Shown here are my takeaways from all 48 PPM-measured markets, based on Nielsen Audio’s 6+ total week stats from the September 2026 ratings period.

Round One

New York

Last month’s tie at the top is resolved, although August’s co-leaders are both once again in negative territory. Factoring in September’s half-share decline, Audacy all-News “1010 WINS on 92.3 FM” is a combined -.6 in August and September (7.4 – 7.3 – 6.8, 6+), but repeats at #1. Meanwhile, iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary WLTW is an overall -1.2 these past two sweeps (7.9 – 7.3 – 6.7, 6+), as “106.7 Lite FM” segues to the runner-up slot. Having occupied the top spot since March, “Lite” was a net +1.1 via three consecutive up or flat trends (7.0 – 7.4 – 7.4 – 8.1, January through April, 6+).

A combined -1.5 in July and August (3.3 – 2.9 – 1.8, 6+), New York Public Radio-owned “Classical New York 105.9 WQXR” erases nearly half that deficit with a +.7 to 2.5 (#17 to #14, 6+).

Locked on 4.1 (6+) in July and August, Red Apple Media’s “Talk Radio 77 WABC” falters by a full-share to 3.1 (6+) and tumbles out of the top ten (#8 to #12).

Los Angeles

After posting three straight months without a loss for a net gain of seven-tenths (6.0 – 6.2 – 6.2 – 6.7, 6+), iHeartMedia Hot AC KBIG drops three-tenths to 6.4 (6+). That modest dip notwithstanding, “104.3, My FM” threepeats at #1.

A whopping increase of nine-tenths enables Audacy Alternative KROQ to cross the four-share level and leap into the top ten (#11 to #5). “The World Famous KROQ” is a net +1.3 since June (3.0 – 3.4 – 3.4 – 4.3, 6+).

Regressing by six-tenths each are iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary KOST “Coast 103.5” (second to third) and Spanish Broadcasting System Regional Mexican KLAX “La Raza 97.9” (3.9 – 3.3, #7 to #12). Following eight successive months at #1, “Coast” was dislodged in July, but in five consecutive sweeps without an increase, it has eroded by two full-shares (7.1 – 7.1 – 6.5 – 5.8 – 5.7 – 5.1, 6+). Entering this survey period, “La Raza 97.9” was an overall +.7 via four straight up or flat trends (3.2 – 3.3 – 3.3 – 3.3 – 3.9, 6+).

Chicago

Albeit that WBBM-AM & WCFS suffers a nine-tenths setback (6.4 – 5.5, 6+), “News Radio 780 AM & 105.9 FM” repeats at #1. The Audacy-owned combo was a combined +.9 in July and August (5.5 – 5.8 – 6.4, 6+).

Frozen on 1.2 (6+) the past two months, Good Karma Sports-owned WMVP “ESPN Chicago AM 1000” gains seven-tenths to 1.9 (6+), as the White Sox flagship returns to the top twenty (#20).

Slipping by one-half share each are Audacy-owned WXRT “93 XRT Chicago’s Finest Rock” (5.9 – 5.4, flat in the runner-up slot, 6+) and iHeartMedia Urban AC WVAZ “V-103” (4.5 – 4.0, unchanged in sixth-place, 6+). After being down a collective nine-tenths in three straight months without an increase (6.3 – 5.6 – 5.6 – 5.4, 6+), “Chicago’s Finest Rock” is returning the half-share it garnered in August. “V-103” surrendered a full-share decline in August; it had been up or flat six straight times for an overall +2.3 (3.2 – 4.0 – 4.0 – 4.0 – 4.4 – 4.4 – 5.5, 6+).

San Francisco

In double-digits the past three months (10.0 – 10.3 – 10.2, 6+), KQED Inc.-owned public News/Talk KQED slumps by four-tenths to 9.8 (6+) – but – is #1 the ninth time in a row. Entering the August sweep, KQED was a net +1.7 via four straight spikes (8.6 – 9.2 – 9.3 – 10.0 – 10.3, 6+).

Three Bay Area outlets chalk up gains of six-tenths: Audacy’s KCBS-AM & KFRC “All News 740 AM & 106.9 FM” (steady in the runner-up slot); iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary KISQ “98.1 The Breeze” (4.7 – 5.3, fourth to third, 6+); and co-owned Urban Contemporary “106 KMEL” (#16 to #13). Within 8.3 – 8.9 range (6+) the ninth straight time, “All News 740 AM & 106.9 FM” misfired by eight-tenths in August (8.3 – 8.8 – 8.6 – 8.7 – 8.8 – 8.5 – 8.9 – 8.1 – 8.7, 6+). Meanwhile, “The Breeze” was trending (4.7 – 4.6 – 4.7, June – July – August, 6+) and this is KMEL’s third gain a row for a net +.9 (1.3 – 1.5 – 1.6 – 2.2, 6+).

Forfeiting one-half share to 2.4 (#10 to #12, 6+), Audacy Alternative KITS “Live 105” had a May through August topline of 3.0 – 2.9 – 3.0 – 2.9 (6+).

Dallas

While iHeartMedia-owned Adult Contemporary KDGE is #1 the fifth successive month, it has company in the penthouse. With September’s -1.1 to 5.1 (6+), “Star 102.1” forfeits 55% of the overall net gain of two full-shares via four straight surges (4.2 – 4.9 – 5.4 – 6.0 – 6.2, 6+). With a gaudy +1.5, Educational Media Foundation Contemporary Christian KLTY “K-Love 94.9” catches “Star” at #1 (3.6 – 5.1, eighth to a first-place tie, 6+).

Stymied on 1.5 (6+) the past four sweeps, iHeartMedia Rock KEGL “97.1 The Eagle” busts out a +.6 to 2.1 (6+), inching up from #19 to #18.

Off four-tenths and dropping from eighth to ninth, Urban One-owned Urban Contemporary KKDA-FM “K-104” is within 3.1 – 3.6 range the eighth time in succession (3.5 – 3.5 – 3.1 – 3.4 – 3.3 – 3.2 – 3.6 – 3.2, 6+).

Houston

Answering August’s half-share slip (9.6 – 9.1, 6+) with a thunderous +1.6 to 10.7 (6+), iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary KODA is #1 the 14th time in a row and in double-digits for the first time since “Holiday” 2025’s 13.3 (6+). “Sunny 99.1”” gained a combined full-share in June and July (8.6 – 9.4 – 9.6, 6+).

Univision Spanish Adult Hits KOVE actually betters August +1.3 by tacking on a +1.4 (2.4 – 3.7 – 5.1, 6+) to progress from tenth to seventh. “Amor 106.5” was an overall -1.5 in June and July (3.9 – 3.1 – 2.4, 6+). Notching upticks of a full-share are iHeartMedia Alternative KTBZ “94.5 The Buzz” (6.6, fourth to third, 6+) and Spanish Broadcasting System Regional Mexican KROI “La Ley 92.1” (2.9, #18 to #12, 6+). “The Buzz” had an April through August topline of: 5.6 – 5.1 – 5.6 – 5.5 – 5.6 (6+), while “La Ley” was a combined -1.0 in July and August (2.9 – 2.5 – 1.9, 6+).

One of KROI’s format rivals – Estrella Media-owned KQQK “El Norte 107.9” – falters by seven-tenths (2.6 – 1.9, #16 to #17, 6+). Owing to three gains in a row, “El Norte” had doubled (+1.3) its 6+-topline (1.3 – 1.5 – 2.4 – 2.6, May through August, 6+).

Atlanta

Stacking a +.6 onto August’s +1.1 (6.5 – 7.6 – 8.2, 6+), Urban One Urban AC WAMJ “Majic The Real Sound of Atlanta” crosses the eight-share level and repeats at #1.

A combined -1.5 in July and August (7.5 – 6.6 – 6.0, 6+), Cox Media Group-owned WSB-AM & WSBB nearly obliterates that deficit with a +1.3 to 7.3 (6+) and carries on at #2. “Atlanta’s News Talk 750 & 95.5” was on top in June and July.

Floundering by seven-tenths are Cox Media Group Urban AC WALR “Kiss 104.1,” which is in alternating down/up pattern (6.1 – 5.0 – 5.1 – 4.4, fifth to seventh, 6+) and Educational Media Foundation Contemporary Christian WAIA “Air 1,” in two-share range the seventh straight time (2.4 – 2.7 – 2.3 – 2.8 – 2.1 – 2.9 – 2.2, #12 to #14, 6+).

Philadelphia

Not only does Beasley Broadcast Group-owned WMMR rocket from fifth to first, “93.3 WMMR Rocks” boasts the largest (6+) August 2026 – September 2026 increase by any station in all 48 PPM-measured markets (5.5 – 10.2, +4.7, 6+). In addition, WMMR’s 10.2 marks the first time a Philadelphia station has reached double-digits (6+) since Audacy Adult Contemporary WBEB did so in “Holiday’ 2025 (17.0, 6+). That, however, is only part of the story at #1: August’s co-leaders iHeartMedia Urban AC WDAS-FM “Philly’s Best R&B and Classic Soul” (7.8 – 7.4, -.4, 6+) and Beasley Broadcast Group Classic Rock WMGK “102.9 MGK” (7.8 – 6.9, -.9, 6+) fall to third and fourth, respectively. “Philly’s Best R&B and Classic Soul” was a combined +1.2 in July and August (6.6 – 7.1 – 7.8, 6+), while WMGK was an overall +1.8 via three straight spikes (6.0 – 6.3 – 7.4 – 7.8, 6+).

Registering a gain of six-tenths, University of Pennsylvania-owned Triple A WXPN “88.5 XPN” has a June through September topline of: 3.0 – 3.2 – 2.5 – 3.1 (#16 to 12, 6+).

On the heels of posting a full-share increase (4.4 – 5.4, 6+), Beasley Broadcast Group Country outlet WXTU “92.5 XTU” surrenders 70% of that gain to 4.7 (6+), but remains in seventh-place. WXTU’s January through July topline was between 4.3 – 4.7 (4.4 – 4.3 – 4.6 – 4.4 – 4.6 – 4.7 – 4.4, 6+).

Nassau-Suffolk (Long Island)

Down three-tenths following August’s +1.1 (7.0 – 8.1 – 7.8, 6+), Audacy-owned all-News “1010 WINS at 92.3 FM” is nonetheless #1 the ninth time in a row.

As a result of September’s +1.1, Audacy Hot AC WNEW-FM “NEW 102.7 has its best 6+-stat (4.4) since April’s 5.5 (6+) and returns to the top ten (3.3 – 4.4, #11 to #7, 6+),

iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary WLTW essentially sees its 6+-stat slivered in half the past two sweeps (6.0 – 4.2 – 3.1, 6+), as “106.7 Lite FM” departs the top ten (#8 to #11, 6+). August and September’s net -2.9 comes immediately after “Lite” was +1.8 in July (4.2 – 6.0, 6+).

Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario

In addition to being #1 the 22nd time in succession, Entravision Spanish Adult Hits KLYY expunges more than half of August’s -2.1 with a +1.2 (9.6 – 7.5 – 8.7, 6+). “José 97.5 y 107.1” was up a combined half-share in June and July (9.1 – 9.5 – 9.6, 6+).

In three straight sweeps without a loss, MediaCo Regional Mexican KRQB “Que Buena 96.1” has nearly doubled (+1.8) its 6+-topline (2.0 – 2.0 – 2.5 – 3.8, ninth to fifth, 6+).

Conversely, the 6+-stat of Univision’s KLXM “Latino Mix 103.9 y 98.3” has evaporated by two-thirds (-1.6) in three consecutive dips (2.4 – 2.1 – 1.8 – .8, #12 to #16, 6+).

San Jose

Adding four-tenths to August’s full-share increase, Univision Spanish Adult Hits KBRG repeats at #1. Until being unseated in July, “Amor 100.3” was #1 five months in succession.

Following a June – July – August topline of 4.4 – 4.1 – 4.6 (6+), Connoisseur Media Adult Contemporary KOIT-FM “Better Music For A Better Workday” (sixth to third) escalates by eight-tenths to 5.4, its best 6+-showing since “Holiday” 2025’s 11.6 (6+).

Surrendering 80% of August’s full-share increase (2.7 – 3.7 – 2.9, -.8, 6+), Univision Regional Mexican KSOL “Que Buena 98.9 y 99.1” exits the top ten (#8 to #12). “Que Buna” trended 2.5 – 2.5 – 2.7 (May – June – July, 6+).

Middlesex-Somerset-Union

Over and above continuing a rotating down/up pattern that commenced in March and includes September’s massive +2.2 (5.9 – 5.7 – 6.2 – 5.8 – 6.0 – 5.2 – 7.4, 6+), Audacy-owned WCBS-FM “101.1 New York’s Greatest Hits” vaults from fifth to first. Thus, after eight consecutive months on top, iHeartMedia Classic Rock WAXQ segues to the runner-up slot. Now a combined -.2.9 in August and September (10.2 – 8.6 – 7.3, 6+), “Q-104.3” had been without a loss four successive months for an overall +2.2 (8.0 – 8.0 – 8.5 – 8.8 – 10.2, March through July, 6+).

Within 2.0 – 2.6 range in each of the last five sweeps (2.4 – 2.6 – 2.0 – 2.2 – 2.1, 6+), Spanish Broadcasting System Spanish Contemporary WPAT  registers a +.9 to 3.0, matching its 6+-stat in March; “Amor 93.1” progresses from #15 to #11.

Slumping by a full-share and -1.1, respective, are iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary WLTW “106.7 Lite FM” (6.7 – 5.7, third to fourth, 6+) and Audacy Hot AC WNEW “NEW 102.7” (5.4, fourth to fifth, 6+). “Lite” was trending 6.1 – 6.1 – 6.7 (June – July – August, 6+), while “NEW” was an overall +1.3 via four straight bumps (5.2 – 5.6 – 5.9 – 6.0 – 6.5, 6+).

Round Two

Washington, DC

Up a combined six-tenths in August and September, following July’s -1.2, WAMU is on top the fifth successive sweep. The American University-owned News/Talk facility is in double-digits the ninth straight time (11.0 – 11.8 – 10.8 – 10.4 – 11.6 – 12.5 – 11.3 – 11.7 -11.9, 6+).

Improving by six-tenths are Howard University Urban AC “96.3 WHUR” (steady in third-place, 6+) and iHeartMedia Alternative WWDC “DC-101” (fifth to fourth, 6+). In four consecutive sweeps without a loss, WHUR is a net +1.5 (5.2 – 5.6 – 5.6 – 6.1 – 6.7, 6+). WWDC’s May through September topline is: 5.4 – 5.4 – 5.5 – 5.3 – 5.9 (6+).

With a September loss of seven-tenths to 4.9 (fourth to fifth, 6+), iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary “97.1 WASH-FM” forfeits more than 75% of its combined +.9 in July and August (4.7 – 5.5 – 5.6, 6+).

Boston

Even though Boston University-owned WBUR relinquishes – in its entirety – the +1.1 it garnered in August (6.8 – 7.9 – 6.8, 6+), “Boston’s NPR News Station” threepeats at #1.

Owing to five sweeps in a row without a loss, WGBH Educational Foundation-owned WCRB “CRB Classical 99.5” is a net +1.2 and crosses the five-share level (4.1 – 4.1 – 4.3 – 4.3 – 4.5 – 5.2, seventh to fifth, 6+).

After trending 6.1 – 6.6 – 6.5 – 6.0 (May through August, 6+), Audacy Adult Contemporary WMJX falters by nine-tenths to 5.1 (third to sixth, 6+). “Magic 106.6” was #1 in February; March; and June.

Miami

Not only does Adult Contemporary WFEZ register its fourth straight survey period without a loss for a net +1.8 (5.5 – 5.9 – 5.9 – 6.6 – 7.3, 6+), “Easy 93.1” progresses from second to first. This (7.3) is the best 6+-stat for the Cox Media Group-owned property since January’s 7.5 (6+). It’s thus an August-only stay at #1 for Audacy Classic Hits WMXJ, which suffers the largest (6+) August 2026 – September 2026 erosion by any station in the first two rounds of PPM-data (6.8 – 3.9, -2.9, 6+); “102.7 The Beach” craters from first to eighth. Entering this sweep, “The Beach” had been up or flat the previous four sweeps for an overall +1.6 (5.2 – 5.2 – 5.2 – 5.5 – 6.8, 6+).

Posting upticks of +1.1 and +1.4, respectively, are iHeartMedia Spanish Adult Hits WMIA “Magic 93.9” (5.2 – 6.3, sixth to third, 6+) and Cox Media Group Rhythmic Hot AC WFLC “Hits 97.3” (3.6 – 5.0, ninth to sixth, 6+). “Magic” was up one-tenth in August (5.1 – 5.2, 6+), while “Hits” dropped four-tenths (4.0 – 3.6, 6+).

As a result of tumbling seven-tenths in September (6.5 – 5.8, third to fourth, 6+), Audacy-owned Adult Contemporary WLYF has its combined +.7 in July and August expunged (5.8 – 6.0 – 6.5, 6+); “101.5 Lite FM” was #1 in July.

Seattle

University of Washington-owned KUOW’s modest July gain of three-tenths (74.- 7.7, 6+) was sandwiched between April’s +2.2; June’s -2.7; and August’s +1.7 (7.7 – 9.4, 6+). In September, News/Talk “94.9 KUOW” drops one-half share to 8.9 (6+), but is #1 the ninth straight time.

A combined -1.3 in July and August (3.3 – 2.2 – 2.0, 6+), Audacy Hot AC KSWD not only explodes by +1.9 to 3.9 (6+), “Emma 94.1” rockets from #20 all the way to #9.

On the heels of August’s +1.2 (4.4 – 5.6, 6+), Audacy Alternative KNDD “107.7 The End” relinquishes all but two-tenths to 4.6 (-1.0, 6+), dropping from third to sixth.

Detroit

Audacy Sports Talk/Tigers flagship WXYT-FM follows August’s +1.3 (9.2 – 10.5, 6+) with a loss approximately half that magnitude (9.9, -.6, 6+). Nonetheless, “97.1 The Ticket” – which was a combined +2.6 in March and April (8.6 – 9.0 – 11.2, 6+) – is #1 the ninth month in a row.

On the strength of a +1.1 to 7.0 (6+), iHeartMedia Urban AC WMXD advances from fifth to third; “Mix 92.3” was off an overall six-tenths in July and August (6.5 – 6.0 – 5.9, 6+).

In addition to slipping from third to fourth, Audacy-owned WOMC “104.3 Detroit’s Greatest Hits” is a collective -1.5 in three straight losses (8.1 – 7.5 – 7.2 – 6.6, 6+).

Phoenix

Over and above being a net +2.1in three gains in succession (5.4 – 6.4 – 6.5 – 7.5, 6+), Hubbard Broadcasting-owned KSLX threepeats at #1. “Classic Rock 100.7” had a May-only stay at #1 and tied iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary KESZ for July bragging rights.

With a +.9 to 4.4 (6+), co-owned KUPD not only erases 90% of July and August’s combined -1.0 (4.5 – 4.1 – 3.5, 6+), “Arizona’s Real Rock” rockets from tenth to fifth.

Contrasted to KUPD’s increase of nine-tenths are setbacks of that margin by Maricopa County Community College District News/Talk KJZZ (5.0 – 4.1, fourth to seventh, 6+) and Classical cluster-mate KBAQ “K-Bach” (4.4 – 3.5, #6 to #11, 6+). In six straight up or flat trends, KJZZ was an overall +1.7 (3.3 – 3.9 – 4.5 – 4.5 – 4.8 – 4.9 – 5.0, 6+), while “K-Bach” gained seven-tenths from May through August (3.7 – 3.9 – 4.3 – 4.4, 6+).

Minneapolis

Following July and August’s net gain of nearly four full-shares (7.2 – 8.2 – 11.0, 6+), iHeartMedia Sports Talk KFXN “100.3 The Fan” regresses by six-tenths to 10.4 (6+), but threepeats at #1. Prior to dropping to third in June, “The Fan” spent three straight months at #1.

This marks the fifth survey period in succession without a loss by Hubbard Broadcasting’s KTMY “My Talk 107.1” for a collective gain of a full-share (2.4 – 2.4 – 2.7 – 2.7 – 2.9 – 3.4, #14 to #12, 6+).

Owing to September’s loss of eight-tenths to 6.3 (flat in third-place, 6+), Minnesota Public Radio-owned KNOW “91.1 MPR News” has its collective July and August gain of seven-tenths deleted (6.4 – 6.8 – 6.8 – 7.1, 6+).

San Diego

Setting the pace the sixth consecutive month, Audacy Classic Hits KXSN is an overall +.8 since June (7.5 – 7.8 – 8.1 – 8.3, 6+). “Sunny 98.1”

had a January through July topline of: 7.7 – 7.7 – 7.4 – 7.4 – 7.7 – 7.5 – 7.8 (6+).

Locked on 1.6 (6+) in July and August, Univision Spanish Adult Hits KLQV “Amor 102.9” erupts with a full-share gain (2.6, #18 to #15, 6+) and crosses the two-share level for the first time since “Holiday” 2025’s 2.2 (6+).

After three consecutive sweeps without a loss that generated a +1.2 (4.7 – 5.3 – 5.3 – 5.9, 6+), Audacy Adult Contemporary KYXY “Kick See 96.5” falters by seven-tenths to 5.2 (6+) and slides from second to sixth.

Tampa

Supplementing August’s modest increase of one-tenth with a half-share spike (9.9 – 10.0 – 10.5, 6+), Cox Media Group Adult Contemporary WDUV is #1 the eighth straight month. In June, “Lite Favorites 105.5” matched its “Holiday” 2025 topline (11.0, 6+).

Logging gains of +1.2 are Radio Training Network Contemporary Christian WCIE “The Joy FM,” which continues in second-place, and iHeartMedia Hot AC WMTX “Mix 100.7” (6.1, seventh to third, 6+). Owing to three bumps in a row, “The Joy FM” is a net +2.1 (5.8 – 5.9 – 6.7 – 7.9, 6+); “Mix” was a combined -1.1 in July and August (6.0 – 5.4 – 4.9, 6+). Meanwhile, two iHeartMedia properties improve by a full share: Country WFUS “US-103.5” (4.1 – 5.1, tenth to fifth, 6+) and Sports Talk/Rays flagship WDAE (3.7 – 4.7, #12 to #10, 6+). WFUS was trending 4.3 – 4.7 – 4.1 (June – July -August, 6+); WDAE gained eight-tenths in August (2.9 – 3.7, 6+).

In addition to being an overall -2.2 via four consecutive down or flat trends (6.3 – 5.0 – 4.9 – 4.9 – 4.1, 6+), Cox Media Group Adult Contemporary WWRM “Magic 94.9” departs the top ten (#7 to #11).

Denver

Even though Bonneville International Adult Contemporary KOSI follows August’s +1.4 with a September dip of six-tenths (6.9 – 8.3 – 7.7, 6+), “Real Music Variety” is on top the fifth straight month. August’s 8.3 was its strongest 6+-stat since “Holiday” 2025’s 12.1 (6+).

After trending 5.2 – 5.2 – 5.7 – 5.2 – 5.0 (April through August, 6+), iHeartMedia Alternative KTCL “Channel 93.3” breaks out a +1.4 to 6.4 (6+) and surges from seventh to the runner-up slot.

Immediately after posting August’s +1.2 (2.5 – 3.7, 6+), Audacy Rhythmic CHR KQKS “KS-107.5” surrenders all but one-tenth of that increase to 2.6 (-1.1, #11 to #15, 6+).

Baltimore

Urban One-owned Urban AC WWIN-FM “Magic 95.9” is #1 the ninth time in a row. Its 6+-topline is between 8.1 – 8.9 each month this year (8.7 – 8.9 – 8.4 – 8.3 – 8.1 – 8.3 – 8.4 – 8.9 – 8.6, January through September).

Meanwhile, co-owned Urban Contemporary WERQ “92-Q Jams,” which was trending 4.8 – 4.7 – 4.7 – 4.6 – 4.9 (April through August, 6+), balloons by eight-tenths to 5.7 (fifth to third, 6+), its best 6+-stat since “Holiday” 2025’s 6.9 (6+).

As a result of five successive sweeps without an increase, including September’s loss of eight-tenths, iHeartMedia Country “93.1 WPOC” is an overall -1.7 (6.2 – 5.7 – 5.4 – 5.4 – 5.3 – 4.5, third to seventh, 6+).

St. Louis

Answering August’s massive -2.5 (10.0 – 7.5, 6+) with a September uptick nearly half that magnitude (8.7, +1.2, 6+), iHeartMedia Classic Hits “103.3 KLOU” ascends from third to first. August’s 7.5 was its weakest performance since February (also 7.5, 6+). With the exception of April, Hubbard Broadcasting’s KSHE had been #1 each month this year; however, with a one-tenth loss, it slips to second. This is the fourth downtrend in succession by “Real Rock Radio” for an overall -2.7 (10.9 – 10.5 – 10.3, 8.3 – 8.2, 6+).

Escalating by +1.2 and +1.6, respectively, are Gateway Creative Broadcasting-owned Contemporary Christian KLJY “99.1 Joy FM” (6.1 – 7.3, sixth to third, 6+) and Audacy Urban AC WFUN “96.3 R&B” (4.9 – 6.5, tenth to sixth, 6+). “Joy FM” was off by a combined nine-tenths in July and August ( 7.0 – 6.3 – 6.1, 6+); WFUN dropped a modest one-tenth this time last month (5.0 – 4.9, 6+).

Six straight surges by Audacy-owned KMOX more than doubled (net +4.3) its 6+-topline (3.9 – 4.7 – 5.9 – 6.6 – 6.9 – 7.0 – 8.2, 6+) and brought the Cardinals flagship within one-tenth of the lead. In September, however, “104.1 FM The Voice Of St. Louis” plunges by -1.5 to 6.7 (second to fifth, 6+).

Round Three

Portland

The eight most recent fluctuations (February through September, 6+) by iHeartMedia-owned Classic Hits KLTH have been by at least one-half share: +1.4 (8.4 – 9.8); -1.0 (9.8 – 8.8); another -1.0 (8.8 – 7.8); +1.2 (7.8 – 9.0); +1.0 (9.0 – 10.0); -.9 (10.0 – 9.1); -.8 (9.1 – 8.3); and now -.5 in September (8.3 – 7.8, 6+). A net -2.2 since June (10.0 – 9.1 – 8.3 – 7.8, 6+), “106.7 The Eagle” nonetheless remains #1 the fifth month in a row.

Consistently within 4.1 – 4.8 range (6+) in each of the last eight sweeps (4.2 – 4.5 – 4.2 – 4.6 – 4.1 – 4.4 – 4.8 – 4.1, January through August, 6+), iHeartMedia Rhythmic CHR KXJM “Jam’n 107.5” soars by a full-share to 5.1 (eighth to sixth, 6+).

Up nine-tenths in July (7.0 – 7.9, 6+) and then locked on 7.9 (6+) in August, iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary KKCW plummets by -1.9 to 6.0 (6+) and drops from second to fifth; “K-103” was #1 in December 2025; “Holiday” 2025; and January 2026.

Charlotte

Following April through July’s (6+) 6.5 – 6.9 – 6.7 – 6.6 topline, iHeartMedia Adult Hits WLKO is a combined +1.5 in August and September (6.6 – 8.0 – 8.1, 6+) as “102.9 The Lake” repeats at #1.

Beasley Broadcast Group CHR WNKS “Kiss 95.1” answers its overall -2.2 via four straight downturns (5.7 – 5.2 – 4.6 – 4.0 – 3.5, 6+) with a +1.5 to 5.0 (6+) and vaults into the top ten (#13 to #7).

A combined +1.6 in July and August (5.9 – 7.0 – 7.5, 6+), University Radio Foundation-owned WFAE falters by -1.8 to 5.7 (6+) and slides from second to sixth. “Charlotte’s NPR News Source” was #1 in April; May; and July.

San Antonio

A Cox Media Group-owned outlet is on top again, but this time it’s Classic Hits “KONO-FM 101.1” (8.8, +1.5, second to first, 6+). Leading the way as well in January; May; and June, KONO-FM had been trending  7.7 – 7.9 – 7.3 (June – July – August, 6+). Ousted from the penthouse after an August-only residence and segueing to #2 is co-owned Classic Rock KTKX “106.7 The Eagle,” which is actually an overall +1.5 the past three sweeps (6.1 – 6.8 – 7.4 – 7.6, 6+).

As a result of chalking up a +1.3 to 4.6 (6+), Univision Regional Mexican KROM pulls the plug on three straight losses that resulted in a -1.2 (4.5 – 4.0 – 3.9 – 3.3, 6+); “Que Buena 92.9” cracks the top ten (#11 to #7). A combined -1.5 in July and August (3.7 – 3.0 – 2.2, 6+), iHeartMedia-owned Spanish Contemporary KZEP “104.5 Latino Hits” erases all but three-tenths of that shortfall with a +1.2 to 3.4 (#17 to #12, 6+). “Latino Hits” was without a loss between January and June for an overall +2.1, more than doubling its 6+-stat (1.6 – 2.3 – 3.4 – 3.4 – 3.5 – 3.7, 6+).

Following gains of nine-tenths in July and a half-share in August (3.4 – 4.3 – 4.8, 6+), Cox Media Group’s “99.5 KISS Rocks San Antonio”  regresses by nine-tenths to 3.9 (fifth to ninth, 6+).

Sacramento

Last month’s deadlock at the top is broken, as Audacy Classic Rock KSEG “96.9 The Eagle” erupts with a +1.3 to 9.8 (6+) and threepeats at #1, while iHeartMedia-owned KFBK “News 93.1” falters by seven-tenths and moves from a first-place tie to the runner-up slot. “The Eagle” was locked on 8.2 (6+) in May and June and then stuck on 8.5 (6+) in July and August. “News 93.1” had been an overall +1.9 via three straight upticks (6.6 – 6.9 – 8.4 – 8.5, 6+). “The Eagle” was #1 in March and May; “News 93.1” was on top in January and February.

Improving by six-tenths are iHeartMedia Urban-Rhythmic Oldies KHYL “V-101.1” (ninth to sixth, 6+) and Audacy’s KRXQ “98 Rock” (#11 to #8, 6+). “V-101.1” nets two full-shares since June (3.0 – 3.7 – 4.4 – 5.0, 6+), while “98 Rock” is within 4.1 – 4.8 the eighth straight time (4.1 – 4.8 – 4.6 – 4.7 – 4.7 – 4.4 – 4.2 – 4.8, 6+).

After being a combined +1.5 in July and August (3.1 – 3.4 – 4.6, 6+), Bonneville Hot AC KZZO “Now 100.5” erodes by -1.1 to 3.5 (#7 to #12, 6+). Meanwhile, a net +2.1 in the same timeframe (2.2 – 2.8 4.3, 6+), Audacy-owned “102.5 KSFM” forfeits one full-share to 3.3 (#10 to #13, 6+).

Pittsburgh

Nearly replicating August’s increase of nine-tenths (10.8 – 11.7 – 12.5, +.8, 6+), iHeartMedia Classic Hits WWSW “94.5 3WS” repeats at #1. “94.5 3WS” also led the way in February; March; May; and June. It’s in double-digits (6+) the 15th consecutive time and 17th in the last 18 survey periods.

In addition to rebounding from August’s -.8 with a +1.1, Audacy Sports Talk KDKA-FM “93.7 The Fan” is in double-digits the fourth month in a row (10.8 – 11.9 – 11.1 – 12.2, 6+) and carries on in the runner-up slot. “The Fan” was on top in January; April; and July.

Owing to three straight setbacks, KDKA-FM’s Country sibling – WDSY “Y-108” – is an overall -1.7 (5.2 – 4.7 – 4.6 – 3.5, 6+) and exits the top ten (#7 to #11).

Salt Lake City

For the third month in a row, Bonneville International’s KRSP “103.5 The Arrow” posts a 7.7 (6+) and is #1 the ninth consecutive time. “The Arrow” was a combined +1.9 in March and April (7.5 – 8.6 – 9.4, 6+), but a collective -1.7 since then (9.4 – 8.7 – 8.0 – 7.7 – 7.7 – 7.7, 6+).

Owing to September’s uptick of seven-tenths to 3.4 (#13 to #10, 6+), iHeartMedia’s “Talk Radio 105.9 KNRS” curtails five successive setbacks that essentially sliced its topline in half (5.2 – 4.1 – 3.6 – 3.2 – 3.0 – 2.7, 6+).

Up or flat the past three sweeps for a collective gain of seven-tenths (3.5 – 3.5 – 4.1 – 4.2, 6+), Broadway Media Adult Hits KYMV “Bob FM” forfeits six tenths to 3.6 (eighth to ninth, 6+).

Las Vegas

Following a steady May – June – July – August topline of 7.2 – 7.1 – 7.7 – 7.5 (6+), iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary KSNE relinquishes seven-tenths to 6.8 (6+). Nonetheless, “Sunny 106.5” is #1 the fifth month in a row.

Lotus Communications-owned Classic Rock KXPT “97.1 The Point” doubles August’s dip of four-tenths (5.0 – 4.6, 6+) into a September increase of eight-tenths to 5.4 (fifth to fourth, 6+).

Co-owned “KOMP 92.3 The Rock Station,” which had been up or flat four straight months for a net +1.5 (3.3 – 3.3 – 4.3 – 4.6 – 4.8, March through July 6+), is a combined -1.6 in August and September (4.8 – 3.8 – 3.2, flat at #7, 6+).

Orlando

Notwithstanding that it returns the seven-tenths it reaped this time last month (9.9 – 10.6 – 9.9, 6+), iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary WMGF is #1 the 11th time in a row. Entering the May sweep, “Magic” was in double-digits six consecutive times: 14.5 – 21.0 – 10.8 – 11.0 – 11.0 – 10.3 (6+), but then trended 9.3 – 9.0 – 9.9 (May – June – July, 6+).

Having lost two full-shares as a result of three losses in succession (7.2 – 6.6 – 5.8 – 5.2, 6+), Cox Media Group Urban AC WCFB “Star 94.5” recaptures 55% with a +1.1 to 6.3 (sixth to fifth, 6+). With a robust +1.7 to 6.0 (eighth to sixth, 6+) Country cluster-mate, WWKA “K-92.3,” more than eradicates July and August’s combined full-share loss (5.3 – 4.8 – 4.3, 6+). Meanwhile, iHeartMedia’s Spanish Tropical WRUM “Rumba 100.3” tacks on a +1.2 to August’s modest increase of two-tenths (4.1 – 4.3 – 5.5, 6+) and continues in eighth-place.

Cox Media Group-owned “98.9 WMMO Orlando’s Classic Hits” continues its crazy rollercoaster ride. Its four most recent fluctuations are: +1.4 (6.5 – 7.9, June, 6+); -.5 (7.9 – 7.4, July, 6+) +1.5 (7.4 – 8.9, August); and it now erodes by a substantial -2.2 (8.9 – 6.7, second to third, 6+).

Cincinnati

Despite dropping nine-tenths, following July and August’s net +1.9 (9.5 – 10.3 – 11.4 – 10.5, 6+), iHeartMedia’s WLW “News Radio 700” threepeats at #1. The Reds flagship was also #1 in February; March; and April.

Via four straight sweeps without a loss, including September’s hefty +1.6, WLW’s Rock Sibling, “102.7 WEBN,” is an overall +1.9 (2.9 – 2.9 – 3.0 – 3.2 – 4.8, sixth to fourth, 6+). A combined -2.1 in July and August (5.0 – 4.4 – 2.9, 6+), Cincinnati Public Radio-owned WGUC  answers with a +1.2 to 4.1 (seventh to sixth, 6+). “Classical 90.9” entered the July sweep with a net +1.3 through four straight months without a loss (3.7 – 3.9 – 3.9 – 4.4 – 5.0, 6+).

The four most recent (6+) vacillations by Hubbard Broadcasting Hot AC WREW “Mix 94.9” have been: back-to-back increases of nine-tenths (June and July); August’s full-share gain; and now September’s half-share deficit (4.1 – 5.0 – 5.9 – 4.9 – 4.4, fourth to fifth, 6+).

Cleveland

Powered by a whopping +1.8, “93.1 WZAK” progresses from third to first and is in an alternating up/down pattern (6.9 – 8.0 – 7.9 – 9.7, June through September, 6+). The Urban One-owned Urban AC succeeds iHeartMedia’s WTAM “News Radio 1100 AM,” which shifts to the runner-up slot (9.0 – 8.6, -.4, 6+). WTAM was on top in April; May; June; and August.

Factoring in September’s +1.5, Audacy Sports Talk WKRK “92.3 The Fan” is a whopping net +3.5 in three straight bumps (5.1 – 5.7 – 7.1 – 8.6, 6+) and progresses from fourth to second. Trending 5.3 – 5.6 – 5.3 (June – July – August, 6+), iHeartMedia Adult hits WHLK “Lake” logs a +1.1 to 6.3 (6+) and zooms from tenth to sixth.

Also in the iHeartMedia cluster, Classic Hits WMJI “Majic 105.7” (8.1 – 7.1, second to fifth, 6+) and co-owned Country “99.5 WGAR” (5.9 – 4.9, seventh to tenth, 6+) each spiral by a full-share. “Majic” had a July-only stay at #1 and has now lost two full-shares since June (9.1 – 8.8 – 8.1 – 7.1, 6+); WGAR was down seven-tenths in August (6.6 – 5.9, 6+).

Kansas City

On top the eighth month in a row, Steel City Media CHR KMXV “Mix 93.3” is up a modest combined four-tenths the past two sweeps (6.8 – 6.9 – 7.2, 6+).

This proves to be a good survey period for two of the market’s Country-formatted outlets: KMXV cluster-mate KFKF “Country 94.1” (3.4 – 4.6, +1.2, eighth to sixth, 6+) and Audacy’s WDAF “106.5 The Wolf” (2.6 – 4.1, +1.5, #11 to #8, 6+). “Country 94.1” rebounds from August’s -.4 (3.8 – 3.4, 6+); “The Wolf” was up three-tenths last month (2.3 – 2.6, 6+). In the Audacy cluster, Hot AC KZPT “99.7 The Point” is +1.7 (5.0 – 6.7, fifth to second, 6+) and Sports Talk/Royals flagship KFNZ “96.5 The Fan” is +1.3 (3.8 – 5.1, seventh to fourth, 6+). Owing to five straight sweeps without a loss, “The Point” has netted three full-shares (3.7 – 4.4 – 4.4 – 4.5 – 5.0 – 6.7, 6+), while “The Fan” is an overall +1.8 since June (3.3 – 3.3 – 3.8 – 5.1, 6+).

Meanwhile, Audacy News/Talk “98.1 KMBZ-FM,” which lost a half-share in August, now squanders nine-tenths in September (5.3 – 4.8 – 3.9, sixth to ninth, 6+).

Columbus

Over and above boasting a net +3.2 since June (5.3 – 5.8 – 6.8 – 8.5, 6+), Tegna Sports Talk WBNS-FM “97.1 The Fan” skates from third to first with its best 6+-showing (8.5) since December 2025’s 10.1 (6+). The Blue Jackets flagship succeeds a pair of iHeartMedia outlets who were tied at #1 in August. Country-formatted “92.3 WCOL” plunges by a combined -2.3 in August and September (9.1 – 8.2 – 6.8, 6+), drifting from a first-place tie to fourth. On top the past eight months, WCOL was an overall +1.7 in May – June – July (7.4 – 7.7 – 8.8 – 9.1, 6+). CHR sibling – WNCI – which had been trending 6.3 – 6.5 – 6.2 (May – June – July, 6+), spiked two full-shares in August to 8.2 (6+), but “97.9 Columbus’ Hit Music” surrenders 45% of that expansion (8.2 – 7.3, -.9, 6+) and falls from a first-place tie to third.

Urban AC WXMG more than doubles August’s increase of eight-tenths with a lofty +2.1 (5.3 – 6.1 – 8.2, 6+) and the Urban One-owned facility  advances from fifth to second. Entering the August sweep, “Magic 95.5” was down or flat seven straight sweeps for an overall -1.2 (6.5 – 6.5 – 6.5 – 6.0 – 5.4 – 5.4 – 5.4 – 5.3, 6+).

In July, August, and September, North American Broadcasting Company Adult Contemporary WJKR-HD2 has been +1.4; -.8, and -1.0, respectively (1.3 – 2.7 – 1.9 – .9, #17 to #20, 6+). Its “Holiday” 2025 through June 2026 topline was exclusively in one-share range (1.0 – 1.2 – 1.6 – 1.8 – 1.8 – 1.7 – 1.3, 6+).

Round Four

Austin

University of Texas at Austin-owned News/Talk “KUT 90.5” repeats August’s 9.5 (6+) and sets the pace the seventh month in a row.

Logging increases of eight-tenths are KUT’s Triple A sibling – “98.9 KUTX” (7.0 – 7.8, third to second, 6+) – and Audacy Adult Contemporary KKMJ “Majic 95.5” (4.7 – 5.5, sixth to fourth, 6+). KUTX is rebounding from last month’s -1.3 (8.3 – 7.0, 6+), while “Majic” picked up three-tenths in August (4.4 – 4.7, 6+).

After more than doubling July’s +.9 with August’s +2.1 (6.1 – 7.0 – 9.1, 6+), Waterloo Media Group Adult Hits KBPA “103.5 Bob FM” relinquishes roughly half that net gain of three full-shares with a -1.6 to 7.5 (second to third, 6+).

Raleigh

On the heels of August’s strong +1.6, North Carolina at Chapel Hill-owned WUNC “North Carolina Public Radio” slips a modest two-tenths (9.6 – 9.4, 6+), but is #1 the 18th consecutive survey period.

A combined -1.1 the past two sweeps (7.0 – 6.6 – 5.9, 6+), Curtis Media Group Country-formatted WQDR-FM “94.7 QDR” erases that deficit with a +1.4 to 7.3 (6+) and jumps from sixth to second. Off four-tenths this time last month (3.7 – 3.3, 6+), iHeartMedia’s “100.7 WRDU Everything Rock & Alternative” notches an improvement four-times that magnitude (4.9, +1.6, tenth to eighth, 6+). In a somewhat similar vein, Urban One-owned Gospel WNNL “The Light 103.9” erases July and August’s combined loss of four-tenths (3.1 – 2.8 – 2.7, 6+) with a September uptick three times as large (3.9, +1.2, steady at #11, 6+).

In the Curtis Media Group, Classic Hits WKIX-FM “KIX 102” (8.0 – 6.1, second to fifth, 6+) and Adult Hits sibling, WBBB “96.1 BBB” (7.2 – 6.0, fourth to sixth, 6+) are -1.9 and -1.2, respectively. Entering this sweep, “KIX” was an overall +1.7 via three straight increases (6.3 – 6.8 – 7.4 – 8.0, 6+). WBBB has a nearly identical story, posting a net +1.9 the past three months (5.3 – 6.2 – 6.3 – 7.2, 6+). Backsliding by one full-share are Urban One Urban AC WFXC “Foxy” (6.8, third to fourth, 6+) and Educational Information Corporation-owned WCPE “The Classical Station” (4.4, eighth to ninth, 6+). “Foxy” had an April through August topline of 7.7 – 7.0 – 7.0 – 7.1 – 7.8 (6+); WCPE lost one-half share in August (5.9 – 5.4, 6+).

Indianapolis

A whopping +1.5 by Adult Contemporary WYXB enables “B-105.7” to reach double-digits (8.5 – 10.0, 6+) for the first time since “Holiday” 2025’s 13.7 (6+). Moreover, the Urban One-owned property repeats at #1, a position it also held in March and June.

WYXB has a full-share lead over Urban AC sibling, “106.7 WTLC-FM,” which rebounds from August’s -1.8 with a +1.0 (9.8 – 8.0 – 9.0, 6+) and carries on in the runner-up slot. WTLC-FM was tied for the lead in April and in sole possession of #1 the following month.

Slumping by -1.2 and a full-share, respectively, are Metropolitan Indianapolis Public Broadcasting News/Talk WFYI (7.5 – 6.3, flat at #3, 6+) and Sarkes Tarzian Triple A “92.3 WTTS Experience The Music” (5.2 – 4.2, unchanged at #6, 6+). After posting a +1.8 in June (5.2 – 7.0, 6+), WFYI had a June – July – August topline of 7.0 – 7.2 – 7.5 (6+). Meanwhile, WTTS continues an alternating up/down sequence that surfaced in May (4.9 – 5.2 – 4.6 – 5.2 – 4.2, 6+).

Milwaukee

An overall +2.0 in July and August (8.7 – 9.4 – 10.7, 6+), iHeartMedia Classic Hits WRIT has that entire increase (plus two-tenths more) vanish with a massive -2.2 to 8.5 (6+). Nonetheless, “95.7 Big FM” is #1 the sixth successive month. For six months in a row, WRIT’s 6+-stat was within 8.4 – 8.8 range (8.8 – 8.8 – 8.6 – 8.8 – 8.4 – 8.7, January through June, 6+).

Following July and August’s combined -1.5 (6.3 – 5.8 – 4.8, 6+), Good Karma Broadcasting News/Talk and Brewers flagship “620 WTMJ Wisconsin’s Radio Station” bounces back with a +1.2 to 6.0 (6+) and returns back to fourth from ninth.

Within 4.0 – 4.8 range (6+) the past six months (4.8 – 4.3 – 4.3 – 4.0 – 4.4 – 4.7, 6+), iHeartMedia Urban Contemporary WKKV “V-100.7” regresses by nine-tenths to 3.8 (#10 to #12, 6+).

Nashville

Not only does WJXA improve by eight-tenths (12.0 – 12.8, 6+), the Midwest Communications Adult Contemporary outlet is #1 the 13th straight time and posts double-digits (6+) the 11th consecutive sweep. Entering this survey period, “Mix 92.9” plummeted by a collective three shares since May (15.0 – 13.9 – 13.3 – 12.0, 6+).

In the last four sweeps, Nashville Public Radio-owned WPLN-FM has registered increases of +.5 (June); +1.8 (July); +1.0 (August); and now +1.2 in September for a net +4.5 (5.0 – 5.5 – 7.3 – 8.3 – 9.5, third to second, 6+). In May, WPLN-FM (then in sixth-place) trailed pacesetter WJXA by ten full-shares, but has cut the lead to 3.5 shares (6+).

A full-share loss (8.7 – 7.7, second to third, 6+) takes Midwest Communications Adult Hits WCJK “96.3 Jack FM” back to where it was in May (7.7 – 8.4 – 8.3 – 8.7 – 7.7, May through September, 6+).  Dropping from eighth to tenth, WAY Media Contemporary Christian WAYM “88.7 WAY FM” is a combined -1.4 in August and September (4.3 – 4.0 – 2.9, 6+).

Providence

An increase of two-tenths to 9.6 (6+) by Hall Communications-owned WCTK halts a string of three declines in a row that led to a net loss of -1.4 (10.8 – 10.2 – 9.8 – 9.4, 6+). Moreover, an overall +4.2 between “Holiday” 2025 and May 2026 (6.6 – 7.5 – 9.1 – 9.4 – 10.1 – 10.8, 6+), “Cat Country 98.1” is #1 the eighth straight month.

As a result of four consecutive sweeps without a loss, Ocean State Media-owned Public News/Talk WPVD exactly doubles its 6+-stat (.9 – .9 – 1.0 – 1.5 – 1.8, #7, 6+). Prior to this past May, Audacy Sports Talk WVEI occupied WPVD’s 103.7 frequency.

A collective +1.7 via three straight sweeps without a loss (5.3 – 5.7 – 5.7 – 7.0, 6+), iHeartMedia Hot AC WSNE “Now 93.3” stumbles by six-tenths to 6.4 (third to fourth, 6+).

Jacksonville

Surrendering 40% of August’s massive +2.0 (10.3 – 12.3 – 11.5, -.8, 6+), Renda Media Adult Contemporary “96.1 WEJZ” is nonetheless #1 the seventh consecutive month and in double-digits (6+) the 11th  straight time. WEJZ entered the August survey period a combined -1.5 in June and July (11.8 – 10.6 – 10.3, 6+).

Three iHeartMedia-owned facilities improve by a full-share: Urban AC WSOL “V-101.5” (6.0 – 7.0, fifth to third, 6+); Urban Contemporary WJBT “93.3 The Beat” (ninth to sixth, 6+) and Rock WPLA “107.3 Planet Radio” (2.5 – 3.5, #13 to #12, 6+). “V101-1” was off four-tenths in August (6.4 – 6.0, 6+). “The Beat” is an overall +2.4 via three straight upticks (3.9 – 4.3 – 5.3 – 6.3, 6+). Albeit a combined -1.4 in August and September after July’s +1.0 (14.8 – 15.8 – 14.7 –14.4, 6+), Hubbard Broadcasting-owned Classic Hits WEAT “Sunny 107.9” is both #1 the 13th consecutive time – and – in double-digits the 13th straight time. A -6.3 back in January ended WEAT’s string of seven successive increases that netted an astonishing +14.3 (4.9 – 5.3 – 6.6 – 8.8 – 11.6 – 13.3 – 14.5 – 19.2, 6+).

Following an April through August topline of 4.2 – 4.5 – 4.5 – 4.7 – 4.5 (6+), iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary WOLL “Kool 105.5” (fifth to third) erupts with a +1.3 to 5.8, its strongest 6+-stat since December 2025’s 8.8 (6+). On the heels of August’s +.9 to 2.2 (6+), Glades Media Group Regional Mexican WLLY “La Ley 99.5” has its 6+-stat carved in half to 1.1 (6+) and exits the top ten (#9 to #14). Between “Holiday” 2025 and July 2026, “La Ley” had been within 1.0 – 1.3 range (6+).

Greensboro

After netting a +2.9 in June and July (9.3 – 11.0 – 12.2, 6+), Audacy Urban AC WQMG is a combined -1.7 in August and September (12.2 – 11.9 – 10.5, (6+). In any event, “97.1 QMG” threepeats at #1. WQMG spiraled in May by -2.6 to 9.3 (6+), exiting the top spot it held the previous four months.

Factoring in September’s +1.5, iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary WMAG “Mix 99.5” continues an alternating up/down pattern that commenced in April (8.9 – 9.8 – 9.3 – 10.0 – 8.6 – 10.1, fourth to second, 6+). Audacy’s Country-formatted WPAW “93.1 The Wolf” answers August’s -1.3 (5.8 – 4.5, 6+) with a full-share gain to 5.5 (sixth to fifth, 6+). Entering the August sweep, “The Wolf” logged four straight stats in five-share range (5.1 – 5.2 – 5.9 – 5.8, 6+).

Owing to September’s -1.4 to 9.9 (second to third, 6+), Audacy Adult Hits WSMW “98.7 Simon” is down or flat the third straight month and fails to reach double-digits (6+) for the first time since January (10.4 – 12.3 – 11.3 – 10.9 – 11.4 – 11.3 – 11.3, February through August, 6+).

Memphis

Responding to August’s decrease of four-tenths with a gain of six-tenths (13.8 – 13.4 – 14.0, 6+), iHeartMedia Urban AC KJMS sets the pace the 35th time in a row. “V-101” reaches a 14-share (14.0, 6+) for the first time since “Holiday” 2025 (14.1, 6+).

An overall -2.3 (10.7 – 9.5 – 9.3 – 8.4, May through August, 6+), Audacy Adult Contemporary WRVR “104.5 The River” recaptures approximately half that deficit with a +1.1 to 9.5 (6+) and advances from third to second. Meanwhile, iHeartMedia-owned Gospel WHAL doubles WRVR’s +1.1 with a +2.2 (4.8 – 7.0, fifth to fourth, 6+). This halts a string of five straight down or flat trends by “Halleluiah 95.7” that eventuated with a net loss of four full-shares (8.8 – 8.8 – 7.9 – 6.5 – 5.3 – 4.8, 6+).

Following a June – July – August topline of 9.7 – 9.5 – 9.4 (6+), WHAL’s Urban Contemporary sibling – WHRK “K-97” – nosedives by two full-shares to 7.4 (second to third, 6+). “K-97” hadn’t been in seven-share range (6+) since March (7.9, 6+).

Hartford

Off a modest three-tenths following August’s surge of two full-shares (8.0 – 10.0 – 9.7, 6+), Audacy Adult Contemporary WRCH “Lite 100.5” repeats at #1. Immediately prior to August, “Lite” was without an increase five months in a row for a net loss of nearly four full-shares (11.8 – 10.7 – 9.9 – 9.9 – 8.3 – 8.0, 6+). WRCH was on top 22 consecutive times before being displaced in April by iHeartMedia’s WWYZ “Country 92.5.”

September’s +1.5 to 7.7 (6+) by iHeartMedia-owned Classic Hits WHCN “The River 105.9” (sixth to fourth) erases all but two tenths of its June through August net -1.7 (7.9 – 6.7 – 6.2, 6+).

Audacy Rhythmic CHR WZMX “Hot 93.7” follows August’s loss of a half-share with a -.7 (8.0 – 7.5 – 6.8, 6+) and slides from third to fifth.
