued to the runner-up slot in February.

The station that dislodged WEJZ from the lead in February – Cox Media Group Classic Hits WJGL “96.9 The Eagle” –  responds to March’s -1.8 with a +1.2 (11.0 – 9.2 – 10.4, 6+) and continues in the runner-up slot. “The Eagle” improved by one full-share in February (10.0 – 11.0, 6+).

The five most recent (6+) fluctuations by Educational Media Foundation Contemporary Christian WJKV “K-Love 90.9” have been: +1.0 (“Holiday” 2025); +1.3 (January); but then -1.0 (February); -1.3 (March) and now a whopping -2.3 in April (5.1 – 2.8, #8 to #11, 6+).

West Palm Beach

When including April’s modest increase of two-tenths, Hubbard Broadcasting-owned Classic Hits WEAT continues an alternating up/down pattern that began last December: 14.5 – 19.2 – 12.9 – 15.9 – 15.5 – 15.7 (6+). “Sunny 107.9” is both #1 the eighth time in succession and in double-digits the eighth straight time (11.6 – 13.3 – 14.5 – 19.2 – 12.9 – 15.9 – 15.5 – 15.7, 6+). January’s -6.3 ended WEAT’s string of seven successive increases that netted an astonishing +14.3 (4.9 – 5.3 – 6.6 – 8.8 – 11.6 – 13.3 – 14.5 – 19.2, 6+).

Immediately after breaking out a March +1.1, WAY Media Contemporary Christian WAYF “Way FM” more than doubles that increase with a massive +2.7 (2.3 – 3.4 – 6.1, 6+) and leaps from seventh to third. April’s 6.1 (6+) essentially triples the 2.0 (6+) it recorded last December.

Backsliding by eight-tenths each are Hubbard Broadcasting Urban AC WMBX “X-102.3” (third to fourth, 6+) and iHeartMedia Classic Rock WKGR “98.7 The Gator” (fourth to fifth). WMBX is now a net -3.5 since January (9.3 – 8.1 – 6.6 – 5.8, 6+), while “The Gator” continues an alternating down/up sequence that surfaced last December: 5.3 – 4.2 – 5.0 – 4.9 – 5.8 – 5.0 (6+).

Greensboro

Even though Audacy Urban AC WQMG surrenders 35% of March’s two-share increase (12.6 – 11.9, -.7, 6+), “97.1 QMG” is #1 the fourth consecutive month and is in double-digits a staggering 64th straight time. Prior to shifting to the runner-up slot in December, WQMG was #1 for 11 straight months.

In the last three survey periods, iHeartMedia-owned WVBZ “Real Rock 105.7” has been +1.3 (2.2 – 3.5, February, 6+); -.6 (3.5 – 2.9, March 6+); and now +1.4 in April (2.9 – 4.3, tenth to eighth, 6+). “Real Rock” last reached a four-share (6+) in August 2025 (4.1, 6+).

Slipping from third to fourth, Educational Media Foundation Contemporary Christian WWLV suffers the most substantial (6+) March 2026 – April 2026 nosedive by any station in the 48 PPM-markets (10.2 – 7.1, -3.1, 6+). This time last month, “K-Love 94.1” doubled February’s gain of seven-tenths with a +1.4 (8.1 – 8.8 – 10.2, 6+). Meanwhile, Audacy Adult Hits WSMW, which was a net +4.3 via three successive spikes (8.0 – 9.5 – 10.4 – 12.3, 6+), surrenders a full-share to 11.3 (6+); “98.7 Simon,” is unchanged in the runner-up slot. Prior to March 2026, the last time “Simon” registered a 12-share (6+) was in August 2025 (12.5).

Memphis

Not only is iHeartMedia Urban AC KJMS a net +1.4 the last three months (12.3 – 12.7 – 13.5 – 13.7, 6+), “V-101” is #1 the 30th time in succession.

Trending 8.9 – 8.7 – 8.4 (6+) the first three months of the year, Audacy Adult Contemporary WRVR “104.5 The River” balloons by a full-share to 9.4 (6+) and advances from third to the runner-up slot.

Mirroring March’s -1.1 (5.2 – 4.1 – 3.0, 6+), Educational Media Foundation Contemporary Christian WKVF “K-Love” slips from sixth to seventh.

Hartford

Huge news in Hartford is there’s a new #1 (6+). Nearly equaling its March +1.3, iHeartMedia’s WWYZ “Country 92.5” posts a +1.2 (9.7 – 10.9, 6+) and progresses from the runner-up slot to the top. Thus, after setting the pace 22 straight sweeps, Audacy Adult Contemporary WRCH, a combined -1.9 in March and April (11.8 – 10.7 – 9.9, 6+), shifts to second-place. “Lite 100.5” had been in double-digits (6+) in each of the last 19 survey periods. Immediately prior to January, “Lite” netted nine full-shares, owing to three straight improvements (10.4 – 10.7 – 15.1 – 19.4, 6+).

Exactly duplicating March’s full-share inflation (5.5 – 6.5 – 7.5, 6+), iHeartMedia Classic Hits WHCN “The River 105.9” flows from seventh to fourth. “The River” last hit a seven-share (6+) in August 2025 (7.3, 6+).

Following a January – February – March topline of 6.2 – 6.9 – 6.9 (6+), Connecticut Public Broadcasting-owned News/Talk WNPR “Connecticut Public Radio” plummets by -1.8 to 5.1 (6+), but continues in eighth-place.
