Shown here are my takeaways from all 48 PPM-measured markets, based on Nielsen Audio’s 6+ total week stats from the June 2026 ratings period.

Round One

New York

Doubling May’s dip of two-tenths with a June loss of four-tenths (8.1 – 7.9 – 7.5, 6+), iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary WLTW “106.7 Lite FM” is  nonetheless #1 the fourth straight month. Entering the May sweep, “Lite” was an overall +1.1 via three consecutive up or flat trends (7.0 – 7.4 – 7.4 – 8.1, 6+).

As a result of tacking on a massive +1.2 to May’s modest increase of two-tenths (1.9 – 2.1 – 3.3, 6+), New York Public Radio-owned/Classical-formatted WQXR jumps from #16 to #13.

After trending in the four-share range in each of the last six sweeps (4.4 – 4.6 – 4.4 – 4.8 – 4.6 – 4.2, 6+), MediaCo Urban AC WBLS “Your #1 Source For R&B” forfeits seven-tenths to 3.7 (6+) and exits the top ten (#7 to #11).

Los Angeles

Even though iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary KOST relinquishes six-tenths to match its 6.5 (6+) March topline, “Coast 103.5” is #1 the eighth successive ratings period. From September through “Holiday” 2025, “Coast” more than doubled (net +7.8) its 6+-share (5.5 – 5.7 – 6.5 – 11.2 – 13.3, 6+) and had been without a loss the third successive sweep for a net gain of nine-tenths (6.2 – 6.5 – 7.1 – 7.1, 6+).

Locked on 1.1 (6+) in April and May, Entravision Spanish Adult Hits KLYY “Jose” breaks out a full-share gain to 2.1 (6+) and resurfaces at #18.

Slipping by three-tenths each are: Audacy Adult Hits KCBS-FM “93.1 Jack FM,” which is trending 4.9 – 4.6 – 4.9 – 4.6 (steady in fourth-place, 6+); co-owned KNX-AM “News AM 1070” (3.5 – 3.2, #8 to #11, 6+); and iHeartMedia Alternative KYSR “Alt 98.7,” which logs a 6+-stat between 3.1 – 3.8 the 11th straight time (3.4 – 3.1 – #11 to #15, 6+). In mid-May (5-18), KNX-AM & KNX-FM pulled the plug on its all-News simulcast. The former continued as “News AM 1070,” while KNX-FM transitioned to Sports Talk “97.1 The Fan.”

Chicago

Owing to a June bump of four-tenths (5.6 – 6.0, 6+), Hubbard Broadcasting Hot AC WTMX takes over sole possession of first-place. Entering the June sweep, “101.9 Mix” had a very consistent January 2026 through May 2026 trend of: 5.5 – 5.4 – 5.6 – 5.7 – 5.6 (6+). Following three consecutive stays at #1 – including May’s tie with “Mix” – Audacy Triple A WXRT (flat at 5.6, 6+) takes over in the runner-up slot. Prior to the May survey period, “93 XRT” was a combined +1.8 in four improvements in a row (4.5 – 5.4 – 5.6 – 6.1 – 6.3, 6+).

The January through May topline for Audacy Country WUSN ranged between a 4.0 – 4.8 (4.0 – 4.8 – 4.4 – 4.4 – 4.5, 6+). In June, however, “US-99” posts an increase of nine-tenths to 5.4 (6+) and advances from sixth to fourth.

In contrast to WUSN’s uptick of nine-tenths, Hubbard Broadcasting Classic Rock WDRV “97.1 The Drive” falters by that margin (5.3 – 4.4, -.9, fourth to sixth, 6+).

San Francisco

An overall +1.4 through three spikes in succession (8.6 – 9.2 – 9.3 – 10.0, 6+), KQED Inc.-owned public News/Talk KQED is #1 the sixth consecutive time. KQED regressed by -1.3 in March (9.9 – 8.6, 6+).

On the heels of a March – April – May topline of 4.8 – 4.6 – 4.8 (6+), Connoisseur Media’s newly-acquired (from Bonneville International) Adult Contemporary KOIT-FM “96.5 Better Music For A Better Workday” records a +.6 to 5.4 (fourth to third, 6+). This (5.4) is KOIT-FM’s best 6+-stat since “Holiday” 2025’s 9.9 (6+).

Six-tenths proves to be a common (6+) May 2026 – June 2026 fluctuation here. In addition to KOIT-FM’s improvement by that margin, four other outlets slide by it. Included in that quartet are: iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary KISQ “98.1 The Breeze” (5.3 – 4.7, third to fourth, 6+); co-owned Hot AC KIOI “Star 101.3” (4.7 – 4.1, flat at #5, 6+); former Bonneville International property, Connoisseur Media CHR KMVQ “99.7 Now,” which has an identical-to-“Star” profile (4.7 – 4.1, unchanged in fifth-place, 6+); and Univision Spanish Adult Hits KBRG “Amor 100.3” (2.7 – 2.1, #11 to #13, 6+).

Dallas

In addition to being a combined +1.2 in May and June (4.2 – 4.9 – 5.4, 6+), iHeartMedia-owned Adult Contemporary KDGE “Star 102.1” repeats at #1. “Star” had a January through May topline of: 4.4 – 4.2 – 4.3 – 4.2 – 4.9 (6+).

Educational Media Foundation-owned/Contemporary Christian-formatted KYDA boasts the largest (6+) May 2026 – June 2026 uptick by any station in the first round of PPM-data. “Air 1” notches a whopping +2.7 to 5.2 (6+) and rockets from #15 all the way to #2. It’s been quite a whirlwind for KYDA, which doubled (net +1.7) its 6+ topline in five successive sweeps without a loss (1.9 – 2.3 – 2.6 – 2.6 – 3.4, 6+), but surrendered nine-tenths in May (3.4 – 2.5, 6+).

Steady between 3.4 – 3.9 the past five months (3.4 – 3.8 – 3.8 – 3.9 – 3.6, 6+), North Texas Public Broadcasting’s “90.1 KERA News” drops seven-tenths to 2.9 (#8 to #13, 6+).

Houston

Down or flat six straight sweeps for a net -7.8 (16.4 – 13.3 – 9.7 – 9.0 – 9.0 – 9.0 – 8.6, 6+), iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary KODA answers with a June gain of seven-tenths to 9.4 (6+). Moreover, “Sunny 99.1” is #1 the 11th consecutive time.

Improving by one-half share are Urban One Classic Rock KGLK “The Eagle” (6.4 – 6.9, steady in third-place, 6+) and Spanish Broadcasting System-owned Regional Mexican KROI “La Ley 92.1” (2.4 – 2.9, #16 to #15, 6+).  In four straight gains, “The Eagle” is a net +2.2 (4.7 – 5.4 – 5.5 – 6.4 – 6.9, 6+). “La Ley” had lost a full-share since February (3.4 – 2.9 – 2.9 – 2.4, 6+).

Following back-to-back pickups that yielded a full-share (4.6 – 5.3 – 5.6, 6+), Hope Media Group Contemporary Christian KSBJ “89.3 God Listens” returns that increase in full (4.6, -1.0, fourth to eighth, 6+).

Atlanta

Over and above being up a combined half-share in May and June (7.0 – 7.1 – 7.5, 6+), Cox Media Group-owned WSB-AM & WSBB “Atlanta’s News Talk 750 & 95.5” progresses from third to first. It dislodges cluster-mate WSRV “97.1 The River” (7.6 – 6.0, -1.6, 6+), which – after a May-only stay at #1 – tumbles to fourth. “The River” had been a net +1.9 in five increases in succession (5.7 – 6.4 – 6.8 – 7.0 – 7.4 – 7.6, 6+).

Whereas “The River” craters by -1.6 (7.6 – 6.0, 6+), Urban One Gospel WPZE “Praise 102.5” dials up a +1.6 (2.6 – 4.2, 6+) and enters the top ten (#11 to #8). “Praise” lost a combined nine-tenths the past three months (3.5 – 3.5 – 2.9 – 2.6, 6+).

A consistent 3.8 – 3.6 – 3.8 – 3.5 – 3.6 (January through May, 6+), Audacy Hot AC WSTR “Star 94” backslides by a full-share to 2.6 (6+) and departs the top ten (#8 to #13).

Philadelphia

The combination of Audacy-owned “Sports Radio 94 WIP” faltering by nine-tenths (8.0 – 7.1, third straight month at #1, 6+) and Beasley Broadcast Group’s “93.3 WMMR Rocks” gaining a half-share (6.6 – 7.1, #3 to #1, 6+) results in a first-place tie between those two. Phillies flagship WIP had been a net +1.5 in three straight upticks (6.5 – 6.6 – 7.4 – 8.0, 6+). Meanwhile, this is the third time in the last six months that WMMR has logged a 7.1 (7.1 – 7.1 – 5.8 – 6.9 – 6.6 – 7.1, 6+).

Without an increase the past three months for a net loss of -1.8 (5.0 – 4.3 – 3.2 – 3.2, 6+), Educational Media Foundation Contemporary Christian WKVP “K-Love 106.9” rebounds with a +1.1 to 4.1 (#11 to #8, 6+).

Following a January through May topline of: 2.7 – 2.5 – 2.5 – 2.3 – 2.4 (6+), Audacy’s “Talk Radio 1201 WPHT” squanders nine-tenths to 1.5 (6+) and is flat at #19.

Nassau-Suffolk (Long Island)

Notwithstanding it’s an overall -2.9 the last four months (10.6 – 8.9 – 8.8 – 8.3 – 7.7, 6+), Audacy-owned all-News “1010 WINS at 92.3 FM” sets the pace the sixth time in a row. Entering the February survey period, WINS-FM was up four full-shares via three straight gains (6.6 – 7.0 – 9.2 – 10.6, 6+).

An increase of eight-tenths to 5.2 (seventh to fifth, 6+) by Red Apple Media’s “Talk Radio 77 WABC” pulls the plug on seven successive sweeps without an increase that resulted in a collective -3.8 (8.2 – 6.9 – 6.5 – 6.3 – 6.0 – 6.0 – 4.4 – 4., 6+).

Immediately after flaunting May’s +1.2 (3.2 – 4.4, 6+), Connoisseur Media Adult Contemporary WKJY “K-Joy 98.3” returns all but one-tenth (4.4 – 3.3, -1.1, seventh to tenth, 6+). Prior to May 2026, the last time “K-Joy” reached a four-share (6+) was in June 2025 (4.4, 6+).

Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario

After being down or flat the past three months for a net -1.1 (10.2 – 9.2 – 9.1 – 9.1, 6+), Entravision Spanish Adult Hits KLYY registers a +.4 to 9.5 (6+), as “Jose” is #1 the 19th time in succession. KLYY was a combined +2.6 in January and February (7.6 – 9.4 – 10.2, 6+).

Two Anaheim Broadcasting cluster-mates are up nine-tenths: Classic Hits “KOLA 99.9,” a combined +1.7 in three straight gains (4.5 – 4.9 – 5.3 – 6.2, repeats in the runner-up slot, 6+) and “96.7 KCAL Rocks” (2.0 – 2.9, #12 to #6, 6+), which had been off seven-tenths in three losses in a row (2.7 – 2.4 – 2.1 – 2.0, 6+).

Including June’s loss of seven-tenths, Meruelo Group Spanish Contemporary KLLI “Cali 93.9” is a combined -1.2 since March (3.0 – 2.6 – 2.5 – 1.8, #7 to #14, 6+).

San Jose

Following four straight improvements that garnered an overall +2.6 (4.9 – 6.2 – 7.1 – 7.3 – 7.5, 6+), Univision Spanish Adult Hits KBRG is a combined -1.7 in May and June (7.5 – 6.6 – 5.8, 6+). Even so “Amor 100.3” is #1 the fifth time in the last six months. An unlisted nonsubscriber in February, KBRG was also on top in January and March.

Two facilities Connoisseur Media acquired from Bonneville International in May are up eight-tenths: Classic Rock KUFX “98.5 K-Fox”” (4.5 – 5.3, fifth to third, 6+) and Adult Contemporary KOIT-FM “96.5 Better Music For A Better Workday” (3.6 – 4.4, eighth to fifth, 6+). “K-Fox” is now a net +1.1 since March (4.2 – 4.4 – 4.5 – 5.3, 6+). KOIT-FM curtails five straight slides that resulted in an overall loss of eight full-shares (11.6 – 4.7 – 4.5 – 4.1 – 3.7 – 3.6, 6+).

Another station Connoisseur Media purchased from Bonneville International in May, CHR KMVQ, isn’t quite as fortunate, as “99.7 Now” has its third straight decline for a collective -1.6 (5.3 – 5.0 – 4.8 – 3.7, third to seventh, 6+).

Middlesex-Somerset-Union

Down a combined six-tenths in March and April (8.6 – 8.0 – 8.0, 6+), iHeartMedia Classic Rock WAXQ “Q-104.3” bounces back with a net +.8 in May and June (8.0 – 8.5 – 8.8, 6+) and is #1 the sixth consecutive month.

An overall -2.6 in three losses in succession (4.4 – 3.1 – 2.4 – 1.8, 6+), Audacy Urban Contemporary WXBK “94.7 The Block” erases one-share from that deficit to 2.8 (#16 to #12, 6+). Entering the March sweep, “The Block” more than doubled (net +2.6) its 6+-topline in three consecutive increases (1.8 – 2.2 – 3.6 – 4.4, 6+).

Forfeiting six-tenths each are iHeartMedia Urban Contemporary WWPR “Power 105.1” (3.7 – 3.1, ninth to tenth, 6+) and Spanish Broadcasting System Spanish Contemporary WPAT “Amor 93.1” (2.6 – 2.0, #14 to #16, 6+). In three straight modest increases, “Power” was up seven-tenths (3.0 – 3.1 – 3.5 – 3.7, 6+). “Amor” is in alternating up/down sequence that began in February: 2.0 – 3.0 – 2.4 – 2.6 – 2.0, 6+).

Round Two

Washington, DC

After settling into the runner-up slot four successive sweeps, American University-owned News/Talk WAMU is a combined +2.1 in May and June (10.4 – 11.6 – 12.5, 6+) and repeats at #1. WAMU is in double-digits the sixth straight time (11.0 – 11.8 – 10.8 – 10.4 – 11.6 – 12.5, 6+), recording its best 6+-stat (12.5) in exactly one year (12.7, June 2025, 6+).

On the strength of an eight-tenths June increase, Urban One-owned Spanish Contemporary WLNO erases May’s loss of six-tenths (1.6 – 1.0 – 1.8, 6+) and continues at #18. “Latino 104.1” had a “Holiday” 2025 through April 2026 topline of: .1 – .3 – 1.2 – 1.2 – 1.6 (6+).

Up or flat the past four months more than doubling (net +1.6) its 6+-stat (1.4 – 1.4 – 2.2 – 2.7 – 3.0, 6+), Audacy Spanish Tropical WLZL “El Zol 107.9” forfeits roughly half that increase (2.1, -.9, #10 to #17, 6+).

Boston

On top in February and March, Audacy Adult Contemporary WMJX “Magic 106.7” gains one-half share (6.1 – 6.6, 6+) to leap from third back to first. By doing so, “Magic” breaks May’s #1 tie between Boston University-owned WBUR “Boston’s NPR News Station” (6.2 – 5.9, -.3, 6+) and Beasley Broadcast Group Classic Hits “105.7 WROR” (6.2 – 6.0, -.2, 6+). Setting the pace in April and May, WBUR falls to third, while – after a May-only stay at #1 – WROR takes over in the runner-up slot. Beasley Broadcast Group’s WBZ-FM follows May’s -1.2 with a June dip of seven-tenths (5.9 – 4.7 – 4.0, 6+), as the flagship of the Celtics and Bruins slides from seventh to ninth. “98.5 The Sports Hub” gained eight-tenths in April (5.1 – 5.9, 6+).

Miami

Although down a modest one-tenth to 6.1 (6+), iHeartMedia Spanish Adult Hits WMIA repeats at #1. Entering the June sweep, “Magic 93.9” gained two full-shares via four straight gains (4.2 – 4.3 – 4.9 – 5.3 – 6.2, 6+).

Duplicating May’s bump of six-tenths (1.9 – 2.5 – 3.1, 6+), Educational Media Foundation Contemporary Christian WMLV “K-Love 89.7” zooms from #20 to #15.

Within 2.2 – 2.7 range in each of the last seven survey periods (2.4 – 2.7 – 2.6 – 2.5 – 2.4 – 2.2 – 2.6, 6+), iHeartMedia Urban Contemporary WMIB “103.5 The Beat” slumps by seven-tenths to 1.9 (#19 to #20, 6+).

Seattle

Notwithstanding that News/Talk “94.9 KUOW” is a combined -3.2 in May and June (10.6 – 10.1 – 7.4, 6+), the University of Washington-owned facility is #1 the sixth straight time. KUOW posted a +2.2 in April, but June’s -2.7 (10.1 – 7.4) marks the largest (6+) May 2026 – June 2026 decrease by any PPM-market station thus far.

On the heels of back-to-back modest declines of one-tenth (4.0 – 3.9 – 3.8, 6+), Audacy Alternative KNDD posts a June increase of eight-tenths to 4.6 (6+), as “107.7 The End” progresses from ninth to sixth.

Five straight upticks – including May’s +1.3 – by iHeartMedia Classic Rock “102.5 KZOK” resulted in a net +2.6 (3.0 – 3.6 – 3.8 – 4.1 – 4.3 – 5.6, 6+). In June, however, KZOK surrenders a -1.1 to 4.5 (fourth to seventh, 6+).

Detroit

Down or flat the past four months for a net loss of eight-tenths (7.7 – 7.3 – 7.3 – 6.9, 6+), Audacy-owned WOMC “104.3 Detroit’s Greatest Hits” erupts with a +1.2 to 8.1 (6+) and carries on in the runner-up slot.

Including June’s massive -1.7, iHeartMedia Adult Contemporary “100.3 WNIC” is a combined -2.4 in May and June (7.5 – 6.8 – 5.8, 6+) and drops from third to fifth. Entering the May sweep, WNIC didn’t have a loss the three previous months for a net +1.2 (6.3 – 6.3 – 7.0 – 7.5, 6+).

Phoenix

Not only does iHeartMedia’s KFYI tack on a hefty +1.1 to May’s improvement of eight-tenths (4.8 – 5.6 – 6.7, 6+), “News Talk 550” progresses from third to first. It’s thus a May-only stay at the top for Hubbard Broadcasting-owned KSLX (6.7 – 5.4, -1.3, 6+), which slides from first to third. “Classic Rock 100.7” had a January through May topline of 6.2 – 6.8 – 6.6 – 6.4 – 6.7 (6+).

Minneapolis

Last month’s three-way tie at the top is resolved, with iHeartMedia-owned Classic Hits KQQL emerging as the penthouse’s sole resident. In addition to repeating at #1, “Kool 108” is a net +1.1 in three straight gains (6.9 – 7.0 – 7.8 – 8.0, 6+). KQQL dislodges two cluster-mates: Sports Talk KFXN “100.3 The Fan” (7.8 – 7.2, -.6, three months in a row at #1 to #3, 6+) and Country sibling KEEY “K-102” (7.8 – 7.3 -.5, first-place tie to second, 6+). Entering this sweep, KEEY had five straight gains for a net +3.8 (4.0 – 5.3 – 5.8 – 6.3 – 7.2 – 7.8, 6+).

Immediately after gaining nine-tenths (7.2 – 8.1, 6+), KNOW cratered in May by -1.7 to 6.4 (6+). A combined -1.4 in February and March (8.6 – 7.7 – 7.2, 6+), KNOW had a February-only stay at #1.

As a result of slipping six-tenths to 3.9 (6+), Audacy Country KMNB not only exits the top ten (#10 to #11), “102.9 The Wolf” has its string of consecutive sweeps without a loss snapped at nine (1.7 – 2.0 – 2.0 – 2.0 – 2.0 – 2.6 – 3.1 – 3.8 – 3.8 – 4.5, 6+).

San Diego

Off two-tenths – after May’s gain of three-tenths – Audacy Classic Hits KXSN “Sunny 98.1” threepeats at #1 and has a consistent January through June topline of: 7.7 – 7.7 – 7.4 – 7.4 – 7.7 – 7.5 (6+).

Tampa

A whopping escalation of two full-shares enables Cox Media Group Adult Contemporary WDUV to match its “Holiday” 2025 topline (11.0, 6+). Moreover, “Lite Favorites 105.5” is #1 the fifth successive month.

Including June’s +1.1, Beasley Broadcast Group Country WQYK “99.5 QYK” is a net +2.0 via three successive upticks (2.8 – 3.4 – 3.7 – 4.8, tenth to seventh, 6+).

Denver

Bonneville International Adult Contemporary KOSI “Real Music Variety” matches May’s increase of two-tenths (6.5 – 6.7 – 6.9, 6+) and repeats at #1.

Four stations here improve by one-half share. That quartet includes: iHeartMedia Alternative KTCL “Channel 93.3” (5.2 – 5.7, steady in third-place, 6+); co-owned Colorado Rockies flagship KOA “News Radio 850” (2.9 – 3.4, #13 to #10, 6+); Country cluster-mate KWBL “106.7 The Bull,” which has an identical-to-KOA profile (2.9 – 3.4, #13 to #10, 6+); and Educational Media Foundation Contemporary Christian KLDV “K-Love 91.1” (2.7 – 3.2, #15 to #12, 6+), which was up six-tenths in May (2.1 – 2.7, 6+).

Regaining all but one-tenth of May’s loss of six-tenths (13.1 – 13.6, +.5, 6+), iHeartMedia Urban AC KJMS “V-101” is #1 the 32nd straight time.

When factoring in June’s +1.1, KJMS’ Urban Contemporary sibling – WHRK “K-97” – is a collective +1.8 in three straight spikes (7.9 – 8.6 – 8.8 – 9.7, third to second, 6+). Prior to June’s +1.5 to 6.5 (fifth to fourth, 6+), Audacy Country WLFP “99.7 The Wolf” was a combined -1.2 since March (6.2 – 5.3 – 5.0, 6+).

A combined +2.3 in April and May (8.4 – 9.4 – 10.7, 6+), Audacy Adult Contemporary WRVR “104.5 The River” forfeits approximately half that increase with a -1.2 to 9.5 (second to third, 6+). In May, “The River” registered double-digits (10.7, 6+) for the first time since “Holiday” 2025’s 12.8 (6+). Shifting back to the iHeartMedia cluster, Gospel WHAL “Halleluiah 95.7” is without an increase the third time in a row (-1.4 in June) for a net -2.3 (8.8 – 8.8 – 7.9 – 6.5, flat in fourth-place, 6+).

The tussle for #1 bragging rights between iHeartMedia’s WWYZ “Country 92.5” and Audacy Adult Contemporary WRCH “Lite 100.5” continues, with “Country 92.5” emerging victorious in June (9.9 – 11.0 +1.1, 6+). The two were tied at the top in May, but “Lite” craters by -1.6 (9.9 – 8.3, 6+) and drops to the runner-up slot. “Country 92.5,” which dislodged “Lite” at #1 in April, was a combined +2.5 in March and April (8.4 – 9.7 – 10.9, 6+), but down a full-share in May (10.9 – 9.9, 6+). The four most recent fluctuations by iHeartMedia Classic Hits WHCN “The River 105.9” have been: March’s +1.0; April’s +1.0; May’s -.9; and June’s +1.3 (6.6 – 7.9, sixth to fourth, 6+). Without an increase since February for a net loss of seven-tenths (6.9 – 6.9 – 6.3 – 6.2, 6+), iHeartMedia CHR WKSS “Kiss 95.7” dials up a +1.5 to 7.7 (6+) and progresses from seventh to fifth.

Faltering by nine-tenths, but continuing in third-place and eighth-place, respectively, are Red Wolf Broadcasting Classic Rock WDRC-FM “102.9 The Whale” (9.0 – 8.1, 6+) and Connecticut Public Broadcasting-owned News/Talk WNPR “Connecticut Public Radio” (5.5 – 4.6, 6+). “The Whale” was up three-tenths in May (8.7 – 9.0, 6+), while WNPR improved by four-tenths, after April’s massive -1.8 (6.9 – 5.1 – 5.5, 6+).
